Hi friends, I am new here please I need your advice regarding this issue. I got an MS admission into a US university tuition waiver. I have already completed an MS degree in my home country but I desire another MS in a slightly different field.
Four years ago, I had rejection for my tourist visa and I had already filled in the previous DS160 form (for tourist visa) what connotes completion of a 2nd degree.
My question is that what are the chances of getting visa if the VO knows I am going to US for another MS?
What can I tell the VO to butress the fact that I need the 2nd MS degree?
Will it be ok to update my new DS160 form (for F1 visa) by removing the part that connotes previous MS degree in my home country?

Going for a 2nd MS degree does not in any way affect your chances of getting an F1 visa, provided the degrees are in different programs and you can sufficiently convince the VO as to why you need the degree e.g. diversification, future career goals, etc. Always good to fully disclose your academic information on the DS160.

The test was okay, but the most important thing is speed and accuracy. There were four sections in all: verbal, quantitative, sentence completion and general questions. The total time was like 56mins. The first three sections had 20 questions and were 12 minutes each, while the general questions were 40 questions for 20 minutes. Like I said, it's about speed and accuracy. The first three sections are the normal formats, while the general question aspect contained questions from geography to medicine and all. I hope this helps.
