Good workrate from the commissioner so far. Anyone to turn around the sanity, civility and conducts of hotheaded people like the Lagosians for good wouldn't mind to be so unpopular to get the job done. There will always be critics but never mind their noise. The LAGOS of our dream must be achieved whether haters like or loathe.

Christistruth00: The Evidence is even abundant It is Propaganda that the evidence is speculation
Go and read the British Declassified Intelligence Files
Do you know that Gen Ironsi gave Major David Ejoor deputy at the Enugu Battalion orders to take over the Battalion because David Ejoor would not be returning to his post as it's commander?
It was only later in the morning that Gen Ironsi discovered that Ejoor was still alive only because he had slept in a different Hotel room from the one the Army had booked him in that same hotel
When Ejoor went to check his previous hotel room later it was Riddled with Bullets
The Coup plotters thought they had killed David Ejoor meanwhile he was fast asleep in a different Hotel room
Gen Ironsi was drinking Tea and Biscuits when major Ejoor walked into his office unscathed Gen Ironsi couldn't conceal his shock on seeing him
Moral of the Story: Fear God Always
https://thedefenderngr.com/igbo-soldiers-plotted-coup-from-independence-day-general-david-ejoor/ THE more this people try to rewrite history, the more every one else should call out the atrocities of their forefathers with facts TILL THE YOUNGER GENERATION GETS FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE EVIL THEIR KINSMEN STARTED THAT DROVE US TO THE POINT WE'RE NOW. Kudos on your explicit reply. The new generation need to know the real truth, not their propaganda. |

LAGOS already has plans for cable cars since FASHOLA administration but with other means of transportation still being incorporated into the system, that can and must wait. chrisblack: how do you judge or determine such.some so called reports you referred to as defamatory might be the truth. IFsuch is truth, it has to be proven. An information provided must have a source and unless someone's being mischievous, the journalist knows whether a source is renowned, reliable, legit and factual or not. A report raised from nowhere renowned would only get the reporter into troubles BECAUSE IN THE COURT OF LAW, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DEFEND YOUR INFORMATION BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. |

franchasofficia: Nobody is calling for a fight between North and Southwest, all we are saying is that you Yorubas should stop being hypocrites. Stop hating Igbos unjustly.
The way Yorubas reacted to this incident like it's a normal thing, just assume Igbo traders did this to a Yoruba man in Lagos, be sincere, is this how Yorubas would have reacted? Even here on Nairaland, Yorubas would have created one million threads calling Igbos every unprintable names and threatening fire and brimstone on Igbos for daring to kill a Yoruba man in Yoruba land.
Yorubas would have started issuing threats for Igbos to leave Lagos and even inciting Lagos state government to do something about Igbos trying to take over Lagos from Yorubas, is it true or false?
You guys should stop being hypocrites and wicked towards peace loving Igbos that have never done Yorubas any harm other than Igbos for the first time coming together to support their qualified son to become President after over 50 years, that was the greatest crime Igbos committed against Yorubas that made you people to Roll out drums and weapons of war against a peace loving Igbos, it is well. Make una rara oh What you're on at is still an incite How many riots, war have the Yoruba wage against the Igbos? And it doesn't mean no Igbo indigene had killed a Yoruba one before? Clifford Orji, back in the days, had numerous victims (many of YORUBA origin) he killed under the Oshodi bridge but the authority dealt with him alone when caught. And could you remind me of one that degenerated to killings. Even the HAUSA-YORUBA ethnic fight is common in the SW than involving other tribes, so what's your point? Or is your point the demolition that affect everyone on an illegal space? If that's your point, then admonish your kins to always follow the right protocol. Some others like them elsewhere are enjoying their peace because they dot all “i” and crossed all “t”. Simple. |

Defamatory reports set to unjustly attack and condemn certain or selected persons as well as inciteful propaganda should be punishable by heavy jail term everywhere in the world but report of mismanagement, illegality, impersonification, dictatorship, embezzlement, and/or non-inciteful opposition should be liberal and allowed. |

Even though the police were on illegal duty, the act of the bikers against the lying dead body was unjustifiable and unacceptable. In fact, they have to be fished out and punished as well. Moreover, what's OKADA still doing on our roads after being banned? Some government officials are surely failing in their duties while some others are taking undue advantage of the lapses to enrich their pockets. In the end, such negligence and exploitation would always come,to a sad point like this, unfortunately. |
