we gat basically two types of errors when using trapezoidal rule

local error ,

e = -1/12 *h^3 f' ' '(α) : x1<α<x2

&
Global error ,

e= -1/12 * n f' ' ' (α) : x1<α<xn

guess this helps

brb leme recheck the question behind.
Thanks bros I need explanation and solution because I don't know it at all the man just drop the question at the last class of d semester saying we can't treat the topic cos we ran out of time saying go and solve this with. The topic we af treated atleast this will do

IslamPicture Speak Better; Boko Haaram Leader And Some Top Officials by personal59(op): 6:06pm On Aug 27, 2015
Look at this picture taken before Boko Haram insurgency.
First on the left, was late Mohammed Yusuf- founder of Boko Haram.

Next to him Mujahideen Asari Dokubo and pastor. Ayo Oritsejefor (pardon my spelling)

This picture was taken long before the insurgency what could they be doing together?

Could it be that these three "guy" are co-founder of Boko Haram? They all seem to be very close and know one another too well too be separated from each other.

Can someone help the innocent Nigerians to unravel the misery behind this deadly sect?

We all seem to be in the dark and our government seemed not to be telling us-the Nigerians-the truth regarding the sect!

There is no error bound in question 2. huh

Question 4 looks... strange.
Usually the fourth derivative is used to calculate the error bound using Simpson's Rule, but it is required here to use the Trapezoid Rule.
Should I go ahead and use the formula for Simpson's Rule here?
Or is there something I'm missing.
AgentOfChange1, Can you help out?
Ok pls can we assume error bound for question 2 so that wen I see one with error bound I will b able to solve it the exam is tomorrow thanks bro and also the question 4 is correct that's what the question state

IslamWaec Why??? by personal59(op):
WAEC didn't make mistake to schedule October/November 2015 GCE Exams on a Sunday but did a great mistake fixing papers on Friday between 1pm and 3pm knowing fully well that the said period is for Muslims to go for Jumat Service (weekly Friday general prayer session for Muslims).

The Exam is billed to start next week. Anybody who knows how to stop WAEC from goin ahead with the decision which affects the right of Muslims to go for solat (prayer) at stipulated time (even recognized by the Federal Government) should pls tell them before some Muslim groups move to stop it with legitimate means.

Why do they always test the patience of Muslims? Why are we always at the receiving end? If a paper was fixed for church time, they would have said waec is now being islamized

Karmanaut:
5 (x-1)+3 (2 x+9)-2 = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
Solve for x:
-2+5 (x-1)+3 (2 x+9) = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
5 (x-1) = 5 x-5:
-2+5 x-5+3 (2 x+9) = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
3 (2 x+9) = 6 x+27:
6 x+27+5 x-5-2 = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
Grouping like terms, 6 x+5 x-5-2+27 = (5 x+6 x)+(-2-5+27):
(5 x+6 x)+(-2-5+27) = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
5 x+6 x = 11 x:
11 x+(-2-5+27) = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
-2-5+27 = 20:
11 x+20 = 4 (3 x-1)+2 (4 x+3)
4 (3 x-1) = 12 x-4:
11 x+20 = 12 x-4+2 (4 x+3)
2 (4 x+3) = 8 x+6:
11 x+20 = 8 x+6+12 x-4
Grouping like terms, 12 x+8 x-4+6 = (12 x+8 x)+(-4+6):
11 x+20 = (12 x+8 x)+(-4+6)
12 x+8 x = 20 x:
11 x+20 = 20 x+(-4+6)
6-4 = 2:
11 x+20 = 20 x+2
Subtract 20 x from both sides:
(11 x-20 x)+20 = (20 x-20 x)+2
11 x-20 x = -9 x:
-9 x+20 = (20 x-20 x)+2
20 x-20 x = 0:
20-9 x = 2
Subtract 20 from both sides:
(20-20)-9 x = 2-20
20-20 = 0:
-9 x = 2-20
2-20 = -18:
-9 x = -18
Divide both sides of -9 x = -18 by -9:
(-9 x)/(-9) = (-18)/(-9)
(-9)/(-9) = 1:
x = (-18)/(-9)
The gcd of -18 and -9 is -9, so (-18)/(-9) = (-9×2)/(-9×1) = (-9)/(-9)×2 = 2:
Answer: |
| x = 2
