Hello,

My dad has been complaining of not being able to see with one of his eyes if the other one is closed. Just yesterday he went to the hospital and was diagnosed of cataract.

Pls what's the cost of surgery n which hospital can u recommend for the surgery.

I love it when I come here to read the good news of God in our lives. Congratulations to Sharon6, nutigal etc

I went for another scan today and I've been able to confirm I'm team blue, saw my LO's tomjones, his limbs, head name it. Most important of all, he's very active such that God has used him to clear the delivery canal (cervix) where there was fibroid.

Fibroid or no fibroid, my baby is kicking seriously, playing, bouncing & healthy. Chai, I can't but praise this God.

I went to Lagos Island. A friend said it was a waste of time and energy that I would have gone toTrade Fair/Under bridge. That the prices are almost the same.

Pls house, I stay at Orelope in Egbeda, I want to register in a general hospital, which hospital would u recommend?

I'm 5 months plus, yet to go for shopping, what are the basic things I need to get aside from baby clothes. Also, which market can I get them at a reasonable price as I intend going this Friday.

MsPat, I think say na only me ordinary water no gree pass her throat o. If water is not as cold to a point of freezing, it makes me throw up. One of my hobbies during MS na to chop ice like tomorrow no dey. Mehn, all na history now.

Not much MS yet oo...just that I get easily tired now at the slightest thing , throwing up Saliva too much, cough and then hunger every 3hours and nauseating....I just pray it doesn't get too bad than this...

Your own is good now, no vomiting, u can eat. Hmmmm, mine was first class MS, a spoon of food in my mouth makes me throw up every other thing in my stomach, smell of food esp boiled fish or beans is trouble with capital T, tiredness nko n sleep, after sleeping at night, once my hubby leaves for work I resume another section of sleep till 2-3pm. It was one symptom to the other on daily basis till it stopped. Esp the vomiting, I dropped more than 15kg in one month, all my cloths became 'my mama dash me'

All in all my sis, its a beautiful experience but I no pray for repetition in next preggy o, I can't shout.

Well for me, I had a serious dose of morning sickness in my first trimester, my babe is doing real fine now. I think it's one of the phases some female pass through during early pregnancy but I assure you, it will pass. Happy bumping to you.

Kk, I'll take folic acid only. The feeling after using routine drug is not pleasant at all, scared of using it sef.

peddylove. teamie.. I have only taken folic acid once this pregnancy. I am glad I tolerate fruits and veggies well now. Routine drugs make my Morning sickness terrible too. BTW....

EBF ( Exclusive Breastfeeding) mainly done for 6 months. No water just breast milk all through for a new born baby.

Some say you give water, some say you don't. I EBFd my first baby without water.

Thought it was just my body reacting to the routine drugs, I stopped totally, not on any drug @ d moment.

Hmmm, routine drugs? I stopped using mine for the past 2weeks. I get instant MS (nausea, vomiting, tiredness, no appetite etal) whenever I take it and I've been fine since then.

I am extremely sad today. I've been ttc for 3 months. Got married 3rd Oct, 2015 & my fertile period was 6th Oct. As per newly wedded we made love each day of the 6 fertile days. I was disappointed when I saw my period. I have a 28 days cycle & I ovulate on the 14th day. Today I did a pregnancy test using test strip & it showed negative. I was home last week & my mum asked if I was pregnant. I'm getting crazy & loosing my mind. I've gone through a lot in life that I don't think I have the strength to face this again. Pls I need encouragement & prayers.

I joined this thread because I read Udoomama's testimony on the preggy thread and was touched.

I got married August 8, 2015 on 22nd of the same month I took in and still bumping by God's grace.

And so I decree into the lives of everyone here, u shall change status from TTC to bumping mamas, 2016 will not pass u by without our bundle(s) of joy and when it comes, u shall carry to terms and deliver like the Hebrew women. I'm expecting as many that believe to port to the preggy thread to share your testimonies in d shortest possible time. So shall it be IJN

Come and praise the Lord with me, after 7years of childlessness, we were blessed with a baby girl yesterday 12/12/15 weighing 2.8kg via emergency CS. Recovery is quite painful but when I see my daughter, I tell myself it's worth every pain. BS later.

My BS:
The night of 7th had me going to urinate over 10times till the morning of 8th. I also noticed my BH was stronger, however, i went to work as i was yet to commence my leave. i later left by 1pm for my kids xmas carol and i decided to time the BH/contraction, it was 1 in 10mins and regular. I stopped over at d hosp on our way home and i was told to drop my kids and return since i wasn't a first timer.
Part 2:
I went to the hosp by 7pm and was told i was 2cm. I wasn't happy staying in the hosp for latent phase labour. However, by 11:30pm, i woke up with painful contractions and my water broke. From that time upwards, it was fire, the contractions were coming 3 in 10mins. I don't shout while in labour but i dey blab for state, me and mad woman fit compete sef. I was saying many incohorent things. By 2am of 9th, i had this very strong urge to pooh and all was set for me then contractions disappeared completely and i slept off. The doctors weren't comfortable so they kept waking me but all i wanted was to sleep. Later they added oxytoxin to my drip and the contractions came back. With 2 pushes my baby was out (at 38wks 3days) with cord tight around his neck but God saw us through. We were discharged the next day.
I thank God for
1. seeing me through this preg even when my pcv nosedived, it came up again.
2. Travelled to Abuja for an exam @ 36weeks, came back whole and passed the exam
3. First time of delivering without blood transfusion
4. First time of birthing without a cut
5. First time of having a 3+kg baby.
Sorry for my longggggg story.
