What you are sayiong is true. I have been using my phone as usual just like I said erlier. Few day ago,  a friend I used to assist on little PC-solutions came with an MTN modem for me to check why it wasnt working in his house as he had already started feeling frustrated because he just bought two days ago. It worked for me because he does not know how to configure it to run on GPRS/EDGE preferably since 3G signal is scarce around us. The man had just travelled leaving it with me now pending his return within this few days. I know 3G signal is the ultimate but, 2g and 2.5g also do very well if you have a good internet hook-up.
Please, gentlemen, give me hope, please. Look at the screenshot I made out of my dying browsing.

I have been using free web proxies to surf but my problem is downloading speed. Sometimes, I may not even be able to download. Though, I use my Nokia 6300 as amodem on my PC. Please can anyone guide me on this,  I can use Adobe Photo to edit and design digital fotos from digital cams. I will like design and to have a small banner as a sign post of 30inches X 40inches. I asked somebody how he got his digital print signpost and he said one of his friends introduced one artist that charged him and did it with a welder that made the sand to form the signboard. I have not followed up the procedure of making this type of digital printed sign/banner. The artist wont want me know about the procedure and wont take me to the banner-publishers/printers just because I will be the one to create every design before any kind of printing will take place. What is the procedure for me to create my banner on my PC. Do I use Photoshop for it? What should be the measurement scale of the canvass to lay on in order to achieve good quality picture and print?

George, Did you say something about the speeds? Yes, i guess I read you well. I borrowed a friend's Zain 3G modem just to try on my PC. After it installed itself on the coolest plug and play mode, introduced itself as 3G modem, started browsing with the youg man's N10,000 data plan, then, suddenly, the next day, it went on to 230.4kbps. I have trying to tweak it from my PC network modem setup tp what I was using with my phone (960.6kbps) but anytime I restart for the change to take effect, it returns and sticks to 230.4kbps. The ownre took it the next day. Can anybody explain my experience to me?

Pleas Puskin, you advised me to back up my contacts and other personal files. If the phone technician then flashes the phone by connecting it to his PC and do the flashing to remove stuborn virus and corrupt firmware, will it wipe the entire firmware of my phone and replace it with a fresh one or the firmware remains there but in a clean slate just as it came with the phone originally from the phone manufacturer? Will flashing repace my phone firmware with a new one or it will only clean it togo back to the way it was when the phone was newly bought? Thanks.

Please, I have this disturbing my mind. I came across a post in a forum when a poster said one can flash his phone manually without going to pay N1,500. Codes were also dropped. I won't dare to try until I know what I'm doing. Please, explain to me what happens before we move to flash our phones, why do we flash our phones and, if I should flash it manually with given codes, what are the results and the achievement of the flashing. I have heard someone said that you flash your phone when the firmware is corrupt. Now can you still do these when codes were given to you? Will you stand a good chance of achieving success after flashig it mannually on your own according to instructions that may be given to you? Please, ALL should try, help and teach me this. Please try state the browser you are using on the speed you mention as it will also help many of us that are following up on this post. Thank you.

Please, does all these mean that you have to unlock the MTN modem (N8,500) else it can not be used on other networks?
Does this tell us that nobody have actually bought and used this said modem on other networks unless they have to unlock it first? I do not have one yet (I use my phone and the speed is 921.6kbs and that is why I will need a good modem. Please all should help and make this post very clear to us all that do not know much about this bonanza Modem and their capabilities so that one will not buy a thing that seem good then star regretting because of lack of proper advice and information. Please, I have been trying to get help on the use of t9space for ZAIN browsing but I can't download anything more than 100kb which will always cut.   PLease, I was told to try "chinagrows" but it still didn't give room for download of more than 200kb.   Please can anyone give me a fre proxy to browse and (maybe) downloads of some files up to 5mb or more.   I will appreciate.

Please no one should be offended in my comment and plea. I will love to know if these proxies are to be added to the prefixes of any of the available network to use for bypassing;, a good example such as this "wap.mtnonline.com.(then you add any of the proxy)"

Please throw more light to help me put down the networks internet settings before one will then add any of the proxies just like I tried to explain with that of MTN to my own understanding. I will really appreciate if you can me. Thank you in anticipation.
