I want to thank all who have been here with me on this journey these 3 years. I always knew that by the grace of the Almighty that we would be here this long. I have famously said that this is a story that will not end, even though these days I will say that it is a story that will not end any time soon

I want us to see 2 million views on this thread! 1 million would have happened a lot earlier if we hadn't moved to the permanent sight. And we would probably have also reached page 300 by now. But it's all good. katakatastreet.com or not, this is still a Nairaland story. I still love it here. The permanent sight mainly allows me to comfortably write f.uck as what it is and not Bleep. And for that, I am very grateful

It was nice seeing folks register on page 225. May I specially mention maggilove. It's unbelievable that it was her first comment. I always saw her viewing on the bottom of the page all the time all these years and I was sure she had said something on the thread. Nice to have you here ma'am.

Seeing tsharp, YINKS89, INDUSTRIALFAN on page 225 as well was super heartwarming. These guys have been there as early as pages 1 and 4. Incredible. Thanks guys. You rock!

And then I should thank all the newer fans and the ghost readers who still had the mind to remain ghosts all this time. God bless you o! But know that I am still here because guys like EkopSparoAyara, Ann2012 never stopped rooting. If they were also ghosts, I'm not sure we would have seen page 225. Most times, it only takes those words of encouragement to remove writer's block and have the juice flowing again for yet another episode.

I also particularly loved those "I used to be a ghost reader but I have repented" comments. At some point, I made sure to respond to every single one of them. Thanks guys.

Now I should mention some of my old favourites I don't see that much anymore but who have made this journey worth the while. sheycrown, preetiex, HelenBee, DaV8King, Dhavido, honourable356, Pinkfeet, kikiwendy, KpagoGIN, phoenixchap, MhizSuccess, and others too numerous to mention. Publishing updates for those who've read and follow the human part of the Marked Series:

This week, I received the biggest disappointment of my writing life. My publishers, who I’ve been working with for the last year and a half, decided to terminate my contract. It’s been a very hard week for me, trying to get past the disappointment and keep writing and figure out what to do next with my Marked series.

I’m not sure yet when/how I’m going to publish White Sight: The Awakening, but I’ve decided that it’s not fair to my Crimson Night readers who’ve been waiting to read Awakening to drag this process out for another year or two (which is what will inevitably happen if I try to go down the rabbit hole of traditional publishing again, with this book).

So, while I decide on how to officially publish this book, I want to give some of my Crimson Night readers, who’ve been so supportive and patient with me and this story, the chance to be alpha readers for the next book in the Marked series. What that means is that you’ll be agreeing to read a rough draft of the Awakening story in exchange for feedback that can help me improve on the work as is. If you are interested, please leave a comment on here with this post quoted and I will send you an email through Nairaland.

If there's anyone on here who read Awakening back when I posted it on NL and would be interested in helping me out as an alpha reader please let me know. This is a second version of the book with most of the same plot themes, but the story has been redone. I made one big change to the marks, so I got rid of werewolves and made them werejackals instead. Anyway, it would be nice to have some comparisons between the previous version I had on Nairaland with what I have now if anyone who has already read it before is willing to read it again. Let me know and I will reach out to you.

A tough one there dear, I pray you find strength to carry on. It is one of those challenges but life must continue it has break many good writers and made many as well I will let it make you. Thank God it's not a 5years relationship but a year+ is a long time in our life. Let's get this right we have come a long way I remember how we started 3years over let's get it right please. You have me and other hardened readers we'll do our best to help u achieve your best.

Obehid nice one, I've been constantly following just that I've been really occupied lately but to say a few thing u have dropped a few feature of the work and deviated a little, you have managed to keep the work going but I guess in your bid to keep writing, you have not been paying attention to details, gubblet remember but u used cup instead that is just to mention one very tiny fraction.. You're still on point though.

Kudos ObehiD I hope musa is found and restored... This post is the longest ever you made it a Merry Christmas, loads of love.
