Student loan: Former APC Diaspora official lauds Tinubu, NASS

Abuja, April 4, 2024 (NAN) Mr Ayoola Lawal, former secretary, Committee of APC Diaspora Chairmen, has commended President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly for their dedication to the advancement of education in Nigeria.

Lawal, a former APC chairman in the Scandinavia countries, gave the commendation in a statement on Thursday against the backdrop of the amendment and subsequent signing into law of the the Student Loan Bill.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Tinubu, on Wednesday, passed the Student Loans (Access to Higher Education) Act (Repeal and Re-Enactment) Bill, 2024, into law.

This was after separate considerations by both the Senate and the House of Representatives of the report of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund.

Speaking after he signed the bill, Tinubu said no Nigerian, regardless of their background, would be excluded from obtaining quality education.

Lawal noted that the landmark legislation, represented a significant milestone in ensuring equitable access to higher education for all students in Nigeria.

This, according to him, is irrespective of their financial backgrounds in Nigeria.

He added that by enabling access to student loans, the government had taken a decisive step towards fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.

He said the amendments pushed by the president and introduced by the national assembly demonstrated a profound commitment to addressing the challenges faced by students in accessing quality education.

According to him, by streamlining the loan application process, instituting favourable terms and conditions, and implementing flexible repayment options, the revised bill reflects a nuanced understanding of the needs and aspirations of students.

He said there were still some grey areas to be refined, adding, however, that the country was on the right path.

He said the swift action taken by Tinubu in signing the bill into law underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to prioritise education as a cornerstone of national development.

He said such a decisive move would undoubtedly have far-reaching positive implications for the educational landscape of the country.

He added that it would empower many students to pursue their academic aspirations without undue financial burden.

“I firmly believe that the Student Loans Act will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic empowerment and contribute significantly to the realisation of our nation’s educational goals,” he said.

He urged all stakeholders, including educational institutions, financial institutions and civil society organisations to collaborate closely in implementing and monitoring the provisions of the act.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Adron Homes and Properties, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, has described the death of Olubadan, HIM Senator Oba Lekan Balogun Ali, Okunmade II, as a monumental loss to Yoruba Land, Ibadan Land and the traditional institution.

Aare Adetola who is also the Aare Apesinola of Ibadan land has commiserated with a deceased family who joined his ancestors after two years of ascending the throne of his forefathers.

Marcus Tibetan: A Fake Prophet Of Several Atrocities, Filled With Demonic Bitterness

Marcus Tibetan, a self-acclaimed spiritual leader of The Celestial Church Of Christ, Elisha Parish should be yanked-off the ‘prophet’ title by whoever gave it to him because he has never exhibited the character of one who has a prophetic call, rather, he has always constituted nuisance and continue to prove that he is a mere crook who mistakenly found his way into the ministry majorly to swindle, defraud, and manipulate unsuspecting and gullible individuals.

By mere observation, Marcus Tibetan appears to be someone suffering from mental disorder, psychological unrest, poverty-stricken mind coupled with serious envy and bitterness against everyone doing better than him in the prophetic ministry. He appears to be a very confused individual who doesn’t know how to navigate the ministry because he wasn’t called at first.

Every prophet is popular for giving accurate prophecies, correctly foretelling events that would come to pass but for Marcus Tibetan, He is only popular for seeing fake visions against other men of God that are successful that he can ever be. He is only popular for calling out other prophets and when he tries to prophecy, the opposite of his prophecies happen.

In 2022, Marcus Tibetan courageously told Journalists that Bishop Oyedepo would die in 2023. He went as far as saying that he has seen the colour of his coffin.

‘’ I have told you that Oyedepo will die in 2023. They have brought his coffin and it is white. I saw the Nigerian flag on the coffin. Let us be expecting around July’’

If Nigeria was a very sane country, Tibetan should have been locked up in prison when this stupid statement he called a prophecy didn’t come to pass. Bishop Oyedepo didn’t even fall sick in 2023 not to talk of experiencing death. This further reveals the demonic bitterness Tibetan has for other men of God and how he is hiding under the guise of prophecy to churn out rubbish against respected men of God.

