He is right.

Same Obidients love to call Tinubu names.

Hypocrites that can't take 1/4th of what they dish out to others.

Even at that, onanuga is a yoruba man and he is just jokingly referring to bitter kola. Obi means kola in yoruba. He combines bitter & obi means the obi wey bitter. But also sounds along Peter obi bitterness towards the loss of election. It will be a good thing for the name to stay.

Data doesn't lie.

The south-east is and will always remain the most detribalized ethnic group in Nigeria.

It is the only geopolitical zone in this country that votes based on the competence and capacity of the candidate to perform rather than the ethnic background of the candidate.

The 2023 election is the only time the South East voted overwhelmingly for a candidate from their geopolitical zone, not because he is from the South East but because he was the best candidate in that election.

Lolz, and the other parts of Nigeria then voted Tinubu because he is the one with courage and capacity to face Nigeria challenges and resolve them for prosperity. During Obasanjo days, east was PDP and they voted Thier party so what big deal? Moreso those outside the zone don't vote, na so so to make mouth they know. I remembered some of them in my area will open one door of Thier shops on election day.

These are serious questions. Umahi may end up in a serious mess after the tenure of Tinubu.

These are no questions at all, rufai is doing what he was paid for as his kind of journalist. Can you see that Landmark can not go to court for junction to stop the demolition? Why, because he will explain tire, nothing is permanent, when you are building you shld know the Law, like people building now under the high tension, when Thier time comes the y will go and tell rufai to help them shout abi? Loosing properties or businesses for Legal actions is never a big deal. Did rufai know that people loose jobs when banks merged? Or when a contract on projects were terminated? So what is landmark. Come to seme badagry axis we all aware that we should not fix and substantial structures 15M minimum to the sea. Na only him do business along the corridor or he never paid complete the borrowed money? That was how past governments refused to take on any bigger projects but they pocket the money via SPVs.

Leadership is not taking advantage of hungry and jobless young men and women and hiring them to litter the public space with fake news and non existing things.
Leadership is not travelling from pillar to post Wasting tax payers money in the name of begging for investors while the once who have been around for decades and centuries are running away.

Leadership is carefully prioritizing the needs of a nation and people and solving them according to their order of priorty.

Leadership is peter obi

Lolz, Obi maximum level shld be a Local government chairman. The way he reasons as well as the types and quality of the projects he has ever handled. Nigerian state is far bigger than this kind of a man. He was not too known then among his co governor's because he was not a creative governor with excellent performance.

The biggest tool of APC is tribalism (divide and rule). Engage an APC minion in a conversation or debate, he will call you a tribalistic person who hates the progress of the country because he has nothing to say.

They've used that tool so well in Lagos to win guber elections and have brought it to national politics. It is a shame that Umahi who joined APC yesterday has adopted this same strategy.

Truth is better, obi should not say what he knows nothing about, the question is did obi demolished people businesses and houses when he was in power? If yes, why crying. Nigerians knows obi well now already, so he shld continue only talking what he can't do.

I really like your jokes, I said it b4, Tinubu is the only Political National godfather. A Godfather to the godfathers. The strategy and calculations has already being done & completed at Burdillon ikoyi. Tinubu keeps to agreements and the reason all politicians following him. For 2027, he only needs to pulled 1 strongest politicians from other parties from each zones to support him, he will surely achieve that. Obi ke? Someone without a party that he can call his own? Watch how the north will vote massively for jagaban in 2027. Am so confident el rufai is working for him. Go and ask Ambode or Aregbesola how successful was there stubbornness. Tinubu said he will bury PDP and unfortunately PDP is allowing him since they have no single party strong holder to unite the party. I love Tinubu system and far thinking. He created the Title of National Leader of APC solely for him to keep the party intact and reconciliation. Buhari can not take over the role because he is not a rugged politician. After Tinubu 8years, he will appoint another national leader or he himself takes the position to remain relevant after presidency. No single other part has a national unifier since all of jumps up and down only for tickets.

Peter Obi is right as always.

We love you PO, always on point.

Huummm, I always asked myself why we can't reason same way? Some people thinks far while some thinks immediate. At primary secondary and university, why do we have some people as the last and some at the first in same exam? It's simply ones reasoning level as at that that time and if care is not taken, for life. Now, I still maintained, obi as third class can never reason as first class. He has held many post in life but nothing special was achieved during is time in those offices even while at Tincan Island, board or government house. I wonder what the followers are imagining about him. They should let us know his past critical problems solved into the future.but If none, forget it, no story.

