Good day All,

Please I would like to hear from someone who used 25% PFA contribution as POF.
- Were you stressed or did VO request for ADR?
- What documents did you present? Did your PFA have to state in the letter that you will be eligible to access 25%

Note: I will be eligible to access 25% in a month or so and intend to use it as my POF. I use Stanbic IBTC

Thanks

DatechMan:
1 - You need to show sale evidence and asset evidence. Agreement, reciept and survey/plan could be useful
2 - Nothing to say
3 - You do not need to withdraw the money from the pension account, just get a reference letter from your PFA
4 - Investment certificate
5 - Investment certificate /evidence and consent letter from your wife

It is advisable to make a tabulation of all your source of funds. This should be the first page of your POF document.
@DatechMan Thanks, this is very helpful. just to clarify below

1 - You need to show sale evidence and asset evidence. Agreement, reciept and survey/plan could be useful Ths is clear
2 - Nothing to say

3 - You do not need to withdraw the money from the pension account, just get a reference letter from your PFA
So the funds don't need to reflect on my bank balance, is that what you mean? plus I don't have to show my Pension Statement?

4 - Investment certificate
So the funds also don't need to reflect on my bank balance (the statement I intend to submit)? plus I don't have to show my investment trail or Statement?

5 - Investment certificate /evidence and consent letter from your wife
So the funds also don't need to reflect on my bank balance (the statement I intend to submit)? plus I don't have to show my wife's investment trail or Statement?

Please can you comment on the bank account I intend to use, its been active for just 2months now. With the proofs above will the average balance over 6months still matter. I usually don't keep cash in my accounts

Thanks

Good day House,

This POF is still a bit confusing can someone knowledgeable about these matters please advice me, see bullets below

- Do I need to show bank statements using my salary account (I do not wish to use this account), I wish to use another bank which is not the salary account, although I opened it about 4yrs ago its been seriously active for just 2months. Can I still use it, if I gather all funds stated below into that account?

- Why do they need average bank balance? how is it calculated

- 1st source: of funds - I intend to sell a property to cover for 60%, what do I need to show here? The property does not have a CofO
- 2nd source: I intend to do a gift deed from a close family member to cover 10%
- 3rd source: I intend to use 25% of my pension account to cover about 15% of POF. Do I need to get pension statements or a letter from my PFA? should this be before or after I withdraw the said amount from mt Pension account?
- 4th source: I also intend to use funds from a mutual fund investment account, what do I need to show here?
- 5th source: I also intend to use funds from a mutual fund investment account of my WIFE, what do I need to show here?

Finally it there a way I can simplify and consolidate my income sources so that I avoid pitfalls during these POF submissions. I will really like to submit one or two solid POFs. Please take note of the bank account I intend to use.

Note I intend to travel with my family.

Thanks

very painful to see such results. LRSW 7.5, 7.5, 7.0, 8.0. cry cry cry cry cry cry

second attempt, BC why! Why!! Why me!!!
Sorry Bro, I feel your pain, to get maximum scores for the combo above you need to score at least an 8 in Listening, to attain a CLB 9 and over. That's usually the Achilles heel for most brilliant test takers. My advice for listening is to practice as many exercises as possible and aim to score an average of 37/40 in practice. In the real exam once you fail more than 5 questions (less than 35/40) in listening test forget it you will fall to a 7.5 band.

I had to do at least 30 listening practice test (under exam condition) before the main exam just to make sure i bury the main test.

Hello House,

Has anybody (living in Nigeria) obtained a UK Police Clearance Certificate? I may need one since I spent some time living in the UK.
- How long did it take?
- How much did it cost you?
- What documents did u use?

Cheers

Algbenguze:
If the Company A work experience was continuous and is within last 10yrs, then use only that since 3yrs already gives max points for experience outside Canada. All others should only appear in your personal history and you'll be fine.
Ouch! Its actually starts from 2006. Can I include A & B then?

einsteino:
move company D from work history to personal history. that way you wouldnt need a reference letter.
@einsteino Really, Thanks alot.

- Won't the gap in work history be an issue? Do work experience gaps really affect points claimed for work experience?
- If I move Company D, will I have enough work experience to claim maximum points? Cos i need the max.

Its unfortunate that the company I have the most experience is the one giving me reference issues.

Thank you Sir.

Hi Elders in the house.

I have a question on claiming Work Experience for Express Entry Application. Some of the companies in my past experience (Nigerian work experience) have agreed to give a reference letter while others won't. Can I simply exclude the the experience that does not have a reference letter? Will a 3yr gap in my experience raise a red flag or get me rejected? I need someone who is experienced in this

Company A (3yrs experience) - reference provided
Company B (8mnths experience) - reference provided
Company C (7mnths experience) - reference provided
Company D (3.5yrs experience) - NO reference letter
Company E (2yrs experience) - reference provided

Can I exclude company D from my application? OR can I include it and NOT send any re fence letter? What are the implications. Thanks

BusinessRe: Why Insider Frauds Thrive In Banks- Assbifi by PefHouse: 3:46pm On May 12, 2015
These are the same staff we should trust with our BVN where your financial and personal information can be accessed across all banks by one fraudulent staff in a bank with security lapses.

- Imagine a fraudulent staff in bank A knowing what your financial status is accross all your accounts in banks B &C, along with your address, phone , next of kin, place of employment, business etc. With multiple ills in a society where kidnap for ransom and armed robbery is the order of the day.

This is very alarming and until the fundamental issues of integrity among bank staff is address, the BVN thing just exposes customers to greater risk of internally orcestrated fraud

Bank Staff welfare is another matter, 95% of fraud is still motivated by greed.
