No tangible infrastructure has been put in place to attract investors and you're shouting "abia is on the right track "

I wonder what Ambode will now say since this one means "being on the right track "

These press secretaries are just shameless. I won't blame them though they are doing the job they are paid for. But yet failed to convince anybody that it was a lie. How?? Just debunk the "rumour" that teachers are owed 7 salary hence nothing like that occurred. They can't deny because is true. Abians are suffering and these lowlifes are just trying to cover a black charcoal with a white hue. Which is not possible.

Ikpeazu pay abia civil servants oo!!!!

No matter it is, I sound rude to knock your head. Religious places are not places to show of your small might or ego.

Try that in a shrine if you will not be used to appease the gods.

You came late for that matter and had the effrontery to disturb those who came before you. You think ushers are meant for decoration? Go and sit where your usher tell you to sit or go open a church where you can sit where you want

Lawlessness everywhere.

Here comes Abia identity

25 years after her creation as a Federating Unit in the Nigeria Federation, Abia has joined other Federating Units like Lagos, Bayelsa, Osun, Cross River etc to unveil and establish its own identity.

Henceforth, here are the new symbols of Abia State…

*******************************
EXPLANATORY NOTE
Abia logo
The Helm
Black and Gold Eagle signifying STRENGTH and GRACE.

The Shield
Silver, quartered in Blue, Gold, Earth and Green signifying LABOUR and ENTERPRISE (Blue) , Sun and abundance of WARMTH (GOLD), Welcoming & Receptive Nature of Abians (Earth) and Fertility (Green).

The Central Elephant is the Traditional Image of Abia (Enyi). While
The Open Book signifies Education, Scholarship and The Holy Bible

The 4 Ordinaries are
1. Artisan (Artisanship/enterprising nature of Abians)
2. The Abia Tower (The central Abia Figure)
3. Industry (Productivity in manufacturing and oil & gas)

Good move but my own is how will these have a direct effect on the life of that woman that fries akara in the remote part of kebbi state or that wheelbarrow pusher in Ebonyi state? ........Most of these federal government "policies" only manifest in Abuja and Lagos.

Like they said they will increase the number of students that gets scholarship. Believe me most students from these poverty ravaged states won't even hear anything about this

SportsRenewed Hope For Nigeria, Tanzania As Chad Rescinds Afcon Decision by phrankchek(op): 1:14am On Apr 01, 2016
In a twist of fate that could yet bring succour to Nigeria and Tanzania, the Chadian Football Federation has rescinded its decision to withdraw from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers if Caf would accept it back. The Chadians announced this news via their official website on Thursday evening, four days after they threw Group G into disarray with their decision to drop out of qualifying due to financial constraints. Looking at the financial implications of withdrawing which has attracted a $20,000 fine from Caf, the Chad federation said it thought it wise to remain in the competition rather than spend the money on a fine. “We will return to qualifying and we regret any logistics problems that this might have caused Caf, our fellow group opponents and our fans,” a statement from the general secretary of the Chadian Football Federation, Amadou Keita Chaibou, read. “It is our hope that this return will help us avoid more sanctions seeing that our poor country cannot afford to pay $20,000 when we claim not to have money for flights and accommodation. “We also hope that it would not affect our plans to qualify for the World Cup in 2018 so we have returned like prodigal sons wishing that Caf will accept our plea.” However, the decision on whether to accept Chad back to the competition would be made by the Caf Competitions Board in the next few hours. It is good news for Nigeria and Tanzania who had given up on qualifying for Gabon 2017 due to the soar away success of the resurgent Egyptians. Now, any one of the two sides could still garner enough points to finish in second place and with points high enough to see them through to Afcon 2017 as one of two best second-placed sides. Happy April 1st!
Christianity EtcWho Really Compiled The Books Of The Bible? by phrankchek(op): 1:05pm On Mar 13, 2016
The Bible Is A Catholic Book – Did you ever wonder how the Bible came into being? A little known, but easily documented fact is that the books of the Bible were compiled by the Catholic Church. For many years after Christ ascended into Heaven, there was debate about which scriptural writings were inspired by God. The canon of Scripture (the books of the Bible) was first formally decided at the Synod of Rome in 382. This decision was upheld at the Councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397). At these Catholic Church councils, the same 46 Old Testament and 27 New Testament books that appear in today’s Catholic Bibles were declared to be inspired by God. As a side note, approximately 1200 years after this decision was made, Martin Luther and the Protestant reformers removed 7 books from the Old Testament. As a result, most Protestant Bibles are still missing these 7 books.
