ctuagent007: Utd can't be the richest club & claim City is spending big....it's just like Madrid complaining of Barca's spendings. Big clubs will, should & mist spend big esp in this transfer window caused by Neyma's sales & we must spend heavy in this coming summer & I don't want cheap signings for Utd cos we have passed the stage of little spendings if you look properly you will see much of what you tag 'complaining' is really just people trying to expose the double standards that has become the standard these days |

Nihilist: Giroud though.
You mean someone is actually trying to sign Giroud for the club.
No wonder Conte looks more morose by the day.... he is better than Morata though |

Take player x for example.
Man Utd signs player x and a journalist who is bent on painting a picture of United being heavy spenders will report total fee(plus add ons) .. Say 70m even when the add ons are heavily incentivised and probably bring some other Jara to the surface.
City signs the same player and a journalist who is a pep apologist and wants to paint a picture of the deal being astute business will probably only report the initial fee.
It is now left for anybody that has sense to be able to see through these things and deviant that wants to troll with it. |

And knowing united to be the commercial monster that they are, trust Woodward and his people to maximize every bit of ££ that you can possibly get back from the deal of this size. Don't be surprised united signs an endorsement deal with pedigree in the coming weeks |

After all is said and done, Una go realize say last last the swap deal with mkhi means the actual cost of Sanchez's deal in wages is really the small amount we added to Mkhitaryan's own. One 29 year old swapped for a much better age mate, no transfer fee with only about 150k or thereabout a week extra. Make of it what you will but this is a major coup. We for sign moura for around 25m and pay am 150k wages on top and nobody for bat eyelid Idiots |

Eruditor: If I urinate, your mum will guzzle it as the fountain of youth- and that is your mum, imagine what your neighbour's houseboy (your father) would do to my faeces. I could have that IQ you described above and still make hall of fame for intelligence in your painfully daft and irresponsibly dull-witted family lineage. Do you think you are engaging almajiris in Adamawa? Miss me with your pseudo-intellectualism.
I am sure the Lavezzi, Tevez and Mascherano also went to China because the owners showed ambition or Watford sacked 3 different managers because they want to win the EPL.

It has become a disgraceful show of laziness (I dunno how else to describe it) by the media. A deal of this magnitude and all what the stupid English press is concerned about is who is paying who what. Nothing about how both players will fit in tactically in their new clubs or something similarly sensible to read. Everybody dey engrossed in playing guessing games about wages instead. |

patrickmuf: We don't sign any one, you question the ambition of the club owners... We sign a player, you scrutinize the transfer and begin to bandy outrageous numbers around... The media and their band of idiotic followers...
PSG are ambitious for paying outrageous fees for Neymar and Mbappe...
Barcelona have shown their willingness to remain at the top of the game for signing Dembele first and couple of months later, Coutinho...
Liverpool are tackling their defensive crises head long for breaking the bank to sign VVD...
Man City are spot on for improving their defence with players who are over priced big time...
Different rules for same offense...Haters gonna hate. Glory Glory Manchester United, not arrogant, just better... I no remember seeing reports upon reports detailing every financial aspect of coutinho's deal of even van dijk. The wage for 5 years, agent fees, sign on fee etc. The desperation in pushing this agenda of theirs is just ridiculous. Even more stupid are the people falling for it |

Y'all should pay no mind to those idiots who make it a point of duty to outline every single financial detail about any united purchase to push their agenda. Some of them dey even add money for plane tickets and cost of biros.
The whole total wage bla bla bla package amounting to 1 billion Zimbabwean dollars is nonsense, when being made to stand in isolation. Check these things out for other big deals done in recent times and you will see there is nothing outrageous about it. |

He made his name at udinese playing that position. Everyone seems to have forgotten. LW, Ss, RW, mans will upgrade the team. Even if na just this half season and the next, I won't complain too much. nateevs: Can, Wijnaldum and Oxlade will upgrade Drinkwater, Bakayoko and Moses in an instant. If anyone is stil in doubt about this, then they have not been paying attention. It matters less what has been said on this forum. Wise heads like Ibime, Griffon et al have been talking about midfield strength for eons. I joined in late on the topic but I came to terms when I saw the srength in their arguments. So this will not happen "all of a sudden". It has been brewing for ages. Then we made it worse by spending £75m on average midfielders.
The scape-goating continues I see. I never see you criticise Bakayoko for a single second. And you say there's no bias? Even you know this Nihilist.
Does Morata need to stay on his feet more? Yes! Could he have converted some of his chances? Yes! But the main question is still being evaded. If we don't have Morata playing against City; and as such, no one to "scape-goat", who is/are going to score 4 goals against City? I need you to answer this question. when small money on top for give Una dablord dabodele. But that's none of my business |
