There's an argument in my office if this 'handbag-carrying' act of this guy in the picture is right or wrong.

NB: they walked quite a long distance and the lady was not carrying anything all through.

Please house what's your view on this?

I do it a lot not because my gf asked me 2,but because I chose 2 do it. She dare not try hand her bag 2 me or ask me 2 carry 4 her wen her hands r not occupied cos she knows I always do it willingly

@donariok mind u,ave got a job so I don't have time 2 go 2 pple's houses its jst dat I knew d mother of d dog when she was still alive and den according 2 my friend after she $ 6 of d puppies she gave birth 2 died,d guy was no longer taking good care of dis dog any longer,I should have seen him 3 weeks ago wen I brought him 2 my house. He was dirty,scared of people,even wen a gate jam close he gets scared,I jst lyk d dog and bliv I can take proper care of him more dan my friend

I jst got a gsd from a friend of mine,the dog was not properly taken care of by dis guy. Firstly he's scared of people,not aggressive and I have never heard him bark since he's been with me(3weeks). Secondly he limps on his right hindleg its like he's feeling some pains there and I also noticed dat he kinds of chews his tongue all d tym witout anytin being in his mouth continuosly @ 1st I thot he was sick or sumtin after it continued 4 a while I had 2 ask d guy and he said dat was hw he has been after a time wen he fell sick(d said sickness killed d mother of d dog and his brothers,he alone survived) I am thinking of taking him 2 a vet but I wanted 2 seek d advice of some xperienced in-house dog handlers b4 I do,so as not 2 b extorted by a vet.I would appreciate any advice or help u guys can render me because am so in love with d dog. Joomla has not officially addressed the issue. Most solutions that worked for others don't work for some in respect to this issue. But what has worked for most persons I have worked with is, keep restarting the installation, clear your browser cache and also restart your system once in a while. It''ll be a matter of time, it'll definitely install and subsequent installations won't have issues.

The best way to run around it is, if you are using AMPPS, you can install Joomla using http://localhost/ampps or http://localhost:8080/ampps as your case may be. As soon as you enter that URL, a list of applications will be shown, you can select to install Joomla from there.

Installing Joomla in an online server has no issues.

i have successfully installed joomla,i goggled d problem and i got a solution and i'll b glad 2 share it here for other nairalanders.firsly try and access ur training folder on ur c\drive den u click on installation,click on sql,click on mysql u'll see a text file named joomla.sql,open it wit notepad den u do d following, 1.press ctrl h,it will pop out a tab,type engine=innodb in d find what section nd type engine=myisam in d replace section and click on replace all,wait till it replaces d command den save and close d notepad,restart ur system start ur joomla installation again and am very sure its gonna work.

our humble senior lecturer,most of your students are stuck in the "creating database tables" area of the installation and its quite frustrating to have come this far and get stuck,i have tried all u advised me to do and its still not going past that section i even googgled the issue and the solutions i got did not work too. Pls help us out because we have come very far and want to go even furthermore. thanx in anticipation

Try using Google Chrome to install the Joomla. If it still doesn't install, clear your browser cache and reinstall it, it should install.

its still the same thing,i left it for about 4 hours and it did not install,still on the creating database tables and its really frustrating pls help me out

What's the error that you receive?

On the other hand,

1. Restart your system and restart the services manually.
2. Uninstall and reinstall AMPSS.
3. Leave your listen at 80 if it's not used.

i did all u adviced and its still not starting,i even had to google it and most of the solutions gotten were tried and it still did not work. but i have downloaded wamp and its working but joomla is taking ages to install. y?

Please I need help with the running of d apache,I installed the ampps correctly and followed your instruction on changing listen 80 to 8080 but its still not starting,please I'll really appreciate your professional advice
