U know if for example ur mates graduated in 2022 and after doing extra year u later passed the courses holding u; ur name will be in 2024 graduating list. That 2024 graduating list ur name appears, ur class of degree will be stated. they won't list u along with those whose original year of graduation is 2024.
So, these people on that list may be extra year students who just finished their extras. Nobody expects them to graduate with first class, 2:1 or 2:2 after Carryover has done much damage to their CGPA

I regard "Elerin Ipin" in this manner because of the positive way it portrays Isese, Yoruba culture and traditions, especially the scenes (Philosophy 101 in Yoruba) about Orunmila, who is "the father of wisdom" for us, the real Yoruba people (not Yoruba-Arabs or Yoruba-English people).
The lead actor, Adeyemi Ifasooto, who also wrote and produced the epic movie, portrayed the concept of egbe (group) and atona (guide) well.
For wise Yoruba people, these are key support systems in this wicked world.
A person without such a support system and such vital connections to their roots (their ancestors and forebears) is weak and vulnerable.
There are some challenges one faces in life that make one realize logic isn't enough in certain situations in life and that Qur'an and the Bible have no real power.
In such situations, a wise person will know they need to turn to their ancestors and forebears for guidance.
