I don collect staff position there, once I get there, I dont need to tell them what I want n how many, pple plenty or not, they attend to me first, one of the advantages of waddling and I can overuse it like there's no tomorrow.

And it happened again today, I've noticed this for long, my boy can like church ehn, whenever i'm in church, the kicks no be here o, he will kick me till I leave the church n on getting home, he will find better corner go sleep.

Last Sunday, I didn't know one of the big mummies in church saw his movement, after church she said iyaibeji, ur baby don kick u tire today. I just laughed.

@ mitchyy, the tummy is nt fully flat oooo cos am yet to get my pre pregnancy tummy back.although I had a flat tummy b4 so it helped alittle. Funny enough Dh still complain that am not trying to get to shape back cos I ws weighing 56kg b4 pregnancy n now am 63kg.
     Mine method ws the constant use of post pregnancy tummy trimmer n eating moderately cos I did nt allow anyone near me with hot water in the name of pressing my tummy n giving me unnecessary wrinkle on my tummy

I have not given birth, but if I ever have this strange cravings..i know its not easy and might be easier said than done..I'd try to control it..but might give in to the ones that are not so weird or unhealthy that is only if I find I'm unable to control it...

It started February 26th when she asked for catfish pepper soup.

After buying it, she tasted it, frowned and pushed it aside, said it's tasteless...then started nagging me of not being a caring husband. That's not true!

Next time, on the road...she told me stop and buy her ice cream, then again gala, then again pop corn!!! I complained of her strange eating habit. She got angry and threw everything away. Again, I'm not caring!!

Last Sunday, she disgraced me...yes, disgraced me, because she I took her a family meeting. They served her rice but she still went to beg an old woman to share her pounded yam with her!!!!

Someone said pregnant ladies act strange but this one is madness! I've called her mom to come take care of her daughter by herself.

Or I'd leave one day and won't come back!

Please and please, take it easy with her, she needs u now more than ever.

For me, my first trimester was hell, every week comes with new symptoms, catarrh, headache, nausea, vomiting name it. The only thing that satisfied me was cracking ice, I didn't step into my kitchen to cook and if hubby must cook, he knows he can't cook beans or boiled fish.

Then came second trimester and my cravings changed to amala and moimoi, if I don't eat them in a day, i'm not complete for that day.

Now third trimester, and all I want is yoghurt n agbalumo. The worse is I forget things like.......

i tot first trimester was the hardest but na lie third trimester is
- up untill now am yet to find the most comfortable position to sleep(sometimes i result to crying whenever i see dh sleeping soundly)
- i am always hungry:if you like give me two plates of pounded yam i will ask for more in an hour time
-i cant trek for long without feeling as if my pelvic wants to fall out.
-what about all the pitiful stares and remarks i do get from all this women in my street,i guess they mean well.
-i have become a shopaholic,buying up baby clothes(i think am preparing for thread cuties )
-what about forgetfulness ,that is the main cause of all the quarell in my house now(i cant believe that i went to th ATM and couldnt remember my password)

Hey teamie, I'm facing same here o even though my tummy is not very big maybe as per first time things.

Between two of us I no know who forgetfulness dey worry pass o. As u dey talk, e dey enter one ear comot for the other. What could be the cause ?

I use manual mostly and electric occasionally. My boss sews till delivery day lolz, at least I witness one. So what stops me from sewing till close to EDD?

I told the Dr about it and he said no p, so long as I wasn't feeling any discomfort.

In a related development,Mamas please rejoice with me. A good friend who got married a month after I did and has been TTC for 8years put to bed today. Been shedding tears of joy. We live towns apart so I didnt even tell her that I had twins last year cos I feared she might feel i'm rubbing it in her face that I now have 5 and she's desperate for just one.

@udoomama have you done a 4D ultrasound? Was told @16weeks by the sonographer where I did antenatal that my twins didn't share sac or placenta and they were male and female.Took it with a pinch of salt cos I no dey see anytin for 2D. Went elsewhere for 4D @20wks and I got the same verdict. In this case,i saw the genitals and the 2 placentae clearly. If you haven't but can afford it please go for 4D and doppler or only the 4D to save cost.

Is it true that a pregnant woman shouldn't eat anything cooked with bitter leaf or scent leaf (nchanwu, efirin) and that she must not eat any hot food/water? A pregnant friend of mine has stopped cooking with these because she said it will wash away the pregnancy, she only uses Ugu leaves.

Also, can the use of sewing machine affect pregnancy, whether manual or electric?

CheeryChy, for me, I eat both bitterleaf n efirin. Also, for the sewing, I sew on daily basis ( sewing at a stretch).

So I think it depends on you.
