Compliment of the season everyone. I have been on NL for a while now and have never opened a thread, most times I just read, smile and learn.
Since after NYSC earlier this year, getting a job has been quiet challenging, rejections here and there. I read a lot of success stories here on NL and I kept asking myself 'when will it be my turn', well TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY because I just received my success mail and job offer. The journey was not easy but I learnt a lot and I appreciate everyone on NL whose story have been a source of motivation and inspiration.
To all who job seekers who fill they are failures and want to give up, here is what I have learnt from my failures. '' Failing doesn't mean I am a failure, it just means I have not succeeded yet, it doesn't mean I have accomplished nothing;it just means I have learned something, it doesn't mean I should give up ;it just means I should try harder, it doesn't mean God has abandoned me;it just means He has a better idea!''

They were only simulating the scenarios you would encounter on the job. Being a CSR @ a DISCO no be ice-cream o. Do you know how irate wrongly-billed electricity consumers can be. Tell me you, even an applicant, have never used a curse word on 'NEPA'. You would have helped yourself a great deal if you did not allow their hostility get to you and smiled all through. I had a tip of this during my ESR interview. Nonetheless, good luck!

Ok, nw I tink I shld respond to this.. I only took my time to give those who needed clues on how the 2nd stage of the interview went and not to get schooled or scolded like a kid! I also didn't mention anytin about 'the panelists' hostility getting to me'...'got invited for the medicals so I guess I was successful through God's grace. Thanks bt I sincerely dnt tink I can work with ur type of person...mehn

Ok......let me tryna remember a few....questions like wat u knw abt d csr roles and objectives in IE, explain ur knowledge of sound usage of a computer and hw best u can use various applications, why u want to work with IE....e.t.c

You need to know that the questions aint d issue, d harsh and unfrndly environment trying to make one confused and disorganised is! I think I av tried. God's success to us all

Since this is being ignored, let me reply as best as I can.

Firstly you're not alone, I applied with 2.2 and didn't get an invite. Sincerely, I can't say if it has to do with 2.2 or not.

But what i've noticed is most/all people on here that got the invite are currently employed one way or the other, so I think that was one of the criteria.

For the 2.2, like I said, I can't really say, unless someone with 2.2 that got the invite replies.

Mehn....mine was like close to 25minutes o, I noticed dat particular panel spends more time with applicants unlike the others

Jst like Setaje said...its an individual interview and 3 panelists. I was also asked to introduce myself, explain explicitly my present everyday job functions, how best can I reslove customers complaints, can I communicate an information to a customer even when I know its a lie considering my religion, what new skills I want to bring to the organization, what do I know so far about the organization, what is my present salary like? Well, I guess the questions are also determined by the panelists cos there were four rooms yesterday. Jst be bold while talking. A quick one for the guys, pls wear a jacket/suit. I didn't wear one and one of my panelists complained abt it. I wish u the very best of God.
