PoliticsRe: Court Orders Final Forfeiture Of ₦284 Million Belonging To Ex-Gov Yari To FG by PoeticComb:
How can an individual elected into a reputable facade of our democracy consistently working against us the people who elected them is one of the most heartless movement in the history of Democracy.

How can you be a meek lamb and suddenly turn into a gladiator once you are sworn in. The worst part is that some sycophants will still see him as innocent and this forfeiture of stolen funds will be simply evaluated as a political witch hunt .

Let me give you some run down example that shows they don't care about your if you think they do care .

Before the war began in Sudan for the agitation of South Sudan. Everyone saw this as a welcome development to disintegrate the Christians in Goma and the Muslims in the core Sudanese Federation . After years of independence what do South Sudan have to show for their elected officials and new government ?

Endemic corruption and armed militias. They began fighting the government they were supposed to work towards improving and making the institutions of their democracy stronger , rather they went for the actual opposite. The countries oils wealth have been handed off to the cronies who fought for the "freedom" . They disengage you the masses and the Individuals from the resources of the States coffer. They don't care about you because to then you are just a pawn in this big game of dog eat dog politics.

What I am trying to say in essence is for you to know that they don't care about you. The earlier you start to think about how they promise you heaven and earth . When they get to the seat of power , they turn to dragons and tigers. They embezzle more money than they would ever need. In this same country people don't have money to eat properly balanced diet in the North but one Aboki pocketed half of the States wealth . It's quiet demeaning and I can't wrap my head around how what we fought hard for suddenly turned into a monster that want to engulf us all from massive incompetence and avid corruption.

We need stronger institutions and Unions to make this people answer to our questions. They are taking us for a really long walk . If not some individuals who feel they can privatize our common wealth would consistently see politics as a avenue to cash out quick.

BusinessRe: 7 Ways To Get Out Of Debt In 2021 by PoeticComb: 5:36am On Jan 24, 2021
I would be blunt with you.

You have to avoid debt at all cost. Borrowing might be easy but paying back with interest at a stipulated time is really difficult. Sit down and ask yourself , why do I want to spend more than I earn. I won't die if I don't get that frivolity that is irking my soul. If you think you can't do without it. Just try and do without that thing and see that the heavens won't fall.

If you want to borrow money it should be for capital mobilization. The prolification of loan apps for easy cash should send a sharp warning to you that people are cashing out big time from debt. People are getting wealthy borrowing you money and being hawkish about funds in your account because you gave away all your information while registering.

All I am trying to say is that you should try and live within your means. Don't eat that ice cream on a debt. Don't borrow to impress your babe because you want to belong , premium tears await you when it's time to service your debt. You are not an american that you should live in debt. Avoid debt so you would have a little peace of mind when someone knocks on your door.

PoliticsRe: Oby Ezekwesili: Buhari Should Leave His Cows For Once by PoeticComb: 6:06pm On Dec 15, 2020
Then Came the Reign of Lord Of the Cows .

The animal kingdom sifted through unimaginable carnage,

Petals fell in The North and the Dessert chill seeped through The South.

For the Lord of Cows let terror reign and persevere.

For the cow king being scared of the powers being , powers within ;

Walked on eggshells to save the Animal Kingdom.

The Sheep's breathed from A rock ,

Solid and immovable .
Unpacified it stood out in the dark , shadows all around it.

The Lord of the Cows sat on his throne ,

As he picked his teeth , legs stretched ,

He watched the Zoo burn .

Ya. I've gone through it.. but I just want to know if they are still valid.. how true is the quarterly interest (10 years) of a thing I saw there.. lastly, is it possible for him(my late dad) to cash out the insurance before the duration (10 years being 2005-2015) cos he died in 2010?

Sorry for stressing you and thanks for your response
Union insurance have been acquired by Allianz Group , you can contact them on their website here

https://www.allianz.ng/

And make enquired about the money and see what might be the requirements to see if the insurance is still intact ,what you might need to get the cash out and to know if the interest continued after the 10 year margin .

We're a big family here in nairaland ,ask more questions if there is need to .

Hello
If the insurance company is still working ,you can get the cash ,it's half a million for the duration a ten years with no interest in the first document .

There is possibility of life insurance too from what I'm reading ,start from looking up the insurance company first and see if they sold off their company ,which bank they might be under or the meager . Then see where to proceed from and search in their records .

My 2 cents .

This looks like educational insurance and endowment, you can Google the insurance company to see if they exist and move from there
CrimeRe: Is This True?? Sars Has Killed More Nigerian Youths Than Armed Robbers by PoeticComb: 11:09pm On Sep 21, 2020
In the year of the the great plague ,

Years young from fresh rain ,

The great flood washed off the rice of the field

And there was famine in the land ,

The white light came ,with it came courage and understanding ,wealth and power ,fast cars for the appetite to imbibe was great .

Then came bitter men from the flock , far outcast and forbidden , laid waste with the tormentor ,fastened their taste for myopic frivolities .

Then the flowers sprouted ,in the middle of the thorns ,in the midst of broken world and shattered dreams , the flower sprouted , then the boots came ,the boots meant to guard crushed the flowers , and a sandal came ,and the sandals wanted only shoes ,the sandals bad in all ramifications.

The boots crushed the flowers under it's feet ,
With high speed chases and constant accidental fireworks .

P.O.S in hand and pencils on the other , who do we cry to ,when the boots crushes all the roses ,the flowers ,the budding trees and the swamps of the far east side of the Niger.

Who do we run to ?
