I am Yoruba and am fully in support of the biafra project. Why should fundamental human rights not apply to the right to seccession ? Who in his/her right senses in nigeria would say there is unity in this country. It is only in the north that self-determination groups in one form or the order do not exist. Though the level of publicity or agitation may vary.
The fact remains that nigeria is a
forced marriage of incompatibles. I
keep wondering what sort of leaders are saddled with directing the affairs
of this country. What does it take
them to come to terms with the realities of our situation. Which is that, in order to avoid a sudden conflagration, nigeria has no other options than to go back to pre-66 arrangement, a con-federation or outright breakup. For how long shall we continue to postpone the evil day ? Besides, why is such a deafening silence across the country of the fact that nigeria as a sovereign country ceased to exist since 2014 ?
