Pls let us be wise in our thoughts, the set of politicians we have now has nothing to offer to this country. They only make promises in campaign which they can not be fulfil, in other countries is not like that. Now PDP are busy building their structure for the next election instead of thinking on how they can make this country better. Now the so called APC gladiators are thinking how they can endorse buhari for second tenor . Men! Is absolute madness in the highest order. Our politicians think of the next election not the next generations. Our political parties has failed us. All of them! No one is good among them. We need a politicians with differences. People of APC will defect to PDP and people of PDP will defect to APC just because their selfish interest has to be granted and any party that's ready to grant them their request will be the best party and they will start condemning the other political party. Nigeria problem can not be solved by any political party because all our politicians has a very wrong mindset and bad attitudes . PDP has failed us 16 years ago, so which other chance do they want us to give them. APC has also failed us now too. In fact what we need in this country is what happened in Ghana. We need revolution in this country period!. I'm a member of APC but I'm not happy with this government . Comr. Miller brown |
Even the question was idiotic and I'll motivated. In which part of the country did insecurity increase when Bokoharam has been leveled. I think she got what she deserved. As a journalist, you must learn when and. How to throw the bomb. |
:PETERSIDE BRIGHT S.T.(PUBLIC ANALYST) NIGER DELTA DEMOCRATIC YOUTHS PARLIANMENT (NDYP) One of the tenets or evidence of political maturity is the ability of disciples of politics or key players of politics in the society to decipher season for politicking and when to concentrate on governance which according Plato is basically about improving the welfare of the average masses. Past and present events in the Nigerian political landscape had empirically proven that, our political players lack political maturity. Pragmatically speaking, what makes the United States, a quintessential of modern liberal democracy is not necessarily because of the much debate, public eloquent speaking, gigantic ralleys nor extensive media concentration accorded to it. This is because, despite the above named characteristics, the masses or American publics do not determine who actually govern them, rather, the elites do so through the manipulative electoral college who through close door sheddy deals which can never be reported on telescreen of the CNN nor CBS who only carry such propagandist contents that portray the American election as that which enjoy high perfection when it is vice versa. However, the area of advantage seem to lie on the very act of knowing how to stop politicking after election and concentrate on apt honest governance. In order words, they understand political season. The season for high heated politicking and season for governance. This is unlike Nigeria system in which political office holders embark on 95percent politicking and 5percent governance even after electioneering. This must be addressed through political value re-orientation and a remoulding of political characters and culture. We must stop politicking with governance. This is imperative because because a man who fails to identify and acknowledge seasons will certainly miss the time for harvest. This lack of political immaturity play out on daily basis in many ways ranging from public personality verbal attack, character assassination, name calling, glittery generalities among others. It is also worthy of note to say that, this trend of political abusiveness orchestrated by the absence of political maturity is gradually being handed over to the younger political generation in Nigeria.Currently, statistics has it that among young Nigerians,3 out of every 5 comments on socio-economic cum political issues on both the social media and interpersonal facial communications is violent and insultive riddled with war of words.Just recently, a sitting Governor of a State openly threaten to stop the phase two of a project should the populace in that area failed to vote his political party in an election. And, my rational critical and innocuous question is; Is devidence of democracy through governance now to be predetermined by political affiliation. We must do the right thing if we must progress in all facet of our national life as a nation. |
