Just my thoughts too. All American states are being run like a country of its own - each Governor trying to perform better than the other. But what do we have in Nigeria? Greedy leaders that are just after their pockets, nothing more!
If Governors where working, I believe we would have a massive change in the country, not some silly a*ss Governors who just embezzle funds for their state.

Is your friend a legal resident in the US? If yes then he can. He will be sending you the letter and not the US Embassy.
Also you need to note this:
Is he sponsoring the trip or are you sponsoring yourself?
If he's sponsoring your trip then he needs to provide bank statement showing that he can foot your bills, but if you're the one then you need to provide evidence that you can take care of your bills yourself.
Are you married or single?
You need to provide evidence that you have strong ties with your country of birth?

If you can clear all these, then I'm 100% sure you'll be given the tourism visa.

Your old passport, does it have any country's visa stamp on it? If it doesn't, then I don't think they'll ask for it. But next time don't make such silly mistakes changing ages, cos Europe and America and especially Canada are too careful when going thru ones document/passport. Just a little miss spelt detail can cost you a visa.

Why is it that women are always guilty of this type of incidence? Is crazy to think that a woman will carry a child for nine months, after the whole stress and pains of child birth, still go ahead to do this to another person's child.

Sometimes I wonder why this corpers put their life on the line for practically no reason. The last thing I'll be doing as a corper is to be an INEC official in Rivers or places like Borno, Yobe etc. Your life isn't worth the risk! even before the election we could see how heated up Rivers State was, why put your life on the line again?
Had it been those that snatched the ballot box and other materials came with guys and shot y'all, we will be seeing graphic pix by now.
I repeat again: YOUR LIFE AS A CORPER ISN'T WORTH THE RISK of being a mere INEC official which they might not even pay you at the end of the day!

If only kogi state were smart enough to checkmate all the evil done during their own election, it would have been better.........but they all went to sleep. Rivers is hot today because Wike didn't fold arms and watch APC come and make a mockery of all the election process.

Saraki's issue is personal, the leadership of APC didn't want him to be the Senate President because they still saw and are still seeing him as a PDP member, even the deputy Senate President is PDP and Saraki is still very popular among PDP senators and House of Rep members, that's why.
