Drfresh0909: when will our leaders stop this kind of lies and deception.Every day money is approved and noting is shown for it.I wish God can just end this country called Nigeria.I was discussing with a Ghanian,Nigel man they told me that they have a steady light more than Nigeria i began to shared tears,Who ever in this country that is standing on our progress causing unemployment due to politics shall live to regret his life and that of their family in jesus name amen.I stayed in kwale Delta state where Agip build an independent power plant(IPP) to give 18 states light but we are complaining of no electricity but the plant is running every day but we don't have electricity.Believe me all the money they are approving is a scam they are all thief and they will die one by one.Obasanjo said Gej is training snipers we shouted him down ok let me ask you if the $9.3 million for arms is truly for national use and not for his snipers how come the SA govt is not aware.Guys Gej is a thief if you like vote for him.let me ask you what about the money removed from subsidy? have they created employment.we are saying unemployment are people not retiring.guys Nigeria is a country the more you look the less you see.I'm glad you attested to the fact that agip plant runs everyday yet no electricity. Gencos busy doing their work while the DISCOs are misbehaving. Bad infrastructures inherited from PHCN is the usual excuse they give. When they were bidding for the DISCOs, greed didn't let them carry out proper checks before acquiring the already dead distribution companies. Now government to the rescue. So who will help the generating companies who are generating below actual capacity? maybe FG again Mstcheew.. Abi them too no inherit some bad infrastructures? Excuses everywhere for performing below standard, nobody wants to take responsibility. Both FG, GENCOS AND DISCOS, NGC, NCC, NERC ETC... Are in this mess together. Corruption has kept us where we are today. If all the monies realized while doing gas and electricity business from neighboring countries has been utilized effectively in our power sector, we won't have all this stories today. With all they claim to have invested, yet nothing to show for it. Bad gas turbines, terrible transmission cables, shortage of gas supply etc... And the list goes on. Even when government releases this money nko, fellow Nigerians, Yes! Someone like you and me who complain that government is not doing enough, finds a way to siphon this money saying make me sef chop from the National cake. God will expose all of them. I hope things will get better someday. |
All the best to everyone writing tomorrow. I won't be taking the test anymore as God blessed me with a very good offer last week. I wish my invite could be transferred to another person... Lol. But it is well, we'll hear great testimonies after the test and many here will be employed in Jesus name. Amen. |

bakynes: I know we supply electricity to Benin and Togo coz a church member is a top former PHCN official and people from Benin and Togo usually call him to complain they should have turned on the power switch for them. The truth is our government needs to stop supply of gas to Ghana and other west African countries at subsidized rate and satisfy us first before our neighbors. Let them go and fend for themselves it's high time we stop these supplies to our ungrateful kid sister called Ghana.I recently took up an appointment with one of the power plants in Nigeria, and I work in the operation unit. If you are privy to the information about why we supply electricity to niger etc.. Then you will rather thank our government for going into negotiations with them rather than allowing them have thier power plant built-up on the same dam that supplies water to our hydro power plants. Now to the gas issue, there is an industrial strike action going on, even the Nigerian gas company has cut off gas supply to all plants using gas and this has resulted to the shutting down of most gas plants nationwide. The few currently operating are those who use hydro and steam and maybe for some gas plants as in the case of agip who produces thier own gas and also supply to some others. I just pray the strike would be called off, and we can be back to generating electricity. All these Ghana - Nigeria fight about helping them with gas supply is purely business and so such should not be used to ridicule them. |
Something is seriously wrong with this workforce people. What kind of recruitment exercise is this? Date moved to the 20th. |

- The verdict is due in the murder trail against Oscar Pistorius. - The Olympic sprinter is accused of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius isn't denying that he shot her, but claims it was an accident. - In addition to the murder charge, Pistorius is also facing three gun-related charges. - How we got here - Read below to see how the trial has unfolded so far. a few seconds ago Masipa now refers to ex-girlfriend Samantha Taylor's evidence that when Pistorius screams it sounds like a man, not a woman. Masipa points out that Taylor admitted she'd never heard Pistorius scream in a life or death situation. emily.smith 2 minutes ago Masipa periodically refers to case law during her verdict explanation. 3 minutes ago Masipa says the distance between the Burger/Johnson house and the Pistorius house makes it easy to see why they were wrong about the gunshot/cricket bat sounds. emily.smith 5 minutes ago Masipa doesn't think that the neighbors (a couple) were dishonest in giving their statements. The defense had accused them of making suspiciously similar statements. emily.smith 6 minutes ago Masipa says it's correct to criticize this witnesses' testimony as unreliable. emily.smith 7 minutes ago Masipa says it's significant that one of the neighbors refused to concede that she could've missed the second set of sounds. emily.smith 7 minutes ago Masipa says some of the witnesses missed some of the sounds that morning. emily.smith 8 minutes ago She says some of the sounds interpreted by witnesses as gunshots were actually the cricket bat sounds. emily.smith 9 minutes ago Masipa is discussing the gunshots, the sound of the cricket bat hitting the door, and the screams. emily.smith 10 minutes ago From inside the courtroom: RAGreeneCNN @RAGreeneCNN #OscarPistorius looked to be fighting back tears as Masipa describes his defense... and now he is weeping. Sep. 11, 2014ReplyRetweetFavorite emily.smith 11 minutes ago It sounds like Masipa is dealing with the murder charge first. emily.smith 11 minutes ago Masipa says these issues are now irrelevant. emily.smith 12 minutes ago Issues at hand according to Masipa: -Did police contaminate the scene? -The length of the extension chord removed from the scene? -The authenticity of photographs taken at the scene emily.smith 13 minutes ago Masipa says the court has taken evidence and counsel submissions into consideration in determining her verdict. emily.smith 13 minutes ago Masipa says she's not going to "rehash the evidence in detail" emily.smith 13 minutes ago Masipa now deals with the "issues" emily.smith 14 minutes ago Some of the common cause facts read in court: -Steenkamp was shot three times -Pistorius used a cricket bat to break down the door -Pistorius was very emotional shortly after the incident and tried to resuscitate the deceased. emily.smith 15 minutes ago Masipa moves on to common case facts for the murder charge - these are facts which aren't disputed. emily.smith 16 minutes ago Pistorius' brow furrows as Masipa reads his explanation of events - that he believed an intruder had broken into the house. emily.smith 18 minutes ago It's still not clear if Masipa will deliver the verdict for the gun charges first or the murder charge. emily.smith 19 minutes ago Masipa recounts witness testimony from neighbors. One neighbor said she heard hearing a man and woman argue, followed by gunshots. emily.smith 20 minutes ago Masipa now reads a summary of the state's case. emily.smith 20 minutes ago Emily Smith @EmilySmithCNN Steenkamp family and friends in court today http:///iyKtLqWQnB Sep. 11, 2014ReplyRetweetFavorite emily.smith Share 21 minutes ago |
