Translation: self deport pls so we don't spend thousands of dollars on deporting you. If you self deport you can come back later, you have to be dumb to believe that. If I am in their shoes, I will send all my savings home, sell properties that I can sell and wait for their deportation if they can find 900,000 people to deport.

I don't understand this Nigerians that think joining the US Army as an enlisted man aka recruit is some kind of step up in life, I can understand graduating from one of the military academies army, Navy and Airforce but recruit? Let me stop before the ignoramus start calling themselves haters.

There is no husband in Nigeria, Tinubu's destroyed economy has rendered many young men financially useless, so dear Miss Okoli, I hope you are ready to be the breadwinner of your marriage? No sensible, ambitious man will even take you serious after hearing about your irrational decision borne out of laziness, foolishness and stupidity.

That husband that made you leave United States of America where Nursing professionals are highly rewarded to come back to labor foolishly in Nigeria without first setting up a thriving business or investment to fall back on should things go south, you may not find one because most of them are struggling to survive Tinubu's harsh economy.

Time will teach you a hard lesson.

That small dollar you saved that is making you feel like you can survive Tinubu's damaged economy will soon finish, na today? You go soon start Lekki/VI hookup for survival, time will tell.

I suspect she is a lazy girl looking for an easy way out of life, a waste to her family and community that she ought to have helped working in the US as a Nurse angry
How do you know she doesn't have a thriving business or investment set up in Nigeria before relocation. She just told you, it's not about money. Even her savings as a Nurse in America is enough for her live on in Nigeria till she die, she can always go back 1 or 2 months and work as a travelling nurse and be back in Nigeria living a better quality life at a cheaper cost.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Tarrifs: Trump Promises Additional 50% On China by planetx: 10:07pm On Apr 07
This guy is obviously dismantling the American empire on the orders of the transnational global elites, everything he is doing is a deliberate attempt at weakening America and destroying it's institutions. The same strategy they have used in destroying and looting so called third world is what they are about to implement on America and the American people, that is why millions are out on the streets protesting, but unfortunately this plan is in motion and irreversible, it's like the hungry bear coming back to it's den to eat her own cubs.

You can get low fat Greek yogurt for a $1.

You can get pinto beans for less than a dollar.

Dry cereals, chicken breast, oats, tofu, canned tuna and salmon...

I have mentioned snacks/food. Now delete your comment.
What part of America are you living in that cereals, chicken breast, oats, tuna, salmon and pinto beans are sold for a $1 lol.

Lol...

Are these people serious?

You destroy the economy, devalue the currency to ridiculous levels and then brag about it?

$1 in the US would get you a variety of snacks that can be quite filling.

That boli and fish that is N1,500 today, was less than N200 10 years ago. The meal you can get for $1 in the US today, was about 85 cents 10 years ago.

That $1 is about 0.1% of the average minimum wage in the US.

N1,500 over 2% of the minimum wage in Nigeria.

Hope Tope can see the difference in cost of living and purchasing power.

$1 will not get you any snacks in the US. Mention the snacks or delete your comment.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Anti-Trump Protesters Gather In Washington, Other US Cities by planetx: 9:26am On Apr 06
This is all just a bunch of white people who thought Trump was only going to press the neck of black and brown people plus immigrants, not knowing he was also going to press their necks too. That is why they are protesting, they are seeing their cushy white privileges lifestyle going up in smoke, but no amount of protesting will change what is coming because it's biblical and biblical prophesies must be fulfilled.

What's so special about this Nigerian Army Uniform when I can walk into a shop in the US and get a studded US Army Camo without anyone batting an eyelid..

They always act like it's a treasonable offence for a civilian to wear a simple camo.
Two different societies with different mindset, people don't impersonate soldiers in the US, as a matter of fact wearing camo in the US does not confer any special privilege on you unlike in Nigeria. You cannot harass anybody, you cannot jump a queue, etc etc because you are a soldier real or fake else police will put you in handcuffs.

This is just empty rhetorics, nothing will be done until the next massacres. I am beginning to suspect that this governors in Plateau and Benue are complicit in the ongoing genocide against the people of those states. This had been going on easily for more than 2 decades and this guy in 2025 while attending a fashion event, yes a freaking fashion event while bodies are still being found but he is telling them how they will overcome with empty words.

You think the idea gaining traction of running against Obama now circulating is just a joke? People are in for a rude awakening.

Mynd44:
You are right. One of the reasons Egypt is building a new capital from ground up is to prevent what happened that led to regime change. A way to protect future governments.

Nigeria did something similar when we moved the capital city from Lagos to Abuja. It was a way to shield governments from coups and the likes.

It kind of worked though as Nigeria has only experienced one coup since moving the capital to Abuja
What coup was that?
