Can anyone recommend a Canadian Uni or College that doesn't require your school sending your transcript.

My nephew graduated from Uniben and they made him lose his admission Newfoundland last year due to their inability to send his transvript Despite several requests. Though he has the soft copy and also a sealed copy he got from the exams and records unit.

Can someone recommend a uni or college that accepts the sealed transcript as substitute for his uni sending a copy

Uniben did not made your nephew lose his admission your nephew lost the admission because he did not act ahead due to inexperience. Next time he can request for the official transcripts to be sent directly to his host University and ask his alma mater staffs that he want it to get to Canada quickly.

As per school that waive official transcripts you can check it yourself in the school admission requirements for international students (Google list of accredited institutions in Canada). Bcareful of schools with the most easier and faster admission decision because they may be sham which will affect your study permit.

The offer is comprehensive and the repayment is well spelt out (more than Mpower loans that most people are used to).

The applicant is also advised to explain how he plans to repay the loan, this is where we encourage applicants to have a parent to provide additional support and documents.

If everything is OK, you can get an approval, if not the application is denied and the equity paid is refunded.

I understand that IRCC may frown at using a loan for studies, but the reason I am taking time to contribute to this topic is to let people know that there are other options other than going to POF people to borrow lump sum deposits the will be flagged by IRCC and denied after you have paid interest for 3-4 months for nothing.

It is worth trying.

Taking a loan (MPOWER or whatever loan) as part or major POF is an automatic red flag on your study permit application because it means that you or your parents or guidian are not financially capable to carry the burden alone.

When MPOWER was first introduced ( U.S F1 visa as a case study ) the loan repayment was the major cause of students dropping out of school and dropping out of school as an international student makes you an overstayer then illegal resident .

The few people that got visas through loans were those who were able to show near-future verified money deals , monetary inheritances, profits or gains from already sold assets etc. So in summary taking any form of loan as a POF no matter how guaranteed the repayment is a bad omen.

Its no more possible since late 2024. If you do that you will have to apply for new study permit. If you can get admission for both why not use your wisdom and get the admission for only the health-care diploma ?

It COULD be possible to gain admission from accounting to healthcare because most schools are after your money and don't even care about your qualifications.

Your major concern should be if the transitioning would make sense in the ears of the visa officer. Schools can give you admission but the people you can allow you entry into Canada should be more of concern here.

If you know how you can explain to the visa officer and it makes sense in their ears then go ahead. The only way I see them give you study permit is if what you are currently doing is somewhat related to health.

Good luck. No harm in trying.

PS: If you make deeper research you will appreciate that accounting you are trying to ditch for health.

Abel Abdul how come you quickly become an admission Counselor? How come you quickly know about this subjects ? I thought you just got admitted yourself and your temporary travel visa is just being granted ? If you are not a travel agent you should only discuss only the course of study you were given admission to study and the exact ways you processed your study visa. Stop dabbling into every topic because that is the characteristics of visa agent or visa Counselor.

I do not know any school that gives admission in 24hrs. But from my personal experience, I had a school that gave me admission in less that 3 days. I would not say that is their pattern I would say it was my luck. Let me check my email and get the name of the schools that gave me admission within one week. I will get back to you.

Most government accredited institution with the right authority to admit foreign students in Canada will not give you admissions in 24hrs or 1 week. Most schools that does that are the schools founded by Chinese or Indian or Arab billionaires for visa racket to bring their allies to Canada. That is why you keep asking why is my study permit or entry is being denied.

How can a school give an Msc or Bsc admission within 1 week ? You were even given the exact timeframe for traveling when you have not even left Nigeria. Stop confusing people with Ai answers. We need practical experiences.

Google Universities in the U.S and start sending enquiry email to the graduate admissions office in your department. Explain your over all cgpa, work experiences and other educational feats you possessed that will interest such departments or a possible professor.

How to go about the admission is not hard if you can start this thread from the earlier pages.

