Hi Pearl, congratulation, please what materials did you use for the whole study for listening, Reading,Writing and Speaking and how long did you study before the exam
thank you very much smiley smiley. For the listening, I used a combination of YouTube listening tests and
the listening tests in Cambridge books, for Reading, I used Cambridge books mostly, I practiced more academic tests than general training and timed myself while at it. this was particularly helpful as I finished in under 40 minutes in the actual test. For writing test, I majorly used Ieltsbuddy (there's loads of information there). I prepared for the test in a month as It was my second attempt. Wishing you the very best...

Congrats!
Did you also use e2language for your writing practice?
I used Ieltsbuddy majorly... It was really helpfulsmiley
Also, I realized that doing a word count is very important. It's very easy not to meet the required amount of words.

Congratulations! I can't imagine the relief. We are still refreshing our browsers. Will this be the first time they are delaying on uploading results? I haven't found many people complaining about this online.
lol! You have no idea... The sigh of relief I heaved was enough to cause a hurricane grin grin grin. First time I checked with BC, I didn't see my results till about 2pm. This is quite unusual. I guess the only option is to exercise some patience... I pray for a favorable outcome on your behalf.

I just want to testify that I've crossed this Ielts hurdle.

First with BC LRWS 8.5, 9, 6.5, 7.5. I applied for the EOR and decided to sit for another one... 7 weeks and counting still no result... Thankfully, I won't be needing it.

2nd time with MOD IDP LRWS 8, 9, 8, 8...

Glory be to God.

Lastly, I just want to encourage everyone still trying to cross the Ielts hurdle, it is gonna happen. Keep your chin up and keep trying. It'll all end in praise.

Just got my Ielts result. I'm just so so sad right now.
LRSW= 8.5, 9, 7.5, 6.5. In that order. Please, What are the chances of getting an upgrade after requesting for a remark?

I thought so too... thank you very much. I'd do just that.

The choice is yours. Personally I would say stick with your current name until you are both in Canada then you can change it. This will avoid having to submit additional documents and going through the stress at this stage. It is what I did. We are currently on IP1 and didn't change my name

Hello everyone, I've been a silent reader for a while now, and I'd like to thank everyone for their useful contribution. and congratulate everyone who got their ITA yesterday. I just have one inquiry, I have decided to enter the pool as married in a few months, I would like to be advised if I should continue all applications with my current surname (I have started my document evaluation and written Ielts with my current name), would a name change (taking my fiance's name) affect me in any way?.
Useful advise would be much appreciated. Thank you.
