Tinubu has seen the data that we have all seen. He has no pathway to re-election through the ballots. He should just cut to the chase and declare himself president. The fear and trepidation is palpable and moves like this only end up putting off his genuine supporters and demoralising even his hard-core tribal fanatics.

For me, the us the best thing to do ensure politics and political class always do the right things. I love this government for bold moves that will make politicians to respect the electorate once they know that the constitution is very rich and can be used against them anytime.

Where will Tinubu's votes come from? In 2023, he got defeated by Obi in the South, winning only 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states. He became president because of the 5.6m Northern votes. Atiku has barely lost a voter from his 6.9m votes in 2023 but he has made huge incursions into the North with the demise of Buhari and Tinubu's betrayal of the Northern allies that helped him to galvanise votes.

But always remember that 1+1 in politics is never equal to 2, it's always equals to the latest demographic facts. Wining only 4 does not mean he will not win 17 as if today. Tinubu case is like a saint devil that meant well for the masses and Nigerians in a hard way. So he will still be better than others with nothing to show as results.

I just they wonder if any of the previous presidents or present other candidates can ever achieved a bold decision like
1. Removal of fuel and naira subsidy with all the hardships that follows
2. New tax law to replace that of 1960
3.Local government autonomy for the grassroots leadership.
4. state police
5.6 geopolitical zones of development commission
6. Massive projects in roads and others well visible for all to feel

Insecurity and Power are issues since decades. But they will be overcome with time when corruption and hunger for money by all means by individuals are addressed.