U.S. schools are flexible and accessible. They will reply you.

Dont mind @Abel Abdul. Check it his own is the quickest and that shows you the scam red-flag. He knows that people re eager to get response once they start their visa application.

Its also a general awareness that If you completed your biometrics at the VFS Global Canada in Lagos or Abuja, your POE letter will typically be processed through regional visa offices in Accra (which handles many West African applications) or Kenya and routed directly to your online account or sent via email. So dont mind him by claiming he got his from Ghana as if its a special preferences.

Abel Abdul is a commercial bus driver in Portharcourt and he is sitting inside his bus right now. He works with travel agents and usually lures innocent people to them. He has been posting 3rd party documents and he will soon be nab.

You will eventually be scammed. That boy is a commercial bus driver in portharcourt. Every update he has been posted is a targettted coy to be contacted. He never got an admission not to talk of visa.

Call your admission Counselor they will arrange pick up or give you an expert who will guide you from your door step to Canada.

Yes its normal either way round. Your son may not need biometrics depend on his age. Besides, they need time to do background checks on both of you. So your applications is being work on.

It was not compulsory before but since last year (2025) it has been highly recommended because no foreign student traveling to Canada with the hope of receiving study permit entry from ircc at the Canada POE is guaranteed the entry.

Booking a return flight ticket as a first time traveller makes the ircc official at the POE rate you as a genuine, financial capable and responsible international student.

Support funds from lions club, RCCG Ikoyi Edu donation, UNN alumni edu-support money, Kings college donation for Mr Monday's UC Berkeley tuition, DHL 24- months leave of absence part payment , etc.

US/Canada embassies will thoroughly verify your bank statements. Be warned.

Do your M.Ed in any Nigerian federal or state University , try hard to patch up your lower cgpa in undergraduate and most importantly you must work and volunteer with professors.

Upon graduation you can then go for Phd in Education which is hot cake in Canada and most countries of the world. It may seem longer but this is your best route. With good cgpa and recommendations from professors and work history you can get full funding on your Phd and the future is always bright for professors either in academia or industrial research.

IRCC can reach them with all their available means thats not a problem. Ask grey if they have being doing it for student visa applicants especially from Africa and if they say affirmative then go ahead. If their explanation is not straight forward then use your local account but i believe they should be honest with you in order to avoid litigation.

The original asker said he or she did not see any lodgement narrative in the copy of the statement so its a dicey situation and that was why i refered him/her to the bank. Its a simple logic and if you feel that the op can use it then you have to answer him/her directly. A teacher does not correct another teacher openly (form of disrespect) except if such teacher is teaching in an obviously a wrong way.

After I pay my tuition in full and I do a GIC for the max amount, will a Grey.co stamped statement with an official supporting letter addressed to IRCC confirming my account status, balances, and Grey's regulatory standing work? Including my Nigerian bank accounts statements?

Yes I am familiar with grey. It is legally registered with Canada Fintrac and even in the United States therefore it should be able to provide the service and the probability of it acceptance by ircc is high.

However, I will advise you to contact grey customer support team for accurate information. Grey seems to charge higher commission and their apps have some negative comments but they re legally and internationally registered.

This is what the mybankstatement ticket looks like, if your bank send/generate this for you, you are good to go. You can attach it as bank statement with other supporting documents.

All commercial banks except Standard Chartered bank can generate mybankstatement ticket for you.

I have 6 bank accounts including OpaY and domiciliary therefore dont lecture me about how banking procedures work. Go and reply to the original asker.

I answered the op in a very easy way because some asker does not know how to elaborate so when he gets to his or her bank they would naturally enlight him or her. You re suposed to go and enlight the asker not me. Thank you sir. If i have any banking teaser i will call my account officers.

Stop looking for fault and join me in enlighten others. We re not doing competition. Go and reply the op who asked the question.

Yes you can drop it off in-person but you must tender the passport request letter given to you by ircc. They dont need appointment.
