Declaring an edict that public official families cannot live outside the country, will not stop the pilfering of the treasury nor create a condition for them to act in the best interest of a country.

In most countries the declaration of assets and bank accounts are a requirement for public officials and yet they still find ways to thief the public blind.
It is said that a country gets a leader it deserve. If that statement is true, then these third world countries, including Nigeria, have the leader fit for its present circumstance.

I believe that a country can only fight corruption at the highest level only if its citizenry demand moral and dignified behavior from its leaders.
To achieve that, the educational standard have to be one where the majority of the population is thinking about the common good, and not about the preservation of the status quo. As it is currently, most third world countries Intelligentsia are more concerned about the protection of their economic status than with the path their country take.

All you US haters, you guys should thank God that America is in the millitary position it is now. Americans are humans and make mistakes. Have you ever wondered what could happen if the table was rotated and countries like iran and north korea or nazi germany etc were in the posession of america's millitary might. The thought of it would give u sleepless nights. If some countries had america's might, half of the world would have ceased to exist.

You think america is bullying and invading countries with no cause?? Think what Iran would have done if it had america's might, isreal would cease to exist, america would cease to exist, half of europe would have been wiped out, and all you guys that are none muslims would have been gassed, in the name of jihad or that u are infidels.

I think if any of you were in Bush's shoes, given all the events going on and the security threats, you wouldnt have wasted time to invade iraq and afghanistan. These are two things that had to be done by america. 1 for their security and 2 to show their enemies what they can do.

Nigerian music is not popular because what is being marketed as Nigerian music is a blend of other genres.
In most Nigerian music you can hear the reggae sound, hip-hop, and R&B. Nothing that can be said unique to Nigeria.
An example is 2face "African Queen". That song gave the artist lots of accolades, but on a true examination of the arrangement, it was just a ripoff of lyrical style of other genres,
Why go for a fraud product when the original material can be had easily had?. ie Reggae, R&B, hip-hop etc.
