Thanks... I have got the 2007 3.2L today.. was a bit up and about before I saw what checked all my dots...
Will hit alhaji Musa tomorrow for servicing and some minor fixes

Both cars are trustworthy and reliable, the T5 has slightly better mpg rating though pick up speed is not the fastest.

Both share suspension and interior parts. The engine costs are a difference of 50k, at 100k for T5 and 150k for 3.2l.

Major difference in parts costs are on body kits like the side mirrors, rear and front lights, bumpers and grille. The 3.2l being much more expensive than T5

I believe by now you know what to expect

The T5 is 5cyl turbo while the T6 is 6cyl twin turbo

The models without the T has no turbo

XC90 happens to be the most popular and accepted here in naija so far, and it means you'll easily get parts related to it, compared to the other models listed

Please add me to the group.. Am a Volvo enthusiastic, caught between XC90 T5 and 3.2L specs. Please opinions and advices are welcome regards the choice to make. Thanks

Greetings Volvo faithfuls.
I urgently need an advice.
I currently want to get a Volvo XC90, I need informed opinions regards making a choice between the T5 2005 model versus the 3.5 L 2007 models. The later seems to be more common around though i personally like the improved aesthetics of the 2007 model, however, my priority is availability of engine parts and durability. Am not based in lagos.
Follow up enquiry is "if the tail light of the 2005 can be replaced with that of 2007 model?
