The man started the fire after threatening to burn the woman.. Unfortunately,he accidentally started the fire and in an attempt to rush inside and get his documents,he got severely burnt.
The incident happened in my community and he was managed at UUTH where I did my housemanship and still have colleagues working there.
The woman has been acquitted and released from police custody.

Less than 5 months of marriage,she even had a miscarriage due to beatings she received from the husband.

Meanwhile,I am a female...and I doesn't change the fact that Nigerian men do not genuinely like well to do women..They prefer to marry down because you can't CONTROL who you don't feed!
