cingelai: Advanced English composition has been the most challenging course under language stress. There are other challenging courses under literature stress, but it's usually caused by Lecturers method of lecturing. When I gained admission, I thought Phonetics and phonology will be the most challenging course, however, it's now one of my favourite course. Advance English composition is where you will be taught how to Proofread, edit books ,articles etc, how to write report, minutes, long essay, correct grammar, etc. |

Let tell you something that will shock you You are going to plot graph ohh,you will be taken to the lab for some practicals on Phonetics. Zeeknow3245: I would be frank with you it ain't worth it and I tell you the truth. As a man it won't feed you but I know what can feed you comfortably and make you damn fufilled. That is English educatíon. Switch your department to english education. Many people don't know the beauty of english education. My sister did educational management and she is working with the state govt to monitor schools. The other teaches phonetics and she did English education. Truth be told the best paying is literature and phonetics and I mean English phonetics not those teaching phonics and damn American English to students. Learn this and you won't regret it. Another good news is that you belong to NO school. You can work thrice a week in three different schools and remember you fit do side hustle like home lesson for student and if their parents know say you good more Referral. So, the more referral you get, the more money you get. I can bet it with you NO english education student that opt in phonetics no go regret . Pata, pata dem no pay you 35k for three different schools guy reason am ooo. When money plenty you go do Masters extra advantage. Education in integrated science ain't worth the stress except you go drop certi go work for bank and you know d wahala. So reason am na. Na women plenty for the department but more men are sort after because they can create time even if they are married. BONNE CHANCE I need your whatsapp number Or email address I have something for you |

Igolonwaanyi: I've never been jobless.
Left secondary when I was 16. I spent four years at home working as a sales girl, saving for Uni, and helping my dad out with my salary sometimes.
Entered University, started side jobs while schooling. Editing people's novels for small fee. Working as a sales girl during ASUU strike and vacation.
In my third year, I got a steady job writing for a blog daily. My start pay was 25k monthly. With that I was able to pay my outstanding school fees, textbooks and final year clearance. Luckily it was during the free education period of 2013-2019.
Graduated last year. Since then, I've not had to apply for any job. Still doing that writing job (40k now) and also handling my own blog.
Hopefully by 2021 I'd have saved enough to leave Nigeria for masters. how can I get your contact |

Ohanaeze Ndigbo to Atiku: Please don’t contest in 2023, support Igbo to produce next president Ohanaeze Ndigbo on Wednesday appealed to Atiku Abubakar, former Presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, not to contest in 2023.
Ohanaeze’s Deputy Publicity Secretary, Chuks Ibegbu in a chat with newsmen said Atiku should support Igbos in producing Nigeria’s next president, rather than contesting again.
Ibegbu was reacting to remarks by Atiku’s son, Abubakar Adamu that the former Vice President would run for Presidency again in 2023 after previously failed attempts.
Adamu, who is the Adamawa State Commissioner for Works and Energy had said: “In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades.”
Reacting, Ibegbu said Atiku was at liberty to contest for presidency in 2023.
He, however, expressed hope that Atiku will see reasons and support the Southeast in its quest to produce Nigeria’s next president.
According to Ibegbu: “We are practicing democracy and every Nigerian is free to aspire to be president of the country including me as long as they are qualified.
“However, the issue is that we are talking about fairness, equity, and justice. The North has had its fair share, the South also have had their’s, so it’s now the turn of the Igbo’s to have their fair share.
“So for justice, equity and fair play, it’s the turn of the Igbos to produce Nigeria’s president.
“My friend Isa Funtua once said Nigeria’s presidency is not turn by turn but it’s not true. Since 1956 till now it has been turn by turn, the North, Southwest, Niger Delta have had their turn now it’s the turn of Igbos.
“In as much as Atiku is free to advance his political course, but based on justice and equity, he should support the Igbos in producing Nigeria’s next president.
“We supported him in 2015, so this is the time to show statesmanship politics by supporting us.
“In case he contests but I think his conscience should direct him that it is not fair and justice enough for him to contest against us in case they are pushing him or he’s pushing himself.
“I believe Atiku will see reasons with us at the right time |
