Politics › APC Aspirant Decries High Cost Of Assembly Form by philantoxx(op): 4:40pm On Oct 18, 2014 |
BENUE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT SAYS N600,000 NOMINATION FORM TOO EXPENSIVE An aspirant for the Benue State House of Assembly, Joseph Boko has pleaded with the All Progressives Congress, APC, to reduce their nomination fee. The politician said the price of the nomination form is discouraging qualified aspirants from contesting. According to him, the high cost of the form showed that the APC is not different from the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP. Boko who is vying to represent Kwande constituency made the call on Friday in Makurdi, the state capital. He said the high cost of the nomination forms will affect the APC’s chances of winning in the 2015 elections as most aspirants can’t afford it. “The high cost of nomination forms shows no ideological difference between the APC and the ruling PDP, which has also hiked the cost of forms beyond the reach of its ordinary members”, Bako said. Bako said he was in the race to improve the living conditions of the people. He also commended INEC’s performance in recent elections and urged it not to disappoint Nigerians in the conduct of the 2015 elections. |

CrudeGH: rubbish! how can a country "hide" anything in this era? are you okay? in this modern age how can any country "hide" anything? don't foreigners live in those countries. or is it only Ghanaians that live in GHana? typical shitnigerian! your a Ghanian rit?? d Ghanian economy started dwindling since mahama came in. during the world cup several Ghanian supporters sought asylum in Brazil. yet the Ghanian people showed some level of responsibility. mind u its only in Nigeria that the president is verbally assaulted on a per second basis.(not saying he is any way close to perfection tho) In France François hollande made sky high promises during his campaign.currently now the growth forcast promised has been declared non feeasible. China overtook US as the most developed economy.do u tink an average American is happy with the Obama led govt? the media plays a prominent role, the reason for the word hide(not too palatable tho) so the crux of the matter is are u happy as a Nigerian? |
