I use a 2007 Camry. I spend about ₦15,000 to ₦20,000 on fuel per week. It costs ₦20,000 if I run the A/C throughout, and ₦15,000 without A/C. Office is at ACME, while I live around end of Olaniyi str in Abule-Egba, about 30 to 35-minute drive. I think my fuel consumption is fair, isn't it? |
Fair! One of the maxims of equity starts that he who seek equity must come with clear hands. Those are kind of information you want to disclose to your partner before getting married. Chilipepper: |
Were you supposed to use your phone in the factory? It clearly states that phones are not allowed in the factory, not in the company premises, If you are outside the factory on a break, then you can use your phone. At least, that’s how I interpret it. Emphasis on "in the factory" was made 3 times. MOPDEEP: |

[quote author=NwaAmaikpe post=135462615] You said a lot!!! And thank you for your wisdom. However, the truth is that not all these women cheat or have extramarital affairs. |
My take may be brash, but it is a genuine risk assessment offered freely. If you had read it with an open mind and clear comprehension, you would have seen that. But I agree with you, we all have different degrees of risk appetite. However, the point is simple: scaling a business in Nigeria is no child’s play. Let’s assume the business survives for two years, will you be able to withdraw the borrowed amount from the business while it still sustains itself and continues to thrive? Or do you intend to start repayment after 24 months on an installment basis? That would be wild, but with you, nothing is impossible. So I wish you well. To set up a Nylon making business, I don’t know the exact cost, but I believe it should be relatively low on an SME scale. You may want to look into that. Ire ooo. |
They are more than thief. I mean, we are talking about 7 hundred and 53 Mansions worth of public. Imagine his embezzlement that are not yet seen till date. |

Use some of the loan money to buy Sniper and keep it by the side! You might need it after six months or one year! Here’s the reality: no business will yield returns that can match the interest rates on those loans. Planning to default is another unwise move! Na your family go later repay that money, after compound interest has done its damage over two years of default plus the possibility that frustration go don unlive you by then. Here’s what will likely be your reality after those two years: no job, no business, heavy debt, and constant calls and messages from the loan company every five minutes raining curses on you and your entire generation. But at least you go still have the Sniper if you listened and bought it now. Ire ooo! We love you, but you ehn... when we meet again, we go sing, “No, no!!” 😄😄😄😄 |
I was in Côte d'Ivoire for a few weeks this month my second visit in less than one year and this is my observation. Their police officers, who also serve as traffic wardens, typically use whistles. A few others, very few, use power bikes and carry pistol guns. I have never seen AK-47 rifles on the streets in that country, never! Even vehicles transporting cash had no visible armed escorts. This absence of heavy weaponry is reflected in the behavior of the people and the atmosphere of the society, very calm and law-abiding. When the police create an impression that we are at war, it becomes difficult for people to trust them. This friction breeds tension, and that tension spreads across the society. It’s reverse psychology: you want to control crime by placing unsupervised, frustrated, poorly-paid individuals on the streets with AK-47s. What you get is more crime, not less. The Nigerian police must be reformed. We are not at war. No more AK-47s on our streets!. It is possible to have special units that tackle organized and violent crimes, who will work discreetly and strategically behind the scenes to nip crime at its bud. Where criminals do not know who is watching or when, communities become more engaged, and the level of tension and killings on our streets will reduce. Ultimately, this will even lower costs and deliver better results. |
I did the small math. 500,000 orders in 2 - 3year. I assume that both business runs from Sunday to Sunday. And to 2 - 3 year = 2 and a half year. (365 days*2)+183 days= 913 days. 500,000/913 days = 547/day orders. The question is: Does this food vendor have multiple outlets in several states? Because receiving over 500 orders a day from a single platform is a lot. |
For example, central Nigeria produces more rice than it consumes; the surplus is transported to the north and south of the country.” what state in central Nigeria produce more rice than it consumes!! this is just number games. Un-substantive report. |

You didn’t send them there their political parties did. And most times, you and I or the constituents at the grassroots have little or no say in the party’s decisions. The level of damage political parties contribute to this madness is unquantifiable. Don’t say “but it’s people that make up the party.” What kind of people? Thieves and political prostitutes. If you dwell too much on Nigeria’s problems, you’ll end up battling migraines from high blood pressure. |

There’s this guy Shank on Twitter. He started by posting comic stories like this, and before we knew it, he had racked up a lot of followers. He then transitioned into skit making (though that’s when I lost interest), but he was able to carve a niche for himself. He’s on the twitter influencers now! There are so many platforms you can use to amplify your writing skills if you have genuine interest and talent. With time, you too self go become a celebrity. |
If you continue writing like this, using the right tools and targeting the right audience, One day, You will not only kill poverty, you will get the love of your live "money" and she will come with all her loads to your bosom. Not a one night stand! |

Lack of parental support is the only explanation that makes sense to me for this outcome. Many Nigerian parents can be abusive and tormenting under the guise of 'I just want the best for you.' It's probably a good thing he passed on early (please pardon my insensitivity), because I can only imagine what might have happened if he had graduated and couldn't find a job within 2 years or lost a job while under family pressure. In this life, we were not just meant to win. In fact, we will lose our lives to leave it. Our only true comfort is the redemption of our souls. |

You've allowed agent of darkness into your space. Not the gecko but the woman or whatever spirit working inside her. The mission is simple. Induce fear! And your defence will be fragile. Kill the gecko if it will give you peace but more than that, you need to renew your mind to disparate fear. Nothing good can come out of fear. |
