A thread had just been created to review your phone (good and bad side) but you people have made a complete mess of the whole thing and see where it is taking us to , Some of you just changed the true reason for this thread and some have brought your phone problems here for solution while some of you have become an overnight problematic solution to a bending problem. And I know that none of you are below the stage of puberty. Please all should learn to be good and stop giving ourselves to this good for nothing mentality that is eating deep into our system everyday because of our stiffneck and self concious ignorance.

We are growing and it is still not too late to lear to be responsible humans.

My brother, You seem not understand what Dclique had explained. Please, try, be patient enof 2 look before you lip. These are two different packages well spelt out here. Zain Lite is not a voice call package where you activate it to make phone calls. It is for data call (internet) where you subscribe as per the dataplan you desire and after applying the required code provided to you, you are on to connect your mobile internet enabled phone to your laptop or PC as a modem to browse the net without proxy/internet Provider's address.

You are wrong, you know. It is not that we do not read. We have many other things that are not being put together yet to stabilize our mentality to set up these amenities. The one you mentioned passed through the same time taking process. It is just unfortunate that we became wiser that the expected time and we are hungry for these things to be ours sharing the equal rights as other developed regions while we still developing. If you feel these things are a big necessity, then do something by starting somewhere and if you want to criticize, please let us criticize constructively. I hope we are got the picture?

Please, all hands should be on deck here O.  I misplaced my Glo SIM and after welcome back pack, Cant reach Glo Customer care. Cant save Glo GPRS (OTA) config setting (e.g type Nokia6300 & send to  927) by SMS. The settings came after an SMS came earlier adving me to use 1234 as password. But when I pressed to save the setting, it ddnt work. Rather a text was displayed saying "Only 70 sets allowed. Settings discarded" .

I have to do something to clear those used so called 70 sets from my phone. Mayb, it has bn counting from wen I startd adding and rmovn dfrent configs on the phone long time ago. I tried to apply a code on the phone to bring it back to manufacturer's dfault setting but it rquestd 4 scurity code which I cant even remmber anythin of such. My people, what do I do try now, please.

I have been beging here for help on my browsing/downloading activity on my PC but no one wnats to help.
The ones that manage to mail me (just once) ended it because of reasons best coordinated by them alone. When bucks became involved in some of them, I was bargaining for what I can pay, just to straight and simple instead of insincerity but some just ignored. It is not that I want the speed of Princeofillorin but, I just want something very reasonable cause I have been surffering here.
No MTN 3G in my area for now but there is GPRS, EDGE comes in once in a while and go. I have Glo 3G and ZAIN EDGE. I an currently using MTN coz the service is always stable (not dropping easily like others sometimes).
Now check out my download speed.

I am accomodating and cooperative.

Hayprof and my other Modem Bizmen,     I have just been aware of the 7.2mbps modem already on some dealers' shelves for the startup-price of 15k (fifteen thousand naira). I guess some mates may even have it here and enjoying themselves with it before our neywork operator will surprise us with their emergency lunch of an upgraded mobile internet connection as usual.    
This may not be an issue here but I may buy yours if it meets up the standard laid down conditions that will suit the buyer and as well as the seller  .  Please, I wll like us to extend our intending deal on email which may give us enough convinience to talk about it.

Hayprof, I have that MTN branded modem (a friend left with me since one month now) though I have been having problem with 3G signal in my current location. I have inserted a GLO SIM in it but it will just not allow me to use it to get the 3G available signal which it found during manual serching while an MTN SIM was insertes earlier. It could still find ZAIN but when the SIMs of the manually found signals' are introduced in the modem, it just will not connect for use. See attached pictures.

I made a mistake and typed taskbar while havin mind to type taskmanager yet you were able to ignore my mistakes but still proceeded to profer a solution to my proble. I didnt bother to download on the link because I started with the sytax you wrote down which did it instantly via copy and paste into the mentioned area and a lightning speed black flash came up and that was all. Thanks all.

Mtn 2500 is fast and gives connection from 10pm-5am. Within that time if the network isnt down, you should get speeds of up to 350kb per sec which is fast enough for almost any online app. its recomended if you have 3g coverage in your area and it will work with your phone if you have pcsute.

Mtn is the fastest network I've ever seen in Nigeria but unfortunately the most fraudulent and wicked network providers. I have dumped them since their 3g limit. Very wicked company.

I share your view. I have Glo, Zain and MTN SIM and I use them all for Data also. MTN is very good; it depends on the presence of 3G and also the tunnel or server one is linking thru to internet. Zain is not bad, Glo is very fine. Right now, in my location, there is no 3G on MTN but EDGE comes and goes. ZAIN maintains EDGE but Glo is 3G (though once in a while, it returns to 2G. You cn see that my xperience due to my location may not b ur xperience. I use my friend's MTN 3G Fastling modem which gives me 53.6kbps and once in a while if it cuts off and u reconnect, u may then have 230.6kbps (EDGE) but u will mainly have just GPRS. I cant even download, maybe due to my server link to the internet. I am using Free Link that is why but, I am looking forward to a good Samaritan that will put me on a good link so that I can do better than this and also download because others using MTN paid services are downloading but not up to 300 - 400kbps as other are downloading which I know it is true. With my present Freebrowsing condition, my download speed is about 1.9 - 6.2kbps which sometimes breaks off and I loose what I have downloaded so far. How frustrating. Ossy01, I do not have an MTN modem of my own till this moment though a friend left his modem with for use as he travelled to his villa for over two weeks now. but from my use and the experience of others around me, I will say PLEASE, trust the SPEED. The only thing that is pending on my purchase of one to myself is how to pick the one that best sut my kind of style. I mean the ability to accept all GSM SIM without stress so I can switch to any favourable network at the time the need arises. That's all. I have been running analysis with the modems belonging to the diffrenet networks and will com up for general suggestion and contribtuion to assist us that have not purchased ours and also to those that already have too. Puskin, you are very straight here on this issue. They are only bringing another strategy to divert our attention from realising that we are always being ripped off. They have brought a name for the service that I have been using for the past time over a year with a rebranded name and claiming its charge is a favourable one instead of reducing interconnect rates among them and reducing their tarrifs. Look, I have been using this service on the mentioned network and I am charged as someone making a single and normal call so, it is not new in any way they want to garnish it. The service have been lying dormant there but some people are still not yet acquainted with the procedure of using their GSM phone to make the calls. This is just the new thing here. If the users know it all, then nothing is new any mor on this.
