LadyGuinivere:I know better now |
nefertitiram:Exactly my thought too but since the 3 months still works for me,i just took it and "jejely" walked away (at least he didn't stamp me in for the actual 2 weeks i'll be staying). PS: he asked me if I was pregnant,i said "No" then he smiled... |
Just came in through Chicago,my visa is expiring in July and they stamped me in till July(3 months as against the normal 6 months). Apart from that every other thing was "normal" PS: i'm not pregnant |
godguy:Mr godguy,I don't think you'll be able to claim your money especially since the license to operate has been revoked. My advice: forget the money and move on like you've been doing since 2014 |
sugah:Sugah, don't bother if you intend to "resuscitate" your account. I went to that branch(Ecobank,Ajao Estate after Aswani) but the CSM told me that PTA can't work on new and dormant account, she specifically said only accounts that have been functional for the last 6 months but you can still try you luck...Miracles still happen |
ladeolay:Hey ladeolay, tried sending you a PM but it's telling me i've sent too many mails. I'll keep trying cos I need that information like "kilode" |
quin9:Bingo! |
shithapuns:Please House,is it confirmed now that Stanbic has stopped selling PTA? If true, that one "na gobe o". I don't understand Standard Chartered again,i put in an application last week for PTA and results are still not out and my travel date is tonite. House, can I still try Stanbic today(my flight is for 11pm tonite)...#dollarfrustration |
Hehehehehehehehehehehe...nice one,JW! |
You guys should stop boring us with this stupid stories about Olajumoke. It's just one over-rated and over-hyped nonsense. |
It's true that they are both consenting adults that can decide to get married with or without approval but as much as possible it's best to have your parents' consent when getting married. Some people have gone ahead to get married without parental consent and it has worked for them but it's particularly important that a girl has her family's support and approval when getting married. I don't think the guy disrespected the girl's parent,it's the girl that disrespected her family(she shouldn't expect any form of respect from the guy except he's just a good person),she has told the man and the world that her parents mean nothing. It's true that some parents are difficult and hard but the very least you can do for your folks that have given you a lot of love is some respect. I don't condemn them o but she should just pray that things work out in that marriage,if not...who is she gonna run to? |
@Crowaddy,thanks for the education. The truth is I really didn't know (and still don't know) how the "form A" works and that was why I asked. |
Crowaddy, your first sentence is all the answer I need(the rest of it is just plain bullshit). Not everybody is dubious or have "bad intentions",so don't just open your mouth and spew rubbish. Thanks frontpagelawyer |
Frontpagelawyer,Lady G,Justwise and others kindly help out. I'm thinking of travelling to the UK next month and I want to find out somethings about that "form A" a) can I transfer money to a UK personal account(not for school fees or medical fees) using Form A and have the person withdraw when I get there? b) is it going to be at the official bank rate? c) do all banks offer that service(form A) and can it be done anytime? Please kindly help me with answers, merci! |
Ok,now I understand. I hope it comes out on time for you to meet up your other appointment. All the best, guy |
Abnot, why don't you try and be patient till your application sails through. You keep asking the same questions over and over again forgetting that nobody works with the BHC here. For someone that has been to the UK 10 times in that last 6 years,i must say you sound very green and too anxious. I hope you get a favourable response regarding your application sha(otherwise,i don't think we'll be safe on Nairaland). Cheers, man! |
Wait till you hear what happens at FBN Microfinance Bank(a subsidiary of FBN),the MD(a benue woman) runs the place like a one-man business and floods the place with her town people. A university graduate is paid 45k after slaving for a month. Two years ago,the MD slashed salaries and instructed everybody to pay back the "excess" for the last two years(if your original start up salary was 95k,two years later she slashed it to 65k and order all the staff(except herself offcourse) to pay the "excess" of 30k for two years). The targets are unrealistic and proper work tools not given. That place is a. Horror, people keep leaving and she keeps bragging that she has a stack of CVs to get everybody replaced. Let's not even talk of the fraud cases(insider related offcourse). Things will only change when she is replaced |
