Business / Re: Konga Using Merchant Money For Business. by phew09(f): 8:35pm On Nov 09, 2014
personally, I feel konga is not for small scale merchants. The space(from delivery-confirmation from buyer-7days return policy period-3days payout) it takes for konga to credit merchants account after a successful sale can be frustrating for merchants that need the money for continuity.
when it takes close to a month or thereabout to receive payment for an item sold, how long will the small scale merchant cope?

so far the only ish i have now is that the 3 days payout has even taken one week in my case and my account hasn't been credit.
Aside that, Its still a good platform especially with the nationwide delivery service. I have sold much more than I ever sold on other sites that allow seller freedom to control the transaction.

bigtt76: My stand here is clear
1. Bishop should not make it look as if everyone has the money to attend a private university but choose not to and rather spend on frivolities.

2. All church and private Universities and unaffordable to the poor should be made affordable. Some students cannot afford 150k as school fees. Such students should be identified and assisted.

3. People should realize that the poor who make up the majority remains a risk to the rich few if not adequately taken care of. Boko Haram members are not kids born with silver spoon ...they were recruited out of poverty.

shouldnt you be addressing the federal government?

It seems that you do not understand there is no demarcation between the Church and personal business in Nigeria. Church money in Nigeria does not belong to the Church but to the pastors, hence the emphasis on prosperity gospel, offerings, paying tithes etc. These pastors were the ones Jesus referred to when he said "You have made my father's house a den of thieves". Oyedepo is one of those that have really excelled into making his church a robber's den.

By the way no need calling yourself mediocre for attending a public tertiary institution. We all know they are nothing to write home about.

how did you know all this? have you ever caught Oyedepo stealing from the church? have you worked with him before? were you at any time his accomplice?

good gals marry bad boys, bad girls marry good girls blah blahblah....

peopl kiss on first date and marry, some wait for 6 six months and dont end up marryng....blahhhh

lots of bllaaaaaahs everywhere.

its really not about marriage but having a good home. anybody can get married anytime but how many really have successful homes.

the last time i checked 99% of ladies out there follow your theory(its not a new thing you know)
its hasnt made the soceity any better. rather we keep rearing men that think through their d.i.c.k. The ones that lack self control. That even life its all about intimacy.
the number of divorcees increase by the day. lots of unhappy couples. those men you live all your life to please even to the extent of calling ya mum a liar even the ones hailing your thread still cheat on you when you marry them.

what people dont understand though is that the decision to remain a virgin or go celibate has nothing to do with pleasing your husband. its really about pleasing God, its a convenant between the person(guy or gal) and God. having a good home is something the couples would have to work on.

Family / Re: Why Are Some Marriages So Boring? by phew09(f): 3:54pm On Jul 12, 2014
selflessmaya: Um? Nigerian marriages are hell chai!!! Most couples are just together because they dont want the stigma of divorce in society. Reasons why Nigerian marriages are boring..
1... Nigerians make having children a priority in marriages, when they date it's all about them but when they get married they dont take time to adjust to their new lives as a married couple and they just start shooting out babies. Soon they neglect each other to look after the babies. In 5 yrs time they'll start ranting of how "fed up" they are and how they're just gonna stay for the sake of the kids.
2....Nigerians don't know how to mind their own business, Marriage is not for everyone, some ppl just dont have it in them to cut all ties and settle down but society ensures that they pressure these kind of ppl just well enough to get them to marry just so they can say they fu.ck1ng did it and this is how they'll find a sacrificial lamb who will never be able to keep them happy and over time, they'll both be stuck in an extremely unhappy marriage.
3....SEXI5M in Nigeria: THIS IS THE BEDROCK OF ALL BEDROCKS THAT RUIN NIGERIAN MARRIAGES AND WE'RE STILL PRETENDING IN THIS 2014 IT'S NOT EVEN AN ISSUE. Whether you believe it or not, "nna anyi syndrome" is ruining the hell out of us. most nigerian women are married to someone who perceives them as beneath them. most nigerian men are domestically very lazy. They cant help with any house work cos they"re "THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE" so what exactly does the head of the house do? sit around and fart? The average nigerian woman works and earns and contributes to the family and still comes home to clean up and feed a grown man who was home hours before she came back but couldn't do anything to help out cos that's the way he was raised, to sit back, be a liability and do absolutely nothing and wait for food to be served. Marriage in Nigeria is like glorified slavery. If you hear nigerian men describing their dream wives, she must be fine, can cook, iron, clean and wash. If you want to establish your self as "LORD and MASTER" get a maid not a wife. A happy home can NEVER have an unhappy wife, most nigerian wives are miserable, stressed and overworked, how can i keep you happy if i'm unhappy myself?

you couldnt have said it any better