It would also be recalled that when Apostle Suleman was attacked by unknown gunmen sometime ago, Marcus Tibetan immediately called some journalist on his payroll to say God knew about what happened to the apostle and that he is not a real man of God. He accused him of being a cultist because of his fashion style and said several unprintable things about the apostle that further confirms that indeed, He (Tibetan) is very bitter towards the man of God because of his exploits.

We can’t also forget so soon when fake Prophet Marcus Tibetan accused Pastor Adeboye of sacrificing his deceased son to escape death and Pastor W.F Kumuyi of sacrificing his deceased wife to elongate his life. I really can’t imagine how such a man could even still be referred to as a prophet; someone is known for nothing other than saying lunatic words against his fellow human, desecrating the highly respected prophetic ministry, making foolish statements about individuals, giving fake prophecies that never come to pass, to mention but a few.

We also remember that before Prophet TB Joshua died, Marcus Tibetan was always attacking him in different ways, wishing him unfortunate happenings but none of them happened. Even in death, TB Joshua remains a global force as against Tibetan’s wishes.

Many of these men of God are far ahead of Marcus Tibetan in all ways and he can never walk in their shoes because he doesn’t have the capacity. He claims to be a prophet but cannot even list 20 of his prophecies that have come to pass since he started his fake ministry.

If Tibetan doesn’t trend for his attacks against men of God, it would be unrealistic prophecies about sports that never come to pass. Before the Qatar 2022 world cup final, Tibetan in a video confidently said France would defeat Argentina and when the prophecy failed, he defended himself by saying witches in Argentina changed the destiny of the match.

During the recently concluded AFCON 2023, Tibetan predicted that Nigeria would defeat South Africa 4-1 at the semi-final but unfortunately, the match ended 1-1 and later resulted in a penalty shoot-out.

In 2018, I remember how he said Fashola will become vice president, Tony Elumelu will be on a wheelchair, Saraki will be paralyzed, Babangida will find himself in Danger, Dogara will experience stroke, etc. but till today, none of these things have happened to these people he mentioned because he is nothing but a hungry fake prophet.

Going by some confirmed reports about Marcus Tibetan, it is obvious that he is using the prophetic title for illicit acts. Sometime last year, He was accused of a N65 million land scam by his church member, David Timileyin, whom he allegedly promised land near the recently inaugurated Dangote refinery in Lagos state.

Timilehin said he visited the land without Tibetan’s knowledge and discovered that it was not what was described to him by the prophet.

“The prophet told me the 30 plots of land were close to the Dangote refinery. But I have since discovered that the land is in the forest of Epe. It is largely an uncultivated land in the remote areas of Epe which can’t sell for more than N1 million per plot,”

Marcus Tibetan has a questionable character and his emergence into the prophetic ministry reeks of foul play; little wonder the Oluwo of Ode-irele revealed that he gave Tibetan spiritual powers during an interview session with the fake prophet’s former media aide, Dan Asabe.

I know prophets and men of God to be lifters of men, we know them to be helpers of destiny, they engage in philanthropic activities from time to time but Marcus Tibetan cannot point to five people that he has personally helped all his life. His elder brother who was a colonel had a little problem at some point but what did Tibetan do? He fled and that’s why till now, his family members don’t associate with him.

In the early days of his ministry, he secured a church in Dublin but he can’t even step into the country anymore not to talk of running the church, what happened? He was able to secure the property by swindling gullible followers and when his secrets got exposed, he lost control. Several politicians used to visit his church, important personalities used to attend his church but what about now? They don’t even want to hear his name because his format has been exposed.

Marcus Tibetan’s church has stopped growing, he doesn’t have good clothes, can’t even drive good cars because he can’t afford them. He keeps saying some prophets will be disgraced, embarrassed but that’s his present reality.

Marcus Tibetan lives off politician’s crumbs, tithes of church members, funds given to him to develop his church and proceeds from illegal businesses. If he thinks these are all lies, he should respond to this statement and swear with the holy bible that he has never received money from any politician.

There are so many secrets about Marcus Tibetan that are in the coffers, people should ask his former media aide, Dan Asabe why he stopped working for him despite their closeness. The truth is nobody has ever become successful by associating with Tibetan, he is bad luck personified.

