EU opened yesternight with a bear gap. And price movement so far is still indicating a Bear pressure. Both the weekly and daily charts look bearish.
On the 4hr TF, EU is trading at the lower TL of a descending channel as shown in the attached chart. This is a kind of hope for the Bulls and a turnaround can be achieved if the 2873-2860 support region holds. Also, a successful break of the channel will only lead to more south moves.
Meanwhile, on the 1hr TF, EU will have to break 2878 (today’s low so far) to reach 2861. A successful break of 2861 will target 2836. Another scenario is for EU to break 2905 up (If it doesn’t act as resistance eventually though), the targets would 2926 and then 2945. If the Bulls come with volume and momentum, 2971 could be achieved.

Today’s EU Outlook – 08/05/2012
According to the daily chart, EU has eventually slipped below the triangle as shown in the above chart. Though yesterday’s candle closed bullish which is an indication of the emergence of Bull powers, but care must be taken as there are still some minor resistance levels that EU need to cross before we can go north more. For now, the Bear pressure is still intact and they can resume anytime…this is Bear zone.
Meanwhile, here is my bias for today and the levels I will be watching: EU is currently trading around 302X and 3027 is a minor resistance. That will be the first Bull test for this morning. A successful break above it takes us to 3060 which is a major resistance. The 3060-75 region is also the area where EU will have to cross back in order to enter the triangle on the daily chart for more bullish move guarantee. If EU crosses these prices, one should be careful as it might be a good supply zone for the Bears. The Bulls really need volume and momentum to move the price across this region.
On the other hand, a good sell signal around any of the resistance (3027, 3060, and 3075) lines is feasible. From 3027, the targets would be 2971 and then 2945.

EU Outlook - EU is currently trading at the 3214 support. If it breaks it, we may see more bear pressure. Taking the past moves on EU into consideration, I will expect EU to find its support around/below 3214 for more bullish moves back to 3286. If 3286 is broken, 3325 and probably 3355.

EU Analysis 05/03/12
Good morning all and welcome to a new trading week. Last week, EU broke out of the 3486-3385 range on Wednesday and broke 3385 to the down side. The downward move continued till Friday last week thereby making most traders to believe that EU is now in a down trend. Though it seems so on a short term basis, but technically, the fact is that the Bulls are not yet totally overcome by the Bears. The Bears still need to break some prices to the downside before we will totally enter the Bear zone on a long term basis.
Currently, EU is ranging between 3214 and 3183 and this will make our bias on an intraday basis and short term. If EU successfully breaks 3214, then it might be a free ride back to 3286 which might then want to act as a resistance. Likewise, a successful break of 3183 and the Bull TL around there will result in more Bear pressure on EU.
