About the prominence, yes. But don't be deceived urhobos are the majority in Warri south. And with heavy presence in patani while ndokwa east is shared with isoko people. Ughelli north alone in terms of population is as big as ukwuani and ndokwa east. Lastly itsekiris are only majority (60-40) in Warri north which is very sparsely populated, and the minority in both Warri south as mentioned earlier and Warri southwest (40-60 to the ijaws). The fact you don't know this shows you are not on ground.

Igbos are a big threat to Nigeria as a whole and every tribe are secretly against we uniting as one they are scared of total economic and political invasion and they know if igbos mistakenly leave Nigeria there might be military invasion. we igbos have a huge battle in front of us and we have to unite and stay strong and this battle is with the minority tribes surrounding us. Iate last year I had an intense argument with an elderly uroboh man who hate the fact that I affirm my igbo ness even though I am from delta state. He told me all igbos in delta state are migrant and I went hard on him by telling him that the igbos is the oldest tribe in Nigeria and we the aniomas our community are older than the oldest uroboh community in delta state. The man thought I don't know my history or maybe I am not wel grounded in my igbo history since then the man started avoiding me. If I greet him he will do as if he is deaf or respond with half greeting but I really don't give a damn.
The Benin are on the other side trying to tell we the aniomas that we are Benin 🤣🤣🤣 can u just imagine.
The Ijaws are trying hard to tell the ndokis and etches in rivers state that they are Ijaws just negodu.

my brother I saw the news and I just didn't feel anything at all I feel bad saying this but as it is right now the humanity in an average Nigeria is dieing because we see every thing in religious,tribal and political(mixed with regligion and tribal) line. lool that is the biggest lie of the century it has always been like that, I was born and raised in ogun state. One thing that I have to painstakingly admit is that the south westerners hates competition most especially within themselves talk less about a foreigner(south south, south east,north etc) I have seen case when people doing the same trade in the same street all 4rm the south west all died misteriously within a year (u know na juju). Infact to an average south westerners a "competitor == enemy" I guess this equation happens on a subconscious level in there head I just don't know why.
Now coming back to the main issue no body has disrespected the sw more than the northerner(hausa,Fulani) infact in 1999 I myself withness the sagam riot between the northerners and swesterners all because the northerners people disrespected there host during when they are doing the oro festival thing . And in Lagos over here the northerners have in several tyms had serious issues with the locals especially at the market square where even lives where lost I remember about one during obasanjo as a president but some how the south westerners don't have issues with the northerners do you know why? Simple because they are not competitive period.
Now I also noticed that an average south westerners who u might think is not a tribal bigot when he or she has lost an argument or in a serious confrontation with people from other region and when he or she is at fault the next thing dey do is to bring tribal sentiment into it. I have experienced this with an elderly man who tried to bully me at my working place in 2017 in ogun state and I stood my ground the next thing he did was to bring tribal sentiment into it(infact he clearly told me to go back to my south east 🤣🤣🤣 he neva knew I am from the south south ) the people around it noticed it and just told me to die it.
All this write up is to prove to u that the south west have always been like this but it mostly comes out when there is fierce competition(all because Peter obi came out as president) when they are boxed they result to tribal slurs, unnecessary aggression e.t.c just to cover there fear of loosing.
