Business / Re: Design Professional Book Cover Or Ebook Cover by Pitchblak: 4:17pm On Feb 17, 2021
One of the problems authors often have is that even though their book is great, they happen to have zero or very low sales. The lack of professional looking marketing images on their websites and social media accounts is what affects sales the most. Luckily, you’ve found the ebook mockup generator that will boost your ebook sales.

The way you present your ebook can be equally as important as the quality of the design itself, this is why it’s always a good idea to invest on quality visual assets that will enhance the way your ebook looks. Struggling to get an ebook cover design you love? Make one yourself!

Business / Can I Trust Company Overseas For Production Of Metal Business Card by Pitchblak: 1:16pm On Jul 27, 2020
At SmartBrief, we know metal cards are perfect for designers, entrepreneurs, attorneys, professionals or anyone else who wants a high end card. These we have successfully sold the idea of Metal Business Card to most of our clients and they have successfully placed orders for supply, but don't know where to start? Presently, metal business cards are not been produced in Nigeria so most printing companies send their designs and concepts abroad for production, the challenge now is that there are so many companies oversea especially China claiming that they can print or etch logo and business contact information on a stainless steel metal card
Some even says that we can customize one of your many free business card designs to feature your logo, personalize your business card, add text, change fonts and the layout, and even add images and a logo. All for free. It is truly free to design the business cards?
We know that looking to do any sort of overseas business, trusting the company with which we will be doing that business is paramount. It is paramount because if something should go wrong between us and that company, securing a legal remedy will almost always be more difficult than it would be for an entirely domestic dispute.
The question now is can we trust these companies, how reliable are they because you have to transfer money before order and production
• Can we trust their intentions?
• Can we trust their ability?
• Can we trust their judgment?

Webmasters / Webmaster Vs Web Developer Vs Web Designer by Pitchblak: 12:31pm On Jul 09, 2020
Almost everywhere you look someone is talking about or calling themselves either a webmaster, web developer or web designer. But what does it all really mean?
There is a big difference in the job descriptions and duties of a web designer, a web developer and a webmaster, but the average person gets them confused but Smartbrief has taking time to study and help people understand and to decide on who to hire, A Webmaster, Web Developer or Web Designer?

A webmaster
A webmaster (from web and master) also called a web architect, web developer, site author, website administrator, or website coordinator is a person responsible for maintaining one or many websites. The duties of the webmaster may include seo, sem as well as ensuring that the web servers are operating correctly, designing the website, generating and revising web pages, SEO testing, replying to user comments, and examining traffic through the site. As a general rule, professional webmasters “must also be well-versed in Web transaction software, payment-processing software, and security software as well as being experts in marketing and social networking.

Web Designers
Web Designers are basically graphic designers. They should have a creative and artistic background and be strong in visual and graphics. A web designer is responsible for the overall look and feel of the site, including the photos, color, font type and size, graphics, and layout.
The designer may not always be the person writing the code and in some cases can work independently of the team who will take a website design live.
Much of a designer’s job is creative and uses both intuition and imagination, often characteristics of people who are considered right-brained. People in this field may continue their educations in a variety of fields but are most commonly drawn to graphic design and the arts. Designers collect work portfolios to showcase their projects for potential employers.

Web Developers
Web developers do not have experience in design work, and that is not their primary function. The developer’s job is knowing how to write the proper css, html, php or mysql code and how to tie it all together including forms and other elements of the website. In other words, the web developer is in charge of the functionality of the website.
As a general rule web developers primarily work with websites, as opposed to building an application that would run on your computer.

STUBBORNNESS HAS CONSEQUENCES!
A lady tourist came upon a shepherd with his flock and noticed that one of them was lying down; it has a broken leg, and visibly in pain. The lady asked the shepherd, “what happened to the leg?” To his utter amazement, he said, “Madam, I broke the leg myself.” “Why?” asked the lady. And the reply was, “Because, of all the sheep in this flock, that one was the most stubborn and disobedient; it would never obey my voice. It always wondered off and led the rest of the flock astray. I have had this problem before; and so, I know the cure. I broke its leg, so as to save it and my other sheep. On the first day, I went to it with food and it tried to bite me. I left it alone for a few days and it got hungry. Then I went back to it. Now it not only takes the food, but it licks my hand as well. Let me tell you something: when this sheep is well again, as it soon will be, it will be the model sheep of the flock. No sheep will hear my voice more quickly. None will follow so closely at my side.

At one level, we can use that story to understand the frustration of parents with very stubborn children, especially when you realize they do not have to “break the leg” as an option. On the other hand, you can imagine the frustration of God with Israel and with all of us given our obstinacy in sin. He even went to the extent of “regretting having created man” (Gen 6:6). In today’s reading (Hosea 8:4-7,11-13), the Lord expressed his frustration with Israel for making kings and princes without his consent or approval; they made idols of silver and gold at their own ruin. So his wrath was kindled, and he vowed that he will punish them: their works will neither bear fruit nor will their prayers and sacrifices receive an answer. They have to go back to Egypt – go back to slavery. Obviously we do not understand the workings of God’s justice (punishment) in our lives; but it is always part of the ordering of his providence. Our stubbornness have a prices tag to it. The wise person is he who listens to God’s commandment, and tries to diligently keep them. It our greatest security (the Ibos call it “ófó na ògù”) against famine; and against the attack of evil forces, or the arrows of evil men/women. In the Gospel (Matt 9:32-38) we find Jesus setting free a dumb demoniac. This is the figure of many of us made ‘dumb’ by suffering and ‘enslaved’ to pain. When God remembers us in his mercy, he frees us from the clutches of the ‘avenger’ that fulfill the workings of his justice.
