Teaching job nearly derailed my career plan. It was one of my worst decisions ever. I wished I never wasted about 6 years teaching. I should have used that golden period to learn a tech skills. Thank God I left though.

Update on the Solution Innovation District Awka

I don't like when governments embark on a project or something that ordinarily supposed to be driven by the private sector like in the case of this innovation center. What is the purpose of this innovation center? Is it for all the tech entrepreneurs to rent office there and pioneer stuffs or what? Or is it just to create another office file repository for corrupt public officials?

The Silicon valley in CA I don't think it is the U.S government that built it.

Governments should rather give incentives to the private investors so that they can be encouraged to build things like this.

I really hope this project and building will truly serve the purpose for which all these spendings are being made. I will be watching!

All round performance. Strong hardware, no screen issues like Samsung. The software works perfectly with the hardware and there is never a case of lagging.

You can imagine having 20 different heavy apps running at the same time and the phone won't hang abit or slow.

Tough build and steady android update.

I currently use a Pixel 5 and i tell you, the Picture quality is unbeatable by any device.

With the price range you stated, you should get a UK used Pixel 6.

Now that you have understood that it is a LICENCED gun. You MUST again understand that he has the full right to self-defense. Especially given the modus operandi of the so called EFCC operatives. You cannot just barge into anybody's house in the midnight and expect the person to sit idly and welcome you with open arms especially with the high rate of crimes all over Nigeria.

I am sure the govt robbers did not identity themselves to the doctor and even if they did, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, there are better ways they could have met with the Doctor. What stops them from picking him up from his working place/hospital if at all they were genuine? I cannot imagine the trauma the family would be in by that time of the night. My heart goes out to them honestly.

With an average lawyer, the doctor will come out from the case. This is a clear case of SELF-DEFENSE!!!

The two incidents are not similar.
The reason for the seizure in Lagos port is contained in the Headline - Expired Drugs

Meaning they were not contraband, but rather drugs that go expired.

The fact that a necessary permit was not obtained before the importation of something does not make the product a contraband.

So the question still remains- what makes the Diclofenac imported through Eastern port a contraband?

This whole debacle looks like the usual ploy- To make the Eastern ports unviable, simply by frustrating the efforts of businesses towards patronizing the Eastern Seaport.

This is what the word contraband means. So in this context, I don't see how the Diclofenac happens to be categorized as a contraband whereas it is bought and sold everyday.

The only explanation that may sound logical, is if the medicals were seized because they were imported through a seaport that the government did not designate for importation of the said drugs.

Most of the population of Ogun state do not have that disposable income such as to afford a flight ticket. I know what I'm talking about.

This so called airport will hardly see 100 passengers in 4 months period this is not like Anambra Airport, Imo, Enugu and Asaba airport- including Omagwa airport in Port Harcourt that sees a high patronage from their people as a result of high disposable income.

......The money that was wasted on this elephant project should have been used to build all the deplorable roads in Abeokuta. Currently, Ogun state does not have a single motorable road to boast of.
