Science/TechnologyRe: Nigerian Space Scientist Sends Egusi Seeds To Space by Perseverance127: 11:39am On Aug 02, 2025
Nonsense, this is how you people bring diseases in to the world. "Send egusi into space bring it back and plant it, maybe it will germinate something else" When it germinates that thing, make sure you eat it alone and make sure it doesn't spread.
BusinessRe: How Do I Solve This Erroneous Transaction Error? by Perseverance127: 4:41pm On Jul 23, 2025
Just restrict the recipient's account that way he can show up at the bank and can meet him to explain
Cutezt:
I initially thought about that, but I also said to myself that the mistake was from me, and it will be somehow to restrict his account for something he has no idea about. If I had contacted him and he refused to refund, that definitely would be my next line of action, but the banks refusal to help out puts me in a difficult situation. I may have to get that court order and restrict his account for something he has no idea about.

Foreign AffairsRe: Israel Was Hit Really Hard Says Trump by Perseverance127: 2:49pm On Jun 25, 2025
The fact is, Israel was focused on eliminating Iran's most intelligent scientists, which they did. While Iran was just focused on demolishing buildings, get that. Why didn't Trump say" Iran was hit hard, most of their most intelligent scientists are gone". Think about that .

If you take it within the context of the JAMB exam which is not conducted for all candidates in one day. You will realize that JAMB is right. Because there is a continuous verification process through out the Examination period. So JAMB is right to say that their verification and other processes begins every day from 6:30 am

PoliticsRe: Dangote Slashes Petrol Price To ₦‎899 Per Litre by Perseverance127: 10:25am On Dec 19, 2024
Tinubu was too fast to remove fuel subsidy. If he had waited for Dangote refinery to start working before removing subsidy the price of Petrol wouldn't have gone beyond N450 per liter. You can see that from this reduction from Dangote. He is here to make profit but he knows that N899 is still a huge price to recover the money he spent on the refinery and break-even. Tinubu did not plan well enough for Nigerians, now that the refinery is working would have been the perfect time to remove subsidy. From N200 to N450 would not have been too much.

Yes, I can still afford to eat what I desire always. I work with NGO as Young Talent below age 30 in which Cost of Living Adjustment is reviewed on our Salary as Dollar rate increases even though the review may not be equivalent to the inflation rate. Nevertheless, we still thank God as it's better than nothing. Just remaining for me to get a suitable and comfortable lady as spouse.

I understand what Nigerians are passing through, may God settle us & open more doors of better opportunities for us.

HealthThe Effect Of Mobile Phone Usage On Human Anatomy. by Perseverance127(op): 7:09am On Nov 19, 2024
What if cellphones were so powerful that they could mutate the shape of our bones. This is a surprising new topic that's recently been popping up all over the media. It stems from a scientific report that suggests using phones and tablets can cause serious and long-lasting changes to our bodies and not in a way that you might think in the past few years. A study has been carried out by David Shahar and Mark Sayers who specialized in biomechanics at Australia's University of the Sunshine Coast. Biomechanics looks at how mechanical laws apply to living organisms; from how humans run to how insects beat their wings. Shahar and Sayers study also involves osteo biography. This is used to work out what someone's life was like from their bones. It's been known for some time that skeletons adapt to a person's lifestyle. Every set of bones tells a story. For example some unusually large skeletons were found on the Pacific island of Tinian in 1924, stone structures in the vicinity of the skeletons explained the substantial nature of the islands bones, by working with heavy stones they had naturally developed bigger arms legs and collarbones, and over in Australia, Shahar and Sayers believe that modern tech is shaping young people's skeletons. So how is it doing this? It's all to do with something called...read more @ https://goodliving.systeme.io/wellbeing/the-effect-of-mobile-phone-usage-on-human-anatomy

HealthDiabetes: Achieving The Blood Sugar Balance by Perseverance127(op): 1:55pm On Nov 11, 2024
Diabetes: Achieving the Blood Sugar Balance.

There is a common ailment that has been ravaging the world, and it continues to increase year after year. This ailment is called "Diabetes".

Diabetes is a disorder that occurs when the body does not either effectively utilize the insulin produced by the pancreas (pancreas; an organ located behind the stomach) or the pancreas does not produce adequate insulin.

Now, most of the food we consume mostly ends up as sugar(glucose) which our body needs to break so it can be absorbed by our cells to produce energy. It is the "insulin" that breaks this sugar (glucose). If the sugar does not get into the cells, it stays in the blood. If the sugar in our blood is low, it is termed "hypoglycemia" if it is high, it is termed hyperglycemia. In either of the cases it is dangerous i.e both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, there has to be a balance.

Types of Diabetes (Polygenic Diabetes).

Type 1: (Insulin dependent): This occurs when the pancreas does not produce adequate Insulin needed by the body. Symptoms include;
Frequent urination (polyuria)
Frequent desire to drink water (polydipsia)
Constant hunger
Loss of weight
Change in vision and
Fatigue

Type 2: (non-Insuline dependent): This results from the body's inability to effectively utilize Insulin. The symptoms in Type 2 Diabetes are similar to those in

Type 1 Diabetes and may occur suddenly.
Gestational Diabetes: It is hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). It occurs in pregnant women, it however goes away after child delivery. Women with gestational diabetes may have complications during pregnancy and delivery. These women and their children have a high tendency of getting type 2 diabetes later in life. It is diagnosed via prenatal screening rather than through symptoms.

Prediabetes.
This occurs due to hyperglycemia, but the high blood sugar is not high enough to result to type 2 diabetes. It is actually a warning sign of type 2 diabetes. Prediabetes can exist in a person without symptoms, although there may be indications of its presence due to;
Tiredness
Frequent desire to eat
Polyuria
Inexplicable loss of weight, inspite of high food consumption and

Polydipsia
Prediabetes can be hereditary if somebody in the family line had or has diabetes. Other risk factors include, consuming foods with high sugar content, sedentary lifestyle, excessive weight. It can be reversed by adopting a healthy lifestyle by; cutting down on foods with high sugar content, and exercising or by medication from a certified doctor.

Diabetes Insipidus.
This is an uncommon condition in which large amount of urine is produced by the kidney.