I am always grateful that these prophets he abuses don’t even respond to his statements, they are not mates and responding to the words of a lunatic would make no sense. They have left him to wallow in his foolishness till eternity.

However, Tibetan needs to be cautioned because his bad records and secrets are available. If he continues on this path, many things will be exposed about him and at the end of the day, he may be forced to flee from the sight of men into the kingdom of animals where he belongs.

‘’If the government doesn’t do anything, we can’t keep looking at people dying of hunger without rendering the little help we can afford. It’s sad that a common commodity like bread has become unaffordable by the ordinary citizen. It has never been this bad and we can’t keep complaining, we have to do what we can do.’’

‘’Therefore, in addition to the other things I have done and still doing, I am delving into bread production in order to provide for the people at a very subsidized rate. It is not for profit making or business purposes, it’s just a venture to help people around me.’’

Therefore, his visit to the Commissioner Of Police is to foster the need for a smooth relationship between security agencies and religious organizations for a safer society.

During the visit, Primate Ayodele offered prayers and spiritual guidance to CP Adegoke Fayoade. The man of God canvassed for local policing while commending the efforts of the CP for restoring normalcy among Lagos police officers by instilling discipline and adequately punishing the bad eggs.

These are people who called themselves pastors and servants of God but had no idea what that title really meant , they were chronic liars , unruly people , thieves, and women molesters, some of the intolerable reasons they were fired and thrown out of the Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM)

One of such persons is Late David Komolafe. A born chronic liar, A man who misappropriated church funds , assaulted women , and lots more, of-course what kind of relationship would you expect to exist between enemies of progress other than tomfoolery,

In a leaked audio tape between the trio the shameless late Komolafe was heard telling disgraced FUNKE ASHEKUN and her husband stories of how he helped DK Olukoya acquire a property which was later hijacked unlawfully by the man of God. The story is a very funny one because according to our findings we came to know that back in the days it was DK Olukoya that helped Komolafe rent his first apartment at Montgomery road, Yaba the same way he assisted Funke Ashekun to get her first apartment at Fola Agoro with his civil servant salary.

In same breath Komolafe mentioned that he acquired a blue passport and when DK Olukoya saw it, he became angry and quickly canceled his reserved hotel when they traveled abroad for a ministration. It’s so unfortunate that someone who was practically helped and being fed by DK Olukoya could come up with such lies.

We were told that komolafe came to MFM with his family reeking of poverty and only survived on the resources of DK Olukoya till he was caught in the web of different atrocities.

In this voice note Komolafe stated that he was fired, but we gathered that Komolafe was NEVER fired. Multiple witnesses are still alive to testify to this . He was rather requested to go on a short retreat for some investigation to be done on some allegations on him, but he decided to split the church and break away to start his own church practically taking everything mfm with him.

In this leaked contradictory voice note, One of the most surprising of his lies in their conversation with almost-going-to-jail Funke Ashekun was that DK Olukoya placed curses on one of the altars he came to dedicate after it was acquired, he claimed that they were alone when DK Olukoya carried out the act.

It’s either Komolafe was drunk or not in his right senses to have mentioned this statement. We believe it is pure fabricated lies.

In same voice note late Komolafe said during a crusade at the church where the altar was allegedly cursed, an MFM pastor stood on it and his voice ceased as he was about to call prayer points, and went on to say that he (komolafe) took the mic charged up the atmosphere to the extent that the wife of the general overseer started manifesting in the crusade, as a matter of fact ,fell down twice, so much that she was assisted out of the auditorium, all these we can perceive to be lies from the pit of hell, for if this was true, it will be out there on the internet in a split second, and we would like anyone with such footage to come up with it for investigative purposes.

Contrary to his assertions, we gathered that Pastor Shadé Olukoya was at both August and October crusades in 2002.

As we listened further to the leaked voice note we can hear komolafe talk about shade Olukoya placing a curse on him as they chat and laugh away, but of course we can tell that komo-lie-fe was in a frenzy of evening liar-thorn and all he said was far from the truth

I remember vividly sometime last year in one of her fake and unscriptural broadcast , June 28 2003 to be precise, Funke Ashekun used the content of this leaked voice note to create content for her broadcast meanwhile constantly retorted in court that her broadcast were not about the Mountain of fire and the general overseer Dr Dk Olukoya, lies that lives with lies will always end up face down.

