Hi everyone, I’m going for my biometrics on Wednesday and I’m trying to decide whether to stick with the standard visa or switch to the priority service for a quicker decision. My school resumes on September 21, and I need a week or two to properly plan. What would you suggest? Please Advice…

What do you think about MSc in Artificial Intelligence
Would you advice one to go on with the course.

Those coming through the study route should be more intentional about the courses they are opting for because it makes no sense studying courses that gives little or no chance of getting skilled worker visa.

Limiting this to my own field, I did my Msc. in Clinical Child Psychology and presently work in the children services of a London borough, under the safeguarding and corporate parenting unit.

Courses and work experience related to children, increases one's chances of getting a skilled worker visa as the demand for skilled workers in that sector is very high in both the private and public sector.

i want to start my POF ON Friday i hope it is not too late for September intake

I have tried to look into Canadian International Student immigration pathways, but it is not as straightforward as the UK's. It is so confusing.

Why don’t you just try canada? you have enough funds, and their path to Permanent residency is less complicated

Not trying to spread unnecessary fear I’m just expressing myself.

Does anyone else double-doubt this whole schooling thing ?

After calculating my proof of funds today, I just froze. Sixty million? but my mind still spiraled into all sorts of thoughts like:

What if it doesn’t go as planned? What if I make this huge sacrifice and it doesn’t work out?

It’s not that I’m giving up I’m just overwhelmed.

Has anyone else felt this way? How did you manage to calm yourself down and stay focused?
