Dey here dey create threads of APC and patriotism when your party is being buried in PH. Sheriff has just cancelled your convention in the midst of that plenty crowd while another faction has elected interim committee in Abuja. Worry more about that Tonye, meanwhile don't forget to invite me to the burial ceremony of the most corrupt and evil party in the whole world as your man.

RIP PDP, we will miss you but criminals will miss you more.

This is the normal life in the abroad we want to be as developed as but our stupid value system will not allow us. Now don't tell me we don't have roads or what have you because that's a semblance of that the people still do not do this.
If a car owner tries this in Portharcourt or elsewhere it's friends or neighbors that will say "e be like alarm don dey tear am"
False sense of wealthiness.
PoliticsRe: Why There Are Doubts That A REAL Chibok Girl Was Found - Cramjones by philips70(m): 6:18am On May 21, 2016

cramjones:
I know that many in the North cannot speak English, but this SS3 girl should be able to at least understand when she is asked questions. She neither understands nor even speaks a speck of English. When English is spoken to her it has to be translated. What sort of WAEC exam was she writing without a clue of English? Why did we have an Amina look alike arrested two years ago with bombs? I support PMB, but when I see holes it must be pointed out. There is something just not right!

-CramJones
An unstable mind is as worse as Ebola. Simple questions...do you think it's impossible for a scam team to get a girl who looks like the Amina in the list and can also speak English? A so called scam team who could fool the whole world is surely smarter than your minuscule mind.
Lastly, one question I like putting to all of you is..do you think there are no PDP adherents in Chibok and the surrounding communities who could have burst this so called scam since April 2014? The PDP chairman as of today is a SWAT team leader from Borno and should know if this is all scam or not.
You all should relax these stupid conspiracy theories and face the reality for once.

I agree perfectly with the OP. I spent seven years in Delta state and one year PH, it's same mentality.

Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun, I recommend this thread for FP. Let's help our youths.
It is the OYEL mentality. It turned the youths into very lazy bunch who believes and have been told they are not supposed to work to cater for themselves because they are from the Niger Delta, a region rich in oil.

Wait though, Deji Deyanju does not support Fayose, does this mean he is with this group or he will go form his own?
Deji Adeyanju's father, Alhaji Adewole Adeyanju is the national auditor of PDP and a strong hater of Fayose and his group. He is the one who said Fayose is practising political rascality in the west.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Accused Of Stealing £500million - Dailymail Uk by philips70(m): 2:25pm On May 15, 2016
All the allegations Wike and the PDP levelled against Amaechi was ONLY aimed at stopping him from getting any meaningful position from Buhari's government after helping in ousting their man from power. Fullstop!

Immediately Buhari unlooked them and appointed him that was the end of the allegations. Daily Mail bringing all these unsubstantiated and bogus stories now is just the handiwork of Ibori and Diezani in the UK.
WIKE knows it's all cock and bull stories, now that he's a governor he knows better.

ononujuchika:
the reason you think that corruption in this administration is lower is because the compromised media lis shying away from corruuption in this government.
The media you talk about has not even been kind to this government. Corruption can never be swept under the carpet. The visibility is even very high now especially as they came in with the toga of anti corruption. Tell yourself the truth even if it doesn't suit your bias, there is general fear of the consequences of corruption today because they don't know what will happen tomorrow. If this tempo was kept in the past I bet you politicians and civil servants/banks would have at least exercised some restraints. There was no fear of consequences in any way, reasons being that the PDP in their wildest dream never believed they will ever leave power. All that has changed as the APC today cannot predict the next elections as the only guarantee they have to come back in 2019 is performance and keeping a clean slate. Give kudos when it's due, a template is being set at the moment and it will go a long way to define how public service will be in the future. whether the current government is doing well in governance is a different ball game altogether which will be determined at the end of their tenure.

PoliticsRe: How Tinubu Milks Lagos State Of N3-N6 Billion Monthly Through Alpha Beta by philips70(m): 8:35am On Apr 24, 2016
ednut1:
the coy with all the revenue no even get their own office. they use a floor in water corporation house at ijora or so. they are actually doing a good job. bt i think d fees shud be reduced to 1-2%
And you believe the percentage and monthly figures bandied? If Tinubu makes such monies monthly, that is even if he is the real owner, sole owner of ABC, Bode George, Koro, Agbaje and even FFK will remain his boys today.
In this age of social media and highly compromised traditional media it's very easy to cook up stories.

