Fanatics. The funny thing is that CAF will do little or nothing about this. In 2003, even Isa Hayatou was also targeted as well as Orji Uzo Kalu. Why can't CAF force them to play behind closed doors and fine them heavily? What is CAF so afraid of? |
Leeeekeeee:Which authorities are you talking about? You mean the ones that hardly function? The direct loosers in all of this is the company......imagine the huge loss the company will suffer if lives were lost and also to their motor. So yes the company should be sacking him for endangering individuals as well as himself. If you have a driver that does this to your motor, will you wait for 'authorities' to act? Won't you sack him yourself? |
ChuzzyBlog:It happens. Is mostly the careless drivers who don't value their life or that of their passengers that partake in this kind of things not minding the repercussion. Imagine dozing off on the wheel? If feeling dizzy why can't you notify the passengers....at least they'll shout on you, but at the end of the day you've saved lives by telling them. Instead of driving them to impending doom |
Linkzy:What kind of visa? |
Most of these keke drivers are so impatient, always trying to maneuver even when the conditions aren't favourable. I feel sad for the young girl and the driver |
Not bad |
Nigeria is on a dangerous precipice and one can't tell if she'll make it to safe haven or fall into a ditch, never to rise again. May God help her. |
daretodiffer:Councillor you say..... I know of many Councillor's that don't even stay in the ward they're in charge of, they only come once in a long while and suddenly become frequent when is time for re election. For example: A Councillor of a particular ward in Surulere will be living at Festac....how do you expect him to carry out his duties when he doesn't even stay in his locality? You can't try this in saner countries cos that will be the end of your political career...but in Nigeria people don't see it that way, they even celebrate them when they come around. Nigeria's political style is totally broken; from the top (President) down to the Councillor level, it needs restructuring. |
ValerianSteel:Perfect question. Does the OP even know what NATO is, and does he also know that of recent Saudi Arabia has over taken Russia in terms of military strength? Why do you think Obama wants Saudi as an ally? Wake up Op, Russia doesn't stand a chance! |
Missy89:Since when Ben Carson endorsed Donald Trump, he became a different person entirely. Who cares what he thinks. So long as this is implemented, I'll be happy about it |
Back in the days ![]() African leaders will rather their citizens die in war while trying to unseat them or they die on the presidential seat than relinquish it to someone else to avoid bloodshed. A case study of Gaddafi, Mubarak and currently Mugabe. |
Thank God no life was lost. The company should sack the driver asap for this. I know of some transportation companies that pays their drivers based on the trip they make - the more trips they go, the more they earn, so these drivers will end up running themselves to exhaustion without even caring for their own safety or that of the passengers. This could be one of those instances. |
Schematics:Are you serving there with him too? First it was scammers, now impostors have taken over NL |
How are we even sure this place is Owerri? Besides we have worse looking places like this in Lagos - places like Makoko, Orile, Ajegunle, Shomolu, as per flooding even the highbrow areas like Lekki and VI isn't left out......so what exactly is your point? |
They keep telling you N199, when you get to the bank you'll find out that it is around N196. I'm just tired of this new policy by our banks |
She's not looking bad |
Davido looks older than 22 or is it 23 he uses? |
It looks ancient though. This should be in pet section and not celebrity |
Many North African countries aren't friendly with the rest of Africa |
Hi LagosNIV, Pls what is the duration in months or years for an American citizen to file for his brother (the same father and mother) before he's given a Green Card. And also what's the duration in months or years for a mother to file for her son for same. |

New? So I must be an active poster before you'll know I'm not new to the happenings going on in Nigeria? You're a comedian seriously. Aufbauh: |
BeardedMeat:My brother, if you don't know this set of people that's when you'll think they are fighting for the good of everybody, but their tribalism/propaganda stinks, watch how they've refused to hold their own to ransom, yet one of them went to twitter to shamelessly accuse another senator of another region. Talking about double standard. |
Aufbauh:Did you even read the article? What has SS/SE senators got to do with this? Isn't the supposed project suppose to go through 3 SWstern states? Why aren't you pointing out your own Senators incompetence? Rubbish! |
You see how incompetent this Government is, there's nothing it can't do without generating controversy. some claim the omission was from the budget office, others say it was removed by the House of Reps.......so which are we to believe now? And why were you pointing out Amaechi this Amaechi that? Doesn't he have the portfolio of 'Minister of Transportation', isn't it his job to make sure it is there? We should stop celebrating mediocrity. |
Where's that Babalola guy who's trying to drag IPOB to ICC for killing 5 fulani herdsmen, if not for fear or hatred, this are the kind of things he or that his useless group should spend their time and energy on, not chasing shadows and unconfirmed news that both the Abia State Government, security personnel and the DSS in Abia has both denied knowledge of. When I look at all this thing sometimes, I blame the State Governors that entertain such nonsense in their own home. Imagine if any Southern group was causing this kind of commotion in the North, their Northern leaders will definitely come out and speak for their people. But down South, I don't know if is fear or what that usually make them keep quiet. Note: Taraba is a Predominantly christian state, and sadly, that's where most of this thing has been happening. |

Benjamite01:If you've traveled before then you can apply thru France. Is much easier. |
I'll have to agree with the first poster....you can't just live 20years abroad and decide one day to pack your bags and come back to Nigeria to invest, you must have been coming frequently - say every two to three years to see how things are and also make up your mind on the kind of business that will suit you and the environment you're going to stay. No matter how things are in Nigeria, is still our home and ours to develop. One more question to the OP: don't you have families and friends over here who can keep you abreast on the situation of things in your locality which you might want to settle your business into? I'll say communication is the key.....keeping in touch with families and friends over here is a surer bet than believing everything you read online. Cos in that way, you'll have a good insight as to what to expect when coming. |
With a schengen visa, you can enter/visit about 26 European Countries without worries. But if you're talking of settling down, I'll advise you go for Germany, cos they have a very good economy and the standard of living is low. Plus most of them speak English as well. |
