I read your point of view. If the pass rate of a 2 step account is 1 in 10 chances. Taking $75 per 10K challenge, that would mean $750 in spending to get to funded stage... With 8% + 5% in the two phases will amount to 1,300 worth of unwithdrawable profit generated.

I think not many people view it the way you do, and I'm afraid I'm one of them 😢

Here is why I don't care about prop firm again. In order to avoid losing an account, one spends so much time trying to pass a challenge because of too many rules that is besides the manipulations going on at the back end. Manipulation like fake slippage. That one is too common among prop firms. It happened to me severally and got me frustrated. Imagine having your SL executed at 3x or 4x the actual risk you placed.
Now, a 10k account is approx 90usd. If I pass such account, I probably will be happy to see 500usd from such account. After having thought about it, I felt it was better I risk 100usd per trade, if the trade goes well I see nothing short of 3x from experience. Sometimes 6x to 8x in pairs like GBPNZD and JPY pairs. If I lose the 100usd, I fund again from previous profit. This gives me a better peace of mind because I am certain there will be no stories with my withdrawal and no unnecessary manipulation.
The attached screenshot is my current trade on USDCHF. I placed trades until my MARGIN LEVEL comes down to 300%. This creates a little room for some draw down because I am treating that 100usd account as SL. If all things go as planned, I should be living this trade with nothing short of 450usd. I feel better trading this way now.
The only thing is that this my method requires having an edge over the market, else you may need to fund more than twice before hitting a successful one.

Boss mi, don't give up on them o. Just try to get reputable ones to deal with and understand their rules before you sign up. Don't miss out on the gold mine. It's out rightly normal for bad eggs to want to take advantage.

Some prop firms may not appreciate swing traders with a big win and might throw in consistency rule on some of their best evaluation type. Most decent H4 trades hits TP within 2 weeks...
Some will hold your payout and use "interview schedule" to pause the winning momentum. I requested payout late August and September was interview, payout? October! 😂 Lol. If you check different prop firms server, traders are scared of making money because of consistency rule and random unnecessary interviews. It is because of capital, most aren't willing to risk.

Prop firrm set so many rules that makes one begin to Wonder if the actual want you to win and get profitable,and trading with your one money give you more confidence to wait no matter how Long it take for your set up to play out before taking an entry...

I think it better I just trade my own money with 0.01 lots and compound. No rules, Slow and steady is easier than prop firm wahala.

Those jargons u call does not include Support & Resistance in any way so stop trying to guess what you don't know and deal with what you know.

Leave ICT jargons to ICT traders and focus on your own.

Every forex trader with their own system. You didn't become profitable with ICT doesn't mean other are not making profits with it.
If Support & Resistance works better for you, then stuck with it and leave ICT for those it favours.

I'm an SMC trader not ICT or Support/Resistance and that's what works for me but I wouldn't call it best over others.

Nope! That is why I asked Sam if they're using real account for the competition and the answer he got from the cc is that is demo only that you've to have $100 in your equity to qualify. So they're not making money as you alleged.

XM Competition is the new Prop firm. In short, prop firm's "can go and dye!"

As for me, when I was able to enter 3900 profit, I stopped trading.... Coz I knew I will surely win something with that profit .....