It is understandable to have misunderstanding with people or organizations, but to go all out of the righteous way to paint a terrible picture soaked in fabricated lies about people or an establishment is totally unacceptable. Sadly, Komolafe is dead, Who knows if this woman pushed the poor man to death by their unholy and ungodly alliance against the ministry and the man of GOD more over , Funke herself is in trouble of looking for $50,000 to pay MFM for defamation.

For over three years now, a Nigerian lady, named Funke Asekun, who recently relocated to the US, has been on Social Media, spreading all manners of falsehoods against Mountain Of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Church and her General Overseer with the sole purpose of tarnishing and damaging the reputation of the respected Man of God and that of the ministry - MFM





Being deceived by the illusion that she can hide in the US and successfully carry out the job of her paymasters to ridicule and tarnish the image of MFM and her General Overseer, she refused to heed all godly counsel for her to retrace her steps and refrain from her self-destructive mission. Thus, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (US) successfully prosecuted its claims against her which did not last for a year. The US jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Mountain of Fire USA and its three pastors, Grace Ugeh, Kunle Ladipo and Adekunle Adekola.

The case thus represents a victory for Mountain of fire and miracles ministries, its local pastors and the General Overseer. The unanimous jury also awarded to Mountain of Fire USA the sum of Fifty Thousand US Dollars ($50,000) which is the full amount of all damages it claimed in the suit. The jury found that the postings of Ms. Ashekun had defamed Mountain of Fire and shown its pastors in a false light.

Mountain of Fire’s lead counsel Gilbert Garcia said that Mountain of Fire was gratified that the jury found in favor and vindicated the position of the ministry.

As reported by major News Publications, The announcement was made by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, while reiterating that the state government will focus on completing ongoing projects across the state in the new year.



The new Lekki Epe International Airport is proposed to receive five million passengers annually and will be built on 3,500 hectares of land. The first phase of the project is estimated to cost USD 900 million.



Designed to bolster air transportation, it aims to enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and support the burgeoning industries in the area, particularly the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Seaport, and Dangote refinery. Scheduled to serve both domestic and international flights, the airport holds promise as a key hub for the region's future.

The Group Managing Director of Adron Homes and Properties; Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King has sent a New Year message to Nigerians in celebration of a successful transition to the new year 2024. In his message, the property and Real Estate mogul admonished Nigerians to continue to remain steadfast and resilient regardless of the country's economic situation. He however noted that despite the hardship; Nigeria is at a crossroads to success because of the current leadership stating that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel.

“I want to send this New Year message to all Nigerians both at home and Diaspora to ensure they are committed to Nigeria. To place Nigeria on the pedestal we want it’s our collective effort as we must always be a good ambassador of Nigeria. The government has their role to play likewise we the citizen also have our role to play in making Nigeria return to its lost glory as truly the giant of Africa. We need to rebrand Nigeria to the outside world and to do that we as Nigerians should champion it. I am aware of the hardship and the economy foot-dragging I want you all to know that to correct any wrongdoing it takes determination and time to do so and we must be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I foresee a blossoming economy and Nigeria will regain all it has lost. We all know all the strong world economies today were not built in a day it took years of hard work and determination and I am sure this current administration is committed.”

While further admonishing Nigerians to remain firm in maintaining unity and oneness regardless of the current campaign to break the country into pieces by some elements, Aare also harped on the need for all Nigerians to cooperate and collaborate and we should not allow political differences to divide us. “I also want to admonish Nigerians to stay away from any campaign to split the country into pieces. We are better and stronger as one and in Oneness we can achieve greatness. Let us endeavour we stand firm and love each other as the house that is divided against itself can’t stand. We need to be stronger than ever and also be our brother's keeper.”

“I also want to commiserate with the Government of Plateau State over the recent killings of harmless people by some unscrupulous elements who are bloodthirsty. I share in their pain and May God give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. I also want to say the security of lives and properties should not be left only to the security agencies. Securing lives and properties should henceforth be a communal effort if you see something, you should say it so we can avert future issues that will cause a breakdown of law and order. Once again I wish you all a Happy And Prosperous New Year.” He concluded.
