Dear nairalanders, We all aspire for better jobs as we progress in our various careers. One question that is becoming a must in today's job interview question is "why are you leaving/why did you previous job?
We all can stop working in organizations for various reasons. But I would like to know if you have ever been asked this job interview question, and how you answer it. I look forward to your answers. Mod. I will appreciate if you push this to the front page, thanks.

Jus find one big LIE for the HR! Be Emotional while looking directly to the Hr's Face!

My MD’s children came from abroad to take over the executive parts of their father’s company. And this have effect in threatening every management’s team and seems like chasing us out and bringing in their own people in the management team and so my self being the Head of Finance is affecting me too and so I think I should leave too cos some key management positions are leaving already. Example, our HR has resign last week🤷‍♂️

What can 'better' mean to/for you in that context? Fulfillment? Progression? Value system? Advancement of some sort? Work culture? Name it. Whatever it is for you, talk about it briefly while also stating why you're a good fit for the role you're interviewing for. I hope this helps. Goodluck!
