Why Tecno, Infinix And itel Don't sell in Europe And US!

After my factual evaluation of transsion Holdings products, namely Tecno, Itel, and infix,  http://lodega.com/community/phones-and-tablets/why-every-sensible-nigerian-should-avoid-tecno-infinix-and-itel-brands/ a lot of fan-boys blew their top with emotional reactions. Some deftly pointed out I was on a propaganda mission to kill off the brand, others claimed I was a Samsung fan boy even when I never extolled Samsung.

The  truth is Tecno, infinix and Itel are getting better daily, the only problem is they are using poor, ignorant Africans as beta testers of their subpar phones and getting richer for it by selling lies, using bloggers to claim features their phones don't have or hardware it isn't equipped with.

So the ugly truth is that Africans are testing these phones without any international standard certificate or FCC or EC seal of conformity.

This is why Tecno, Infinix is avoiding regions of the world where strict conformity in regulation are observed, e.g US and EU. Because not one single Transsion Holdings brand could be found in these countries!

But Alas, true global Chinese brands like Xaomi, ZTE, Huawei, Gionee etc are all over US and Europe, because unlike Tecno they all got their international standard conformity approved and verified both by EU and US regulatory bodies.

Worthy of note is that HTC originating from a tiny country like Taiwan built the first android phone, the G1 and it's a global brand.

So the big question is why is Tecno and infinix hiding in Africa and India? Why isn't Tecno or infinix carrying EC and FCC seals?

Notably, one overzealous fanboy went about to claim infinix, one of Transsion Holdings brands uses Corning Gorrila glass on its phone when a listing of  brands using Corning doesn't show any Transsion Holdings brand using its product or technology. Yet it is claimed that Infinix Zero 5 uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Yes we found other Chinese brands like Huawei, Xaomi, ZTE, Gionee etc. But no Tecno or Itel or Infinix. To see list of devices using Corning Gorrila glass see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_devices_with_Gorilla_Glass

Also a list of OEMs and mobile manufacturers using Qualcomm chipset did not appear to list Transsion Holdings as using its chipsets. Yet Tecno claims an Infinix model uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 series. It's a barefaced lie!

We cannot afford to take the claims of Transsion Holdings at face value when no reputable, globally acknowledged critic/journalist have listed or reviewed this devices for what they truly are. For what we know, Transsion Holdings is exploiting poor regions of the world with lies and false claims.

If you want to know which features a phone uses, download AnTuTu Benchmark or even CPU - Z. No brand can say is using Snapdragon chipset when is not.

Megapixels alone don't determine picture quality. The phones the best cameras (Pixel 2 XL, Iphone X, Galaxy S9 plus) all have 12MP cameras and beat all those phones with 16 and 20 MP.

iPhone X VS Camon X-Portrait Mode

The internet has been inundated with the news of an upcoming Camon X device from TECNO Mobile which will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.

According to what we heard, the upcoming smartphone will launch with a highly rated Selfie camera that shoots better pictures than the almighty iPhone X

There are rumours that the upcoming smartphone will feature a Blink and snap feature that will make it possible to take selfie with just a blink of the eyes. While we cannot confirm how true this was, TECNO CAMON devices have not just been awesome but have totally changed people’s perception about smartphone cameras in recent times.

Uhans Max 2 is an Android 7.0 Nougat device from Chinese Smartphone maker, Uhans. It is a 6.44-inch device and has some exciting specs for the price it is being sold for. I got a review unit from GearBest and I will be unboxing the device right away.

The device took about 7 days to arrive from China and the delivery was handled by DHL. So let get started to see what is inside the Uhans Max 2.

A yet to be released Infinix smartphone has arrived GFXBench with the model number of X603. The device according to the benchmarking tool boasts 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device in question might be the Infinix Zero 5 Plus that will be unveiled around September this year.

The tool also listed the Infinix X603 having the MediaTek Helio P25 with a maximum clock speed of 2.1GHz. The MediaTek Helio P25 which is also known as MT6757 is an Octa-core processor equipped with Mali-T880 dual GPU.

The Infinix X603 also boasts a 6-inch screen having a Full HD display and 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat with an overlay of XOS Chameleon-Infinix’s custom UI and 4500mAh battery.

The current Infinix Zero 4 Plus has a model number of X602, an indication that the listed infinix phone belongs to the Zero series.

Samsung has unveiled a Tizen-powered smartphone known as Samsung Z4.The device has a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800px. It measures 132.9 x 69.2 x 10.3mm in dimension and weighs about 143g. It is a dual SIM enabled smartphone which runs on Tizen 3.0 operating system.

The front of the screen is covered by a 2.5D curved glass and is powered by a Quad-core 1.5GHz processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM and basic 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 64GB via MicroSd card.


In the camera side of thing, Samsung Z4 has a 5MP camera at the back with a dedicated flash and also 5MP at the front for selfie lovers. The phone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE and VoWi-Fi and the single-SIM version will be available in some countries.


According to Samsung, Beginning in May, the Samsung Z4 will launch in select countries, first in India and will be available in black, gold and silver depending on the market. The Samsung Z4 will also be showcased at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco, California May 16-17, 2017.

Other features on the phone are Quick Talk, Quick Torch, Quick Launch of camera or Quick Switch without returning to the home screen. It is powered by a 2,050 mAh battery. Source

Infinix is readying to introduce a Dual Front Camera smartphone to be known as Infinix S2 Pro. The device is the second in the new Infinix S-series line after the Hot S that was released last year. Infinix S2 Pro comes with 5.2-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved glass display protected by a dragontrail glass.