Anambra, rivers and other states have being demolishing people businesses but it's right, why this is not right. Ok let's ask this question, Are we saying FG should stop building coastal highway because of someone business? Moreso, obi lack knowledge and vision, the Internal roads are not ok because there was no costal roads. If u know the importance of ring roads, that's the junior brother to coastal roads of a nation. Truck and tankers can move a very long kilometers on coastal roads without causing issues or pressure within the state roads.

Huumm, really? Anyway I can only thank God we have a visionary leader as president for the first time in Nigeria. It's not how far but how well. The 3 of them had 8 years each in the past to write Thier names to the future. Thier records are clear. Today is the future. Unfortunately, anyone lesser than 20years as of 1999 will find it difficult to understand Thier performance levels from the past to the present future. Tinubu is not a joke from 1999.
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Vehemently Condemns Lagos-Calabar Highway As A Misplaced Priority by phemray(m): 5:07pm On Apr 30
emkz:

If anyone from the Niger-Delta comes across the thread, please remember that some of you voted for Peter Obi. Peter Obi has demonstrated he is against the progress of the Niger Delta communities. The bulk of the funds for running our economy comes from the Niger Delta. But he says a big project to criss-cross the Niger Delta is a misplaced priority.

Note that the US spent their way out of recession through the New Deal which focused on massive infrastructural development across board, including roads. There is no nation interested in progress that is currently not engaged in one form of infrastructural development or the other. But the one which is 60 years old overdue in Nigeria, Peter Obi is fighting it, simply because he lost election.

If he didn't build anything meaningful in Anambra, I think it is disingenuous to fight against something being built through the Niger Delta. Thanks to Tinubu's ingenuity, Lagos is undergoing massive infrastructural development and embarking on an audacious railway project which the likes of Rufai Oseni would condemn.

Peter Obi doesn't want the progress for the Niger Delta. He just wants to get the votes and use anti-developmental and archaic ideas to ruin this country completely.

Only vote for those who want progress to be in your land. With this tweet, Peter Obi has shown he is not interested in that.

As for the Landmark CEO who has been all over the place making noise, can he show us documents where the shorelines and beaches in his location were ceded to him? If he violated the right of way, it is evil for him to complain. The best thing to do was to meet and find ways to relocate his business or shift to an area where the coastal highway won't pass. When I travelled through Accra-Cape Coast highway, part of which was adjacent to the ocean, it was a beautiful sight with the blue waters! Guess what? Beaches still functioned!!

Just to add, a road network is also a delight for businesses. Food can easily be transported from rural areas to urban centers and those in rural communities would make good money.

But Peter Obi does not want this.

Correct 💯
You have made very valid points and obi just showed the whole world that he is a boy in suffisticated essential projects. This makes Tinubu the only and best candidate among them in service delivery. Imagine the benefit of coastal super highway to Nigeria in future. I remembered when dangote refinery was to be constructed, it was a lot of pains to the community relocations and business affected, Tinubu was tagged different bad names to have sold the future to a northerner among several people insulted. Today, those people have buried their faces in shame. 8yrs after Imagine the refinery benefits to the community and entire country? It's simply visionary.

Can bet you that had Arewa, Oduduwa and Biafra been independent countries in their own right, the bigoted and daft fools that helped enable the incompetent and power-hungry likes of Buhari and Tinubu would have chosen wisely who they want to be their president! Why we see this shit happening in Nigeria today is because these idiots are of the firm belief they can enable any fool to be president for selfish and ethno-religious reasons, and be insulated from the consequences of their idiocy by ‘one Nigeria’ and the seemingly inexhaustible supply of loans and oyel/gas money! This is why they’re so two-faced and hypocritical to despise certain groups yet still shout ‘one Nigeria’ the loudest!

Sentiment apart, if every zone is independent it would have been the best competition for others to come and learn administrative and productive skills. whatever you can't do as a governor can never be done at the federal level. A particular zone can never ever survive on their own except they move out to other people zone, that is destiny. Being independent would have shown us strength and weaknesses of every zones.