Nevertheless there's nothing legally or morally wrong if he runs ABC and they have a job with Lagos state as long as they are doing the job excellently well. As someone else stated even PDP states are using them. I work in an establishment with a very high integrity stake worldwide, yet many of our suppliers and contractors are retired or resigned staffs. Key thing is laws and policies are not being shunted for you to compromise standards and you are delivering on your mandates. This I think is the reason other states employed their services. Yet there's nothing I see that suggests Tinubu is a multibillionaire.
BusinessRe: Egyptian Devaluation Backfires -- Nigeria, Be Thankful!!! by philips70(m): 8:36pm On Apr 23, 2016
989900B:
Now tie the above into you earlier comments, you want the gov't to pay more for refined fuel?

You want official pump prices to be N150/litre and above, and when there is scarcity like there is now, we go probably N500/litre or more.

The government have foreign debts, tell me how devaluation makes that easier.

I would have loved you to answer how devaluation has helped us in the past: from 65 kobo to $1, and more recently, from N155 to 199?

What rate would you want the Naira devalued to?

Once you devalue, there is call for wage increase which triggers 'further inflation' and makes available money to buy 'the same now more expensive imported goods' = pressure back on the dollar = back to square 1.

Devaluation in our 'peculiar scenario', is a lazy man's approach to a fundamental problem.

I have over 10 written articles and tens of comments on NL about devaluation and why not.

I wrote the below a month or thereabout ago, have at it https://www.nairaland.com/2949997/dollar-vs-naira-done

It'd probably help your misconceptions, though you strongly believe in them.

Go on, amaze me!
Stop schooling idiots, the only thing that guides their thought process is hatred for one man. O Teriba cannot even convince them in this discussion.

Mr. Philips still making incoherent points to support this useless and good for nothing administration of professional fraudsters and career rogues, over the best president (GEJ) ever produced in the history of Nigeria. I hail you sir. cheesy

Please continue your campaign after election... dearisgod.
I guess you read a different comment or this is for a different thread. The matter in contention on this thread is the cluelessness of your hero even outside government. He lies more than Satan himself. If we were in developed country whose democracy is matured you know very well he should be behind bars now having supervised a government of brazen robbery. And you know too well Buhari is just being compassionate just for his sake if not he should be in the next cell to Dasuki as we speak.

And to talk about this government you mentioned, you should be doing thanksgiving you have them in power if not the robbers would have sold us to a foreign country by now and pocket their billions.
Still I don't even expect any supporter of PDP and GEJ to still be talking online by this time as shame shouldn't even allow but this is Nigeria where anything goes.

If PDP has any credibility left after May 29th last year it has totally eroded to the extent no credible person wants to associate even at a time the APC government is passing through turbulent times owing to the state of mess your party left us.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Lists His Legacies In New Jersey by philips70(m): 12:14pm On Apr 23, 2016
Someone who left a government where states and the FG could not pay salaries and had to borrow to pay after selling crude for record very high prices shouldn't even talk of achievements.

I saw Tonyebarcanista talking about roads and I ask where are they.

Then GEJ lies like the devil, in far away USA he is talking about effective railway system we are using effortlessly and making Nigeria largest economy in Africa. May God forgive him and Reno Omokri for continuing to deceive him.

This is shameful. This is the height of desperation. How much was Momodu paid for this hatchet job??

I think he got upset after several attempts at talking to the president was met with a deaf ear.

And to think this same Saraki was the same guy who once said: "thank God the trial has commenced at last". cheesy

See person oo. These guys really take Nigerians for fools I swear!
You should know Momodu did not do this but the words he has been writing on his Pendulum were copied to make the fliers. Nevertheless he has defined his political life with his stands on Sarakis matter. He just wrote another one today, this time purporting to be advising Saraki but the article itself is that of encomiums on him and further boosting his morales. Am not surprised though, this has been his outlook since Ovation started.

Yes, I was just about posting this here. Even though it is not a budget defence Amaechi clearly stated government's plan for the two routes in this year's budget. It is a proof they actually planned for it but someone is doing some mischief somewhere. In all, listening to Hon Jibrin on TV this morning it is evidently clear all they are concerned about is their constituency projects where their billions come from. All they are trying to do is to make the executive look naive before Nigerians whilst we forget to ask them about their own expenditures. Unfortunately most Nigerians are falling for it. Now that there's no longer Ghana must go from the MDAs their only hope of making millions is through constituency projects and you could see it in his voice in his appearance today.

Even though this video proved Amaechi definitely was there to defend his ministry's budget it has NOTHING to help the main bone of contention which is Lagos to Calabar rail line. Nobody should attempt to use this as a defence, it is lame.

PDP is a sad burden on Nigeria..
This is not a PDP or APC matter but ignoble people who reasonable Nigerians must rise up to deal with. David Cameron just published his wages and taxes over the years and it just look like they are pocket money to our legislators. All we do is sit online, complain and rant about APC and PDP. The whole NASS is a gang of thieves.
Ask me where was Twitter Ben Murray Bruce when a project that will benefit millions his people was expunged?
