AgricultureYam Growing On Tiles (Pictures) by PlayYourPart(op): 2:51pm On Jan 22, 2022
I got two tubers of yam sometimes last year, we cooked the first one, but while eating it, we discovered it was not sweet at all.

Since we can't just throw money away like that, we left the second yam there.

Lo and behold, after some time, the second yam started growing right there inside a tiled kitchen, even without been rooted in the subsoil.
It continues to grow rapidly but without leaf.
I took the picture of it as seen below in December 2021.
(Note: it has grown beyond this level now)
I want to see how far it can grow on the tiled surface in the kitchen.

As I be Architect, my biology no reach that level but I know we have botanist in house who can educate us about what is happening.

On Monday 8th, March, 2021, I was driving my school bus from Ladega through Kokoro Abu to Sabo area of Ikorodu, when I got to Kokoro Abu, precisely in front of Salvation Army School, three guys came from under the tree beside the school and ask for "Owo basket ati Iwe" (meaning basket money and paper), so I asked one of them, what that was for, he said it is for waste basket and papers, I told him, as you can see this is not a commercial transport vehicle, it is a school bus, he replied, we are collecting it from school buses and church buses, I asked, how much is it, he said #15,000. I told him I wasn't aware of this before, and the school is not even under any of the local governments in Ikorodu, the school is under Shagamu Local Government which is in Ogun state, he said once I collect it there, it covers all local governments, I told him I will go and verify at their local government later, he said I should pay them the money there, otherwise they will take me to their local government, where I will have to pay extra 5,000 for fine, he said, it is either I pay 15,000 there or I pay 20,000 at their local government (they were referring to Ikorodu Central LGA). I told them it's better we go to the local government. So they said I should open the door for them to enter the vehicle, (because of their "area boys" appearance) I told them that is not possible, they should have their operational vehicle, hearing that, one of them decided to deflate my tires, he deflated one of the tires a bit before he stopped. So I snap their pictures, a few I could snap from inside the vehicle, then they started treating harm if I should come down from the vehicle.
One of them move to the side of the vehicle, and dial the number on the bus, my glasses were wind up so he didn't know I was the person receiving the call. While calling he said the driver is proofing stubborn, and that is why he decided to call before they move the vehicle to Local Government, I told him I will call back. (Call recording is attached)

Sensing that they may be there on illegal duty, I called a senior police officer who then send some policemen to the scene, with them I was able to leave that place, however I told those area-boys looking guys, I will find out if their claim is true.

So I want to use this medium to ask Ikorodu Central Local Government if they truly put those guys there, or if they are aware of what is going on there.

If yes, they should shed more light on what they mean by "Owo basket ati Iwe" costing #15,000
And why it should affect schools not under your local government.

Attached are the audio call recording, and pictures of the guys.

@Moderators, please push to front page so it can get to the concerned authorities.
