Ex-President Jonathan said this during the 10th National Convention of the PDP. Could he be likened to a prophet?

"The choice before nigerians in the coming elections is simple: A choice between going forward or going backwards; between the new ways and the old ways; between freedom and repression; between a record of visible achievements and beneficial reforms-and desperate power-seekers with empty promises"

Ninety-nine per cent of us are familiar with the saying that "No man is above mistake," and we seems to use this line even when we have committed irreversible mistake.

Assuming you have now realised that you did a very great mistake in one way or the other in the 2015 General Elections, what was that greatest thing/misake you made and if given the opportunity what else would you do?

If am not being straight forward, I think the problem is from the administration as there are no companies recruiting. The existing ones are even sacking and some companies folding up.

I will be probably banned for this.

Nairaland is now going to the dogs, the owner has the audience and now he is running a celebrity forum.

It is not only in job section, so many helpful posts are overlooked but once it is about celebrity or by certain users it makes Frontpage.

The supermod is not helping matters, I keep mentioning him for great post but they don't look at them.

We have to take it like that.
And all these junk post are making most of us to be lazy.

Since the assumption of the new administration in Nigeria, Nairaland Jobs/Vacancies section seems to die a natural dead.
Before now, we used to see a lot of job opportunities on front page from different companies recruiting. A lot of nairalanders got their dream jobs through this medium, but today the reverse is the case.
The question now is, are the Mods in Nairaland "Jobs/Vacancies" section no more moving job vacancies to the front page? who should be blame , the Mods or the new administration?

@Mod no offense intended, just asking.

Hello Guys, compliment of the season!

It is always said that "A problem shared is a problem half solved", if I'm not mistaken. And I need your advice before "Had I know".
I met a young lady few months ago through a friend of mine. I told her my intentions about her, which at first she started giving me some excuses why she is afraid of being my girlfriend, of which her reasons were not because of me. Hmmm, ladies way sha undecided. But after few lyrics she later replied with "Ok , let watch and see".
After observing few weeks later that she neither flash nor call me, I asked her why she has not for once called me, and she replied "I CAN'T CALL A MAN".
So, guys if you were in my shoe how would you have reacted to that statement and do you think we are dating? If we are dating will she make a good friend who always give to her boyfriend when he's in need?

PoliticsIn Less Than A Year President Buhari Has Visited All The Countries In The World. by Pinkybush(op):
When considering what led to the emergence of Buhari as the President of Nigeria, which include; Insecurity, Corrupt, Poor state of Economy, Unemployment/Poverty, Etc, one wonders why Mr. President have decided to visit "nearly" all the Countries in the World at the expense of addressing what brought him to power.

Looking at Insecurity for instance, It could be recall that when Goodluck Jonathan, the former president of Nigeria was in power, the then Opposition were on all the social media including nairaland Forum, accusing him of irrelevant trips while people were dying. But, today in less than a year, President Buhari have visited nearly all the Countries in the World if not all, while insurgence is at its peak.

Corruption during Jonathan's administration was a perfect tool for the then Opposition to used. He (Jonathan) was accused of his cabinet being corrupt. But, today it is worrisome to see that those with corruption cases will now man sensitive positions in Buhari's administration.

Nigeria's economy which was the highest in Africa, is now nothing to write home about, as everything have become stagnant.

Since the emergence of this so call "Change" administration, no empowerment programme have been established to address the issue of unemployment/poverty. Yet, President Buhari is busy on foreign trips.

Which way Nigeria? where are Nigeria's ex-wailers? Are they now enjoying the country with this total blackout?

Most people no longer believe in one Nigeria due to one reason or the other, while some says one Nigeria is the best thing that has ever happen on the planet Earth.

Those calling for separation states their reasons to include; marginalization at the Federal level, Oppression by one Geopolitical zone, Current security crisis, Favouritism, etc.

To those saying Nigeria should remain one, what are your reasons?

What exactly is this World turning into? For more than five years, my younger brother have been complaining how someone use to have "Sex" with him when he sleeps. Both at night and day time. He said, "At night something will hit the roof once, directly to where my bedroom is. And in less than five minutes I will fall asleep and someone would start having sex with me. This normally happen if I faced up while sleeping. But, if I'm not facing up, the person will start to oppress me." I have been advising him to pray before going to bed, which he said he used to do. Now, he has resolve to visit "Babalawo" to get something to trap the person when next he comes, and he needs where to go for it.

Please your sincere contribution and advice are highly welcomed.
