Honestly I respect your submission, but I must confess that despite this being a platform for prospective students, staylites that need useful advice should also be given irrespective of their field of study. it's also of important to note that we all here are very strong stakeholders as I can see... just that some people like being on a low key.... hope to see you after resumption though....

@Rakish, I'm scared the myths you hear about people passing ISL better than HR are actually true... Given the ratio of those that apply for ISL to HR. However, you don't really have to follow the crowd, many rush to ISL not because of the grades per se, but they try to avoid the stress of HR. Another factor to consider now is the fact they are now two lecturers taking ISL, depending on the semester Dr Mubarak and Prof. Isah. Just choose wisely and make consultations... CC Safarigirl

For as many people that are eager and anxiously waiting for the Post utme, please be advised to wait for the Senate to meet before admitting people's conclusion... Truth is except the Senate meets and decides, news as regards post utme will just be nothing than a fairy tale... So let's all wait till Senate meets on Wednesday and see what they have for us all

My windows 8 laptop does not see my Q10 mobile hotspot most of the time. On the few occassion it does see it, it fails to connect giving a "cannot connect to this network" message. I have updated the network adapter driver on the laptop but still not connecting. Not even detecting it.Funny thing is the laptop connects to other mobile hotspots...I jux bought de laptop wondering if its a fault..

You have to be screened first, at such you would be given a matriculation number, which makes you a bonafide student of the school. Except that is done, you can not get the accomodation form and pay school fees, cos matric no would be needed 2do d@

Its white on black o, with a black tie and shoe... But for 100l student, you will offer just one law course so, its only on mondays you wear the dress code. Friday is excluded and mufti is allowed for borrowed courses

ADMISSION INTO UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR 2014/2015 ACADEMIC SESSION

The general public is hereby informed that list of successful candidates admitted into the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the University is now out and can be accessed from the University Portal. Candidates are advised to pay Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only into University of Abuja Admissions Notification’s Account, at any Zenith Bank Plc nationwide, obtain a PIN numbers from the Bank and visit the University Web-portal http://www.unibujaug.mycportal.com to print Admission Notification for the 2014/2015 and other Screening documents and bring them for University Screening exercise. New entrants and returning students resumes on 23rd November, 2014 and Registration commences on 24th November, 2014 respectively.

ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Notice: Candidates should carefully read these instructions and follow ALL necessary steps, as “mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification.

STEP 1: Candidates are advised to pay Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only (N2,100) for screening exercise, checking of admission results and printing of online Admission Notification. The sum of Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only (N2,100) should be paid into the University of Abuja’s Sub-Account at any ZENITH BANK PLC only nationwide after payment, PIN shall be issued.

STEP 4: Candidates can therefore, move into various College/Faculty of their choice of course of study for credentials verification, bring along JAMB Result Slip, Ordinary Level (SSCE, GCE, Grade II e.tc.) certificate/statement of result, certificate of Birth/Declaration of Age, Certificate of Local Government Indigene, Letter of Undertaking from parent/Guardian that you will be of good behavior while in the University, Twelve (12) passport-size photographs. STEP 6: After successful payment, change the initial password to a new and unique password known only to you.

STEP 7: Click on My Profile Tab, Update Personal Detail Form by clicking on Edit button. Supply all details about you. Ensure that the Email address and phone number supplied are valid, functional and personal for further correspondence and short messages. Students should review their Completed Personal Detail Form before submission.

Students must upload his/her head shot photograph with two ears appearing and scan signature in a JPEG image format and submit. The size of such images must not exceed 50kb. The photograph must be white background of 5cm5cm without glasses, cap or headgear.

Click on “UPDATE” to effect all the changes/information entered on your PERSON DETAIL Form and print a copy.

STEP 8: Visit the University Portal to apply for Hostel Accommodation.

STEP 9: Click on Course Registration to register for your Courses.

STEP 10: Collect Original Offer of Provisional Admission Letter from the College/Faculty. Then, Open Five (5) files, make Five (5) photocopies of listed below documents and put each of them into files. The documents are Online Personal Detail Form, Original Offer of Provisional Admission Letter, Admission Notification, Academic Planning Screening Certificate, College/ Faculty Screening Certificate, Online School fees Receipt, Hostel Accommodation Online Receipt, JAMB Result Slip, Ordinary Level (SSCE, GCE, Grade II e.tc.) Certificate/statement of result, Certificate of Birth/Declaration of Age, Certificate of Local Government Indigene, Letter of Undertaking from parent/Guardian that you will be of good behavior while in the University, and University Web-Portal User’s Application Form. Submit those files to Academic Planning Unit, Student Affairs Office, College/Faculty, Department, and Bursary for your records.

STEP 11: Should you have difficulties or complaint, click HOME, and click feedback link to send such complaint or enquiries. Our Support Team will urgently attend to your complain accordingly.

STEP 12: Closing Date: Registration should be duly completed and processed not later than Three weeks from the date of commencement (i.e. 24th November – 21December, 2014). The portal shall be blocked on 21stDecember, 2014 at 12.00am.

NOTICE:

(a) The deadline for the Registration may not be extended. Any student whose data are not submitted within the stipulated time may not be considered to sit for Examinations.

(b) Misrepresentation and falsification of documents is a serious offence. Students are therefore, strictly advised to submit genuine data only.

You are on track if that your result... Provided you have a credit in literature-in-english and English. Faculty of law accepts a pass in maths i.e E8 or D7 anyone is accepted.

The last time abuja released her list on newspaper was during Nuhu Yaqub, but during Adelabu's time it was not a thing of record..... This is a new administration so let's wait and see.... By saturday our eyes will be open....

MrPresido I hail you o. Please I try to choose my words carefully, and read between the lines. I said uniabuja is full of mystery and can do the unthinkable, so those thing about admission list coming out before resumption should not be so cocky about that. When I said uniabuja do release lists after resumption and commencement of lectures, we all know about the extra-cool list that comes out days to exams. That was what I was referring to. Please ooooo.... I am not part of the school's governing council. Let them just do what is good..... For those sick and tired of home bear with uniabuja, it gets worse before getting better, many things need to be put in place. That's why you mostly don't find students from thursday cos the place is unbearable for learning sake. I strongly belief what they are doing is for our benefits. So keep calm and do something worthwhile

The news or rumour about Uniabuja resuming on 27th is somehow taking a new dimension of being real as some Radio stations in the FCT has been announcing it since morning. For those thinking Uniabuja won't resume until admission list is pasted, please don't be so sure cos the school is filled with mystery. Even after resumption and commencement of lectures admission lists are still being pasted in many cases. So if you have seen your name on jamb portal prepare for resumption, cos the circular about resumption might be even out on Friday evening. For those still expecting there names keep hoping and praying for the best.
