Ai got this somewhere, can't rmember whether on dis forum or somwhere else. Lemme share: For those coming to Delta, camp is at Iselle-uku. From Lagos & southwest generally, plus Benin, just enter either Asaba bus (Delta line recommended) or Onitsha bus & alight at Iselle Uku junction. The bike guys'll start hassling you once you get down. You cross the express & take a bike. Pre- January price was 50 naira, even tho some people paid 100 naira. So now, the price shldnt be more than N70 or N80. Tho the bike guys may attempt to xploit you & tell you N150 or N200. Wise up Others can post if this is not correct! |
So pathetic! |
Hello peeps! I have quietly watched and read from the back seat the different thread, post and comments in this section of the forum. There is an underlying tone every where: NYSC has outlived its relevance. A good case study is the 3 weeks orientation programme. From different comments most camps are in a deplorable condition except some few states. The scheme cannot also provide good quality kits to corps member, hence each individual needs to equip him/her self well before leaving for camp. The experience after being posted to PPA is another. Considering the state of insecurity in the northern states, must people be posted to states like Born, Comb, Yobs....when they themselves cannot sleep there for a week talk less of sending their children all in the name of serving 'our' father land. I am beginning to loose hope on Nigeria and I think the sole aim of the NYSC scheme needs to be reviewed. In fact we need a paradigm shift in Nigeria. This is just my thotz, please share yours too. One Love! |
