When I moved to Metro 97.7FM in 2013, I suggested a show idea to my Head of Presentation Tolu Stevens and she liked it. The first thing she said was, 'wait, I know someone that you can work with on this'. Lo and behold, Rexx Pincode Okiche appeared (he's always the tallest in the room so it was an appearance �). "I was managing a restaurant-. Among the staff there I was known for my absolutely filthy mouth. Well, that very week after I went to the altar at the church something happened at work and I blurted out a vulgar word. Instantly I was mortified! I actually gasped and clutched my throat in reaction. What had been common place in my life now became a knife in my heart. I was so embarrassed!"
Other changes began to sprout. " Suddenly I realized I was no longer afraid of the dark, which is something I'd always suffered. I think it traced back to weird things in my childhood, playing the Ouija board with my mum when I was little, and all that"
"Anyway, now the problem vanished. I could turn out the lights when I went to bed and feel nothing but coziness. Darkness no longer triggers my apprehension."
Today Vanessa Holland runs her own business as a personal trainer, assisted by two part time employees. Her life has stabilized, her outlook is positive. She found out along the way that her mother had met the Lord just as dramatically back in Australia.

Happy new month to us all. No doubt we are living in very critical and demanding times. It's a season that seems strange to us all but which is not strange to our God. Everything follows a divine rhythm. God's plan always stands out.

The Lord will visit His people with salvation. We only need to be aware of this and get prepared for it. We need to remain His people indeed and in truth.

I will be sharing with us in this month of June on the above subject as laid on my mind by the Lord. Let us get our vessels ready.

*INTRODUCTION*:Every child of God has a spiritual force-field around him; it’s a hedge ofto protection that repels the enemy. Satan and his demonic agents are very much aware of this fact.Isaiah 5:1-5.

A hedge is a wall or fence built around a precious property or possession to prevent damage or theft. It is usually set up for the purpose of protection or defense.

The distance between a great victory and a great defeat is only one step, and often only a short one at that. One sad truth of reality in a fallen world is that we can be riding high on the cloud of some great spiritual success and the very next moment find ourselves in a valley of spiritual failure and despair.Never is the believer in greater danger of a fall than after a victory. We are so prone to drop our guard and begin trusting in ourselves or in our past victories rather than the Lord. One victory never guarantees the next. Only as it builds our confidence in the Lord and develops our wisdom in appropriating God’s Word do our victories aid us for the next battle. Always, the basis of victory is the Lord Himself and our faith/dependence on Him.

*A. REASONS WHY HEDGES ARE BROKEN*

- Satanic attacks Job 1:1-22

-Disobedince/unfaithfulness
Genesis 3:1-24; Ephesians 4:27-28;Joshua 7:1-2

-Ungodly compromise/alliance 2 Chronicles 18:1-34;
Ephesians 5:11

-God's anger against sin Psalm 89:38-41;
Isaiah 5:1-6;Psalm 80:12;Lamentations 2:6;Isaiah 17:11;

*B. SIGNS THAT THE HEDGE IS BROKEN*

- Sudden and repeated cycle of attack/Sickness

- Unfruitfulness

- Defeat in battle

- Lack of power to prevail

- Family disharmony or afflictions ( David's sin of taking Beersheba and killing Uriah led to series of negative events in his family). 2 Samuel 12:10-13

- Lives overcomed by ungodliness and wickedness

*CONCLUSION*: We must ensure that the hedge/wall of protection that God has built around us and our family is not broken. And peradventure they have been broken, God is very much interested in building them back,
