INEC knows this that's why they made sure voting started very late in the East to discourage people. And they made sure most of their BVAS wasn't working.
When results starts coming from the east, people go get high blood pressure. What ever Atiku will get from 6 northern states, Obi will neutralise with 2 states. And Neutralise that of Tinubu with three states from the east. Southwest 6 states for Tinubu with North central will be neutralise by south South vote for Obi.
Even with all their rigging, Obi will still win.

Truth is there lots of tools in today's Forex business that one can use to calculate position sizing without knowing how to count pip.

what happened was not so much of stop widening but liquidity provider of your broker lagging behind in price and your broker using feed of their premium liquidity provider to execute your trade.. if you notice price eventually got to where your stop was.. if you compare your chart at that point with other brokers like darwinex, forex.com, pepperstone, and several others you will see that the swing of your broker was so different from others... your broker at the point of execution might not have access to use the liquidity provider of the premium price feeds used to execute your trade but can use it to their advantages... price feeds inconsistency is normal during such active period and especially worse with low liquid pairs like eurnzd

Is such not supposed to be reflected in the candlestick on the chart.
I know price feeds can vary . You will see that variance on the chart. For instance there was a time BTC spiked on ICmarket platform but didn't do so at Binance and other exchanges. However, that spike or difference in price reflected on the chart.

Agreed, Stop loss hunt is manipulation, widening of spread is manipulation. But by the time you understand your broker and the pair you are trading very well, you will always know how to avoid the manipulation. Ask you broker about their maximum spread on that particular pair, What you said here happened to me last year, I was holding a chfjpy trade with a profit breakeven, spread always widen so much on that pair during market close and reopening but i wasnt informed, the spread didnt respect my breakeven, it ended me with a loss instead and when the spread comes back to normal, price rallys to all take profit, I called it manipulation as well. Move Stoploss away to the maximum spread if you want to leave the trade overnight

My brother all this things you are saying is valid... But over 30 pips widening of spread on EURNZD? Hmm... That one weak me. This is just like having a 15pips spread on EURUSD or GPBUSD.

There are manipulations in the market... If you think there is none then you are yet to be properly informed.
Just like whales can push a crypto asset to a desired direction, there are people who decides where the market will go. Brokers too have their own gimmicks. I shared a screen shot yesterday of how much stoploss was taken out on EURNZD when price was about 30 pips away from my SL.

There are manipulations in the market. Criminal over widening of spreads and broker induced slippage is manipulation. I experienced one yesterday.

1.70225... it passed my SL. But my problem is how come. Price didn't go anywhere close to that price, neither was there a spread that wide.

One of the reasons i don't trust brokers with SL. This is FTMO demo ooo... My EURNZD sell hit SL
The red line is my stop loss and the gap between highest price and my SL is about 30 pips yet my trades were closed. I no understand. My leverage was not dropped, neither was the spread increased beyond 7pips.

Any broker that doesn't have a minimum of 3.5 star rating on FPA and minimum of 4.0 star rating on Trust pilot with a minimum of 50 reviews don't use that broker. No matter what anyone tells you. Unless you are trading small account size. If you account is in the range of 10k and above stay away from such brokers, one day story go enter for your money.

Do U mean that, u leave the position open Even while its going against your analysis, or you close when market starts trending the opposite direction?

There is a level you enter a trade, no matter what happens price must return there. I have account I only close positive trades at the end of the day and leave the negative. The next day, I add more positions to the negative trades and add more confirmed setups.
I also have an account I close trades when they are within certain marked out region whether they losing or Winning side.

My unpopular opinion is that POSITION SIZING is a better way of managing ones risk instead of using stop loss.

Most brokers will not respect your stop loss in events like the above mentioned. This is when the trader really needs the "saving grace" of the stop loss but it fails.

Why then should I use stop loss if they fail when I need them the most?

Exactly... Stop is meant for people who risk too much with and unproven strategy.

2000pips at 0.01 is about 200usd. If someone has 5 trades that went wrong at 2000pips each on a 5k account, that's 1k.

Stop loss is for regulated trading involving certain amount of risk.

Closed Yesterday trades On my FTMO demo account. This is the third demo account I am trading in preparation to joining prop trading. So far 2.2% has been achieved of the total 5% target.

Aside from my HUGE loss on jan 15, 2015. CHF interest rate which i vividly remember. I have been fortunate to not have been blowing accounts and losing a lot of money - LUCKY ME or probably not.

I'm a school dropout - (studying a top medical course in a top university in Nigeria) because of forex but that's story for another day.

There's stories of lots of personal setbacks & strained relationships but it is what it is. You have to do what you have to do...to survive.

Oh and i dedicated my life to learning news trading after that loss - at a point when i was in Pretoria i was privileged to have a brief trading session with ref wayne that man opened my eyes to things the normal eyes couldn't see.

I have had losses but the highest i had was 52% maximum loss. Which was over a 8 month period.

And ever since i modeled my risk assessment or VaR as shevychen said to be hyper conservative i haven't had such huge losses.

NOBODY IS ABOVE THE MARKET, WE (Retailers) ALL ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FOOD CHAIN. YOU EITHER SURVIVE OR YOU GET EATEN.

But the stories I've read here, oh my! We thank God for growth & progress.

It depends on account size and risk. Someone can trade without stop loss successfully. I have seen People doing that for years with a drawdown of less than 20%
